Abstract

Religious education plays a remarkable role for  developing humans’ morality. Therefore, in the National Development  of Indonesia, religious education posses a chief position. This important position is implemented in schools throughout Indonesia, from elementary level to university level , both schools based on religious teaching and those based on secular one. For instance, at the elementary religious school, religious education has become one of  nationally-tested subject. However,  Islamic education at this level of education is considered to be abortive since pupils of this school  are still unable to practice their religious teaching in their daily life. Based on this, efforts to enhance the quality of religious education at this  basic level of education must be made. What kinds of efforts should be made for that purpose, will be elaborated in this artikel.                Kata Kunci:  Mutu pendidikan agama, Madrasah Ibtidaiyah

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to determine, analyze and reveal whether the character education policy can be implemented effectively at UIN Datokarama Palu. Qualitative research method. The research location is at Datokarama State Islamic University Palu. Informants as many as 7 people were selected purposively. Data collection was conducted using interview, observation and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The theory that is used as a reference in this research is the theory of George C. Edward III (2010: 96-110) by looking at four factors of successful policy implementation, namely communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. The results showed that only three factors were quite effective, namely communication, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. Meanwhile, the resource factor tends to be less effective because of the four resource elements studied, two elements are ineffective, namely the quantity of staff (human resources) is relatively minimal. Similarly, the facilities that are expected to support the successful implementation of character education policies are still not in accordance with the demands of the needs. The causal factors include the limited formation of new lecturer appointments and the natural disasters of the earthquake, tsunami and liquefaction that hit the Datokarama Palu State Islamic University Campus. Novelty in this research is that the implementation of character education policies is not only seen as the implementation of the main tasks of the implementers but also interpreted as a worship that can be a source of jariah charity.

Abstract

Peran perempuan dalam meningkatkan pendidikan di masyarakat desa di Indonesia sangat penting, mengingat tantangan yang dihadapi daerah pedesaan dalam hal akses dan kualitas pendidikan. Perempuan sering menjadi penggerak utama dalam memotivasi anak-anak, khususnya perempuan, untuk tetap melanjutkan pendidikan meskipun terbatasnya fasilitas dan norma sosial yang membatasi peran mereka di luar rumah. Di perkotaan, meskipun akses pendidikan lebih baik, perempuan masih menghadapi ketimpangan dalam partisipasi pendidikan tinggi dan kesetaraan kesempatan kerja. Di desa, angka partisipasi pendidikan perempuan cenderung lebih rendah, dengan banyak yang terhenti di pendidikan dasar atau menengah karena kurangnya dukungan keluarga, beban ekonomi, atau norma sosial. Keberhasilan peningkatan pendidikan perempuan di desa sangat bergantung pada kebijakan yang mendukung akses pendidikan setara, seperti pemberian beasiswa dan peningkatan infrastruktur pendidikan. Dengan demikian, pendidikan perempuan di desa tidak hanya penting untuk pemberdayaan individu, tetapi juga untuk pembangunan sosial dan ekonomi yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan di Indonesia. Untuk itu, diperlukan intervensi holistik yang mencakup perubahan sosial dan kebijakan yang mendukung pengakuan atas peran perempuan dalam pendidikan.
