Abstract

Backgrounds: Genu MRI examination, according to Moeller (2003) and Westbrook (2008), was done by one fat supression technique in every slice. Radiology Installation of PAU dr.S.Hardjolukito Yogyakarta Hospital used two types of fat suppression technique those are STIR and T2-SPAIR. This study aims to find out the image differences between STIR and T2-SPAIR and to determine the fat suppresion technique that produces better image information of axial genu MR imaging.Methods: This research was a quantitative research with an experimental approach. Subjects of this study was image of axial genu MRI examination between STIR and T2- SPAIR in Radiology Installation of PAU dr.S.Hardjolukito Yogyakarta Hospital. The axial genu MR imaging STIR and T2-SPAIR assessed by three radiology phisicians using questioner. Data were statistically analyzed using Wilcoxon Sign Test.Results: The results showed a significant difference in all categories of assessment criteria between STIR and T2-SPAIR. In this study, the T2-SPAIR fat suppression technique produced better image information than STIR, whereas T2-SPAIR fat suppress signals was stronger than STIR.Conclusion: T2-SPAIR fat suppress signal was stronger than STIR that showed better image information and shorter time scanning

Abstract

Background : Research on the difference comparison the value of Signal To Noise Ratio (SNR) at MRI Ankle Joint examination using Quad Knee Coil and Flex/Multipurpose Coil at the hospital's radiology installation Telogorejo Semarang. Quad knee coil is a volume coil, is a coil that can act as a transmitter and receiver at the same RF signal (transreceiver). Flex / Multipurpose Coil is a surface coil which has a high SNR for a superficial examination (a small organ). The purpose of this research is to know comparison the value of signal to noise ratio (SNR) and higher the value of signal to noise ratio (SNR) at MRI Ankle Joint examination using Quad Knee Coil and Flex / Multipurpose Coil.Method : This type of research is quantitative experimental approach. The research data which 6 samples. Rate includes images subjectively talocalcaneal interosseous ligament, talocrural joint, subtalar joint, the calcaneus, tibia, talus, and the Achilles tendon. Then the results of the data in Paired T-Test tested.Results : Test results that there are differences in comparison the value of signal to noise ratio (SNR) at MRI Ankle Joint examination using Quad Knee Coil and Flex / Multipurpose Coil which has a p-value / sig for all of 0.002, and each criterion that have talocalcaneal interoseous ligament p value 0.026, talocrural joint p value 0.017, subtalar joint p value 0.001, calcaneus p value 0.002, tibia p value 0.003, talus p value 0.006, and achilles tendon p value 0.012. This is in accordance with the calculated average value SNR on the use of Quad Knee Coil is higher at 110.67 because the coil acts as transreceiver and has two preamplifier so as to improve the SNRConclusion : There is a differences in comparison the value of Signal To Noise Ratio (SNR) at MRI Ankle Joint examination using Quad Knee Coil and Flex / Multipurpose Coil.

Abstract

Background: In brain MR angiography examination, there are many clinical situations where the radiologist want to optimal suppression of stasionary nuclei. So stationary nuclei and flowing nuclei will produce a good contrast. One of the most commonly used method brain MR angiography o is a 3D TOF because it can show  the blood vessels by hyperintens with more hypointens of background. Parameters TR and flip angle is one of the parameters that will determine a stationary nuclei experiencing well suppression and the flowing nuclei will still generate a signal that more hyperintens. The purpose of this study is  to determine the influence of time repetition and flip angle of the anatomical information of 3D TOF brain  MRA examination, and also to determine value the time repetition and flip angle best to display anatomical information of 3D TOF brain MRA examination.Methods: This research is an experimental approach to the pre-experimental research design and post-test only research design. This research was conducted in Bintaro Premier Hospital. The data in the form of 54 3D TOF brain MRA images of 6 volunteers with nine variations time  repetitions and flip angle. Assessment  anatomical information performed by the two respondents. The data analysis  by  testing the influence is multiple linear regression to determine the value of time repetition and flip angle optimal use Friedman mean rank test.Result: The result showed that there is the influence of time repetition and flip angle of the anatomical information on 3D TOF brain MRA examination with a significance value  p 0.001 (p 0.05). The time repetition 30 ms and flip angle 30o is and optimal value for anatomical information showing 3D TOF brain MRA examination. Application of time repetition 30 ms and flip angle 30o can be properly saturate or suppression the stationary nuclei so that is displays excellent contrast between the nuclei. Conclution: There are influence of  time repetition and flip angle to   anatomical information  of  3D TOF  brain MRA examination with a significance value of  p 0.001 (p 0.05). The time repetition 30 ms and a flip angle of 30o is an optimal value for anatomical information showing 3D TOF brain MRA examination.

Abstract

Background: The existence of a foreign object in the body generally can interfere with the metabolism of the body, so it can be life-threatening. Therefore it is necessary to take medical action in the form of surgery as soon as possible and precisely with x-ray examination as the guiding. With the development of the use of CR modalities, the method of determining foreign objects with the tools in the CR is considered, which is then called the quadrant method. And this study aims to explain the procedure and then the results are compared with the triangulation method which is a method of determining the depth of foreign objects previously used.Methods: The type of research carried out is exploratory description research with an experimental approach. Where the radiograph was made in cases of foreign objects with 2 methods, namely the triangulation method and quadrant method using CR. First made phantom organ femur, humerus, and thorax in which a foreign object is placed in it. The position of a foreign object is actually measured first and then the results of measuring the depth of a foreign object using the quadrant and triangulation method are compared with the results of the measurement of the actual foreign object.Results: The results showed that the making of radiographs with quadrant methods as well as triangulation methods both used 2 exposures with an x-ray so that the radiation exposure factor obtained by patients in both methods was not much different. Whereas from the comparison of the results of the measurements of the two methods it was found that the triangulation method was better than the quadrant method with smaller measurement differences when compared with the actual measurement of foreign objects. This is because the triangulation method has displayed measurement results based on a formula that uses mathematical calculations by calculating the distance and magnification of objects. And this is not obtained in the quadrant method where measurements are based on the data presented on the CR monitor screen without calculating the distance and magnification of the object first.Conclusion: Radiographic examination procedure determines the depth of foreign matter quadrant method using a computer Radiography is carried out with two projections namely anteroposterior and lateral. While the difference in the depth of the foreign body quadrant method with the depth of the foreign body is actually found that the accuracy of the measurements carried out by the triangulation method is better than the measurements carried out by the quadrant method

Abstract

Background : MRCP is an examination used to evaluate the system billiary, pancreas and gall bladder with channel because of the possible presence of stones, tumors and other diseases. To diagnose the MRCP examination,one sequence in use is T2 weighted Turbo Field Echo Balance (T2W BTFE) which in its parameters No Sensitivity Enchoding (SENSE). The purpose of this study was to determine the Information analysis Anatomical differences with variation of Sensitivity Encoding (SENSE) on T2-weighted sequences BTFE the MRCP examination, And to investigate value Sensitivity Encoding (SENSE) optimal T2-weighted sequences BTFE the MRCP examination.Methods : The method of this research is experimental with approach quasi-experimental design with control. This research is done in Siloam Hospital Surabaya. MRCP image data in the form of axial 40 of the 10 patients with 4 variation of Sensitivity Encoding (SENSE), which are 1.4, 1.6, 1.8, and 2. Assessment of information image data done by 3 respondents. Analysing process done with Friedman test.Results : The results showed that there MRCP image information differences with variation in sensitivity encoding (SENSE) on T2-weighted sequences BTFE with a significance level of p value 0.001. Differences in image information occurs in liver, Gall Blader, Pancreas and CBD (Common Bile Duct). The use value Sensitivity Encoding (SENSE) on T2-weighted sequences for optimal BTFE MRCP is a 1.8 with a mean rank 3.85.Conclusion : The optimal use value Sensitivity Encoding (SENSE) on T2-weighted sequences for optimal BTFE MRCP is a 1.8.

Abstract

Interprofessional Collaboration program is Community Service Health Polytechnic Semarang organized by collaboration between the Department /Major environment in Ministry of Health Polytechnic of Semarang. Indonesian society in order to achieve a healthy and prosperous required equitable national development efforts in all aspects of life including health.. Data 2014 of the Health Profile Semarang City Health Office showed the prevalence of maternal and infant mortality in the Region Health Center Bangetayu Genuk District of Semarang. Therefore, there should be collaborative efforts between the Department in order to take part in activities carried out in an integrated and sustainable. Thus, the Ministry of Health Polytechnic Semarang gait may be integrated through interprofessional collaboration activities to help solve health problems, especially in the area of urban village Puskesmas Bangetayu ie Bangetayu wetan Genuk districts of Semarang. With these activities, the public is expected to know the role of ultrasound examination and determine the usefulness of ultrasound examination, benefit of ultrasound examination in pregnancy (antenatal care) in efforts to reduce maternal and infant mortality. Ultrasound examination can be performed by medical indications to get the full data will be the condition of the fetus in the mother's womb. Usually done 3-4 times during pregnancy.

Abstract

Kelurahan Mangunharjo Tembalang merupakan salah satu kelurahan di Kota Semarang yang memiliki keadaan geografis yang terdiri dari perbukitan sehingga sangat indah dan potensial menjadi hunian masyarakat karena cukup sejuk di wilayah kota Semarang. Akan tetapi, karena letaknya cukup jauh dari pusat kota, menjadikan kota ini menjadi wilayah pengembangan pemukiman sehingga sebagian besar wilayah digunakan sebagai perumahan baru. Untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang sehat di wilayah tersebut diperlukan upaya pemberdayaan masyarakat guna menciptakan kampung sehat di wilayah Mangunharjo. Salah satu bentuk kegiatan yang mendukung hal tersebut yaitu pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui pelatihan diversifikasi pemberian PMT. Metode yang dilakukan pada kegiatan ini adalah dengan pendekatan pelatihan, dilanjutkan dengan implementasi program dengan melakukan pendampingan dan selanjutnya setiap tahapan waktu akan dilakukan evaluasi untuk mendapatkan umpan balik dan upaya peningkatan selanjutnya. Secara umum kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di Kampung Sehat Mangunharjo ini sudah berjalan dengan lancar dan dirasakan manfaatnya oleh kader.

Abstract

Kelurahan Meteseh adalah salah satu Kelurahan yang berada di wilayah Kecamatan Tembalang Semarang. Secara demografis memiliki banyak potensi, diantaranya bidang peternakan sapi, perikanan, pertanian dan kewirausahaan yang dapat dioptimalkan dalam usaha untuk pembangunan Kelurahan untuk meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat Kelurahan tersebut. Masyarakat memandang masalah sampah menjadi hal yang patut diprioritaskan mengingat pengelolaan sampah melalui bank sampah dapat berimbas baik secara ekonomi, kesehatan maupun lingkungan pada masyarakat sekitar. Salah satunya adalah Prodi D-IV Teknik Radiologi Jurusan Teknik Radiodiagnostik Dan Radioterapi Politeknik Kesehatan Kemenkes Semarang yang memiliki tanggung jawab dalam pelaksanaan tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi dalam wujud pengabdian kepada masyarakat.Kegiatan ini merupakan stimulan yang dilakukan melalui pemberdayaan kepada masyarakat melalui pembentukan dan pendampingan pentingnya Bank Sampah sebagai salah satu wadah untuk pengelolaan sampah yaitu dengan terbentuknya Bank Sampah Mulia sejahtera di Kelurahan Meteseh Kecamatan Tembalang Kota Semarang. Dengan slogan mengubah sampah menjadi Berkah. Harapan kami, nantinya kegiatan ini dapat ditindaklanjuti oleh warga untuk pemilahan dan pengolahan sampah. Sehingga, dapat terwujud masyarakat yang bersih, sehat dan sejahtera.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out information differences in image between two techniques from MRI 0,3 . Hopefully, it will be useful for radiographers to produce high quality post contrast images. Samples of this research were 30 patients having MRI brain tumor examination then were set with 2 sequences (spin echo and fast spin echo). Result was analized by using questionnaire observed by 3 radiologist. Data were then analized with Mann-Whitney and description of images was given. Result indicated that There were statistically differences between spin echo and fast spin echo post contrast T1 weighting image. Result showed that there were differences in post contrast T1 weighting image quality between spin echo and fast spin echo sequence. Statistically, with mann whitney test the differences were significant, with p value 0,000 (p less than 0,5).

Abstract

Campus managers must be sensitive to consumers in the marketing process, students are importantassets in college life, strategies and regular promotions have a correlation with the number of registrants.Data analysis for 5 years from 2013 to 2017 provides precise accuracy every year and can be used as areference for predicting new student admissions in the following year. The growth in the number of newstudent admissions has an impact on providing lecture halls and improving services. One method forresearch related to the right prediction is to use non linear regression analysis.The results of predictions with non linear regression analysis indicate an increase in the number ofregistrants and decreases each year.AbstrakPengelola kampus harus sensitif terhadap konsumen pada proses pemasaran, mahasiswa adalah asetpenting dalam kehidupan Perguruan Tinggi, strategi dan promosi reguler mempunyai korelasi terhadapjumlah pendaftar. Analisis data selama 5 tahun dari tahun 2013 sampai dengan 2017 memberikan akurasiyang tepat setiap tahunnya dan bisa dijadikan acuan prediksi penerimaan mahasiswa baru pada tahunsetelahnya. Pertumbuhan jumlah penerimaan mahasiswa baru berdampak pada penyediaan ruang kuliahdan peningkatan pelayanan. Salah satu metode untuk penelitian berkaitan dengan prediksi yang tepatadalah menggunakan analisis regresi non linear.Hasil prediksi dengan analisis regresi non linier menunjukkan adanya peningkatan jumlahpendaftar maupun penurunan setiap tahunnya.
