Abstract

Dari beberapa unsur hara, Ca dan Mg merupakan unsur hara makro yang diperlukan tanaman kelapa sawit untuk mendapat produksi yang diinginkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan status Ca, Mg dan produksi tanaman kelapa sawit di Perkebunan PT. Buana Estate Kabupaten Langkat. Data tanah dan produksi diambil secara random sampling, lalu dianalisis di Laboratorium Riset dan Teknologi Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sumatera Utara. Data status Ca, Mg tanah dan produksi digambarkan dengan menggunakan Sistem Informasi Geografis. Hubungan antara Ca, Mg dengan produksi dilakukan dengan regresi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa status Ca menyatakan sedang, sementara status Mg menyatakan rendah, Ca-tukar dan Mg-tukar berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap produksi kelapa sawit.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh pemberian pupuk KCl dan pupuk kandang sapi terhadap serapan K dan pertumbuhan tanaman jagung (Zea mays L.) pada tanah Inceptisol Kwala Bekala. Dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret sampai Oktober 2015 di Rumah  Kasa. Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial yag terdiri  dari 2 faktor dan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah dosis pupuk kandang sapi (0, 10, 15, 20 ton/ha) dan Faktor kedua adalah dosis pupuk KCl (0, 100, 150, 200 kg /ha). Parameter yang diamati adalah pH tanah H2O, C-organik tanah, Berat kering tajuk, berat kering akar, tinggi tanaman, serapan K tajuk tanaman, Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk KCl secara nyata dapat meningkatkan, berat kering akar, berat kering tajuk dan Serapan K tanama, dan pemberian pupuk kandang sapi dapat meningkatkan C-organik tanah, tinggi tanaman, Sedangkan interaksi antara pemberian pupuk KCl dan pupuk kandang sapi tidak meningkatkan pH tanah H2O, C-organik tanah, Tinggi tanaman, Berat kering tajuk, Berat kering akar dan serapan K tanaman. Sedangkan pH tanah tidak berpengaruh nyata.

Abstract

Rubber (Hevea brasiliensis Muell. Arg) is one of the superior plantation commodities that has a huge potential in Indonesia. Rubber development is centered on the areas with rainfall 2500-4000 mm / year. In that area the rubber faces a lot of land competition issues and also the disease that need to maximize the potential of the low annual rainfall area. This research was conducted on citizen plantations in  Aek Godang village, Sihapas Hulu, North Padang Lawas , on March-April 2016, aimed to test the influence of giving mycorrhiza to Osmoregulation PB260 clone rubber seedlings on lands with drought stress that has given an organic matter. This research using random sampling in non-factorial, with mycorrhiza treatment with M symbol that consists of 3 levels ; M0 = without mycorrhiza, M1 = Acaulospora 100g / plant,M2 = Glomus + Acaulospora (1: 1) 100g / plant, with each level of treatment has 9 reiteration. The Variables observed were consist of leaf water potential, osmotic pressure and turgor pressure. The results showed that the distribution of mycorrhiza has a significant effect on the improvement of leaf water potential, but it has no a significant effect on the improvement of turgor pressure of rubber plant.

Abstract

Rubber is one of the biggest commodity plantation featured in Indonesia. The development of the rubber is centered on the area with precipitation 2500-4000 mm/year. On the area of the rubber exposed to the many problem of competition for land and many attacks of the disease so that need to maximize the potential of the area which low rainfall. But also the area has its own problem especially absorption  hara. One effort that can be to resolve the issue is the giving of mycorrhiza and organic materials to increase absorbtion hara on such plants.This research had been conducted populate plantation in the village of Aek Godang, district of Hulu Siapas, regency of Padang Lawas Utara, North Sumatera. In the month March until Juli 2016. Aimed to the test the influence of mycorrhiza toward absorption of Nitrogen (N) and Phosporus (P) the seeds application of the rubber clone PB 260 on the land with the strees of the drought that has been given organic material. Method of this research was non factorial random sampling block design with three treatments, that was M0: Without Mycorrhiza, M1: Accaulospora 100g/Plant, M2 : Glomus+Acaulospora (1:1) 100g/Plant with every treatment there was 10 replicant of the experiment showed that application mycorrhiza enhanced the increase absorption N and P compared to the not aplication mycorrhiza. Abstract

This study aims to map P-Available, P-Total and Cadmium in paddy fields of Pematang Nibung Village, Medang Deras Subdistrict, Batu Bara District, with 109 ha of paddy fields area. This Study  carried out from March to August 2018. The method used in this research was grid survey method that observe the soil are carried out in regular pattern (the interval of observation points is equidistant in the vertical and horizontal directions). So that there are 14 points of 450 m longitude and latitude, analyzed its P-Available nutrient data (ppm) using Bray II  method  with spectrophotometer, P-Total (%) by using HNO3 extraction method with  spectrophotometer and Cadmium (ppm) by using AAS (Atomic  Absorbtion  Spectrophotometer) and interpolated it on maps with QGIS software and correlation analysis with Microsoft Excel. The results showed the distribution of  high  P-Available (53.39-159.06 ppm) nutrient status hara was as much as 109 ha (100 %). Distribution of Medium P-Total (0.06-0.07 %) nutrient status was as much as 26,87 ha (24.65 %), and rather high P-Total (0.09-0.10 %) was as much as 21.87ha (20.06 %), and high P-Total (0.11-0.13 %) was as much as 60.26 ha (55.28 %). Distribution of (0.01-0.05 ppm) uncontaminated Cadmium was as much as 109 ha (100 %). The analysis of P-Available correlation coefficient value was very weak related and not significant for P-Total which is 0.90. The analysis of P-Available correlation coefficient value is weak related and not significant for Cadmium which is -0.32. The analysis of P-Total correlation coefficient value was very weak related and not significant for Cadmium which is 0.10.
