Abstract

Currently, the use of materials in the engineering world is growing which encourages researchers from students, companies, to professors in various parts of the world to compete to find the best and environmentally friendly materials and can be recycled (biodegradable). One of them is to make composites from natural fibers as the main material, easy to obtain, high strength, and durable. In this study, the aim of this research is to influence the variation of fiber volume fraction and matrix on the mechanical properties of waste human hair fiber and coconut coir with an epoxy matrix. The method in making this composite uses the hand-lay-up method with a number of variations of 2 specimens each. The volume fraction variations that will be carried out in this study are 5% human hair: 5% coconut fiber: 90% epoxy matrix and 7.5% human hair: 7.5% coconut fiber: 85% epoxy matrix with the test used to test impact ASTM D256. The fiber from human hair itself is obtained from salon waste and the coconut coir itself is obtained from a seller of coconut ice which is dried and then the fiber is taken. Human hair fiber was chosen because it has protein ingredients that cannot be completely decomposed and coconut itself was chosen because it contains cellulose which is capable of having high tensile strength and tenacity. The results of the composite study of a mixture of human hair fiber and coconut fiber showed that the impact test had the best chance in energy and impact value at the volume fraction of 10%: 90%, respectively, 37.7 J and 0.72 J/mm2

Abstract

Changes in temperature can affect the accuracy of the estimated SoC value based on voltage. In this study, fuzzy logic was implemented to correct the SoC estimation error caused by the influence of temperature. The system acquired data through sensors and then processed it using the Arduino microcontroller. Parameters in the form of voltage, temperature, and current were processed by Arduino with a fuzzy logic program which was uploaded into it and produced the output of the estimated SoC value. From the observations, it was found that the estimated SoC value from this method had better accuracy with a smaller error than the SoC estimation based on voltage alone. Using the RMSE method, the errors calculated in this method in the process of charging and discharging without running were 2.26 and 7.74, while the SoC estimation error based on voltage alone reached 4.88 and 12.8. In the discharging process with a running car, the SoC estimation results using fuzzy logic also showed accurate results. There was only 1% of SoC value increasing pattern during the discharging process, which the value trend should continue to decrease and should not be an increase. In addition, compared to the previous method applied to the same research object, namely the chemical equilibrium constant method, this method also showed more accurate results.

Abstract

Pada tahun 2019 telah terjadi sebuah wabah penyakit yakni virus  COVID 19. Di Indonesia terjadi peningkatan penularan COVID 19 yang sangat signifikan hingga awal maret 2020, yang  membuat pemerintah memberlakukan sistem pembatasan sosial berskala besar (PSBB)  pada provinsi yang banyak terpapar  virus COVID 19 khususnya di Kalimantan Tengah dan beberapa wilayah yang ada di indonesia. Hal ini menyebabkan proses pembelajaran secara tatap muka harus ditiadakan untuk sementara yang mendorong pelaku pendidikan pembelajaran untuk melakukan pembelajaran secara online. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, guru dan siswa diwajibkan melakukan pembelajaran secara online, meskipun pada dasarnya belum pernah dilakukan pembelajaran secara online. Menganalisis seberapa efektif pelaksanaan sistem pembelajaran secara online menggunakan google classroom dari sudut pandang siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah pengambilan data dengan membagikan angket secara online, dari pengabdian diambil sampel 32 siswa dari SMK Negeri 3 Palangka Raya. Hasil yang didapat yaitu pembelajaran online telah terlaksana dengan baik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan belajar mengajar tetap dapat dilakukan dengan efektif meskipun tidak bertatap muka. Masih diperlukan usaha ekstra dari pemerintah dan segala pihak yang berkaitan agar siswa dapat melaksanakan pembelajaran online secara efektif. Siswa juga perlu dibekali agar terbiasa menggunakan teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the quality of education at MAN 1 Bandung through the implementation of madrasah culture based on the 2020 Education Unit Accreditation Instrument (IASP). The approach used is strategic management, which allows for the identification, analysis, and implementation of effective strategies to achieve educational goals. This study examines the extent to which the existing madrasah culture can support the improvement of educational quality, as well as how strategic management can be applied to maximize accreditation results. The findings indicate that the implementation of madrasah culture in accordance with IASP 2020, combined with appropriate strategic management, can significantly enhance the quality of education at MAN 1 Bandung.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an electric vehicle conversion kit module as a vocational learning tool at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Surakarta. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D), which includes the design, production, and trial phases of the module. Evaluation was conducted through concept comprehension tests and practical skill assessments before and after using the module. The results indicate that the electric vehicle conversion kit module significantly enhances students' understanding and skills related to Electric Motorized Vehicles (KBL) technology. Furthermore, the study's findings were published in a national ISSN journal and mass media. As an additional output, a copyright for the module was obtained, demonstrating its innovative contribution to vocational education and electric vehicle technology.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether the Iqro reading method influences the improvement of tajwid knowledge among female students at Pondok Pesantren Hidayatul Mubtadiin Jati Agung, South Lampung, in the 2024/2025 academic year, as well as to measure the extent of its influence. This research employs a quantitative method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The instruments used in the study include questionnaires and cognitive tests in the form of multiple-choice and essay questions. The data analysis techniques involve prerequisite tests, including normality and linearity tests, as well as hypothesis testing using simple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Iqro reading method significantly influences the improvement of tajwid understanding among female students at Pondok Pesantren Hidayatul Mubtadiin Jati Agung, South Lampung, in the 2024/2025 academic year. This is evidenced by the increase in students' learning outcomes after being taught using the Iqro method, where all students showed post-test scores above 70. The results of the simple linear regression analysis also show a strong level of significance, with an R Square value of 63.1%. The Iqro method, delivered in a gradual, systematic, and interactive manner, enables students not only to understand tajwid theoretically but also to apply it practically in reading the Qur'an. Question-and-answer activities, reading assessments by the ustadzah, and the habit of identifying tajwid rules before reading make the learning process more meaningful and have a real impact on improving students' abilities. Therefore, the Iqro reading method can be considered an effective alternative for enhancing tajwid understanding in Qur'anic learning within Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan strategi pengurus putri dalam meningkatkan ketertiban shalat berjamaah di kalangan santri putri Pondok Pesantren Hidayatul Mubtadiin Lampung Selatan. Shalat berjamaah merupakan salah satu bentuk pembiasaan ibadah yang menjadi indikator kedisiplinan dan ketaatan seorang santri terhadap ajaran agama. Namun dalam pelaksanaannya, ketertiban santri putri dalam mengikuti shalat berjamaah masih memerlukan perhatian khusus agar dapat berjalan optimal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian meliputi pengurus putri, santri putri, serta ustadzah pembimbing. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis interaktif yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, dengan validitas data diperoleh melalui teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang diterapkan oleh pengurus putri dalam meningkatkan ketertiban shalat berjamaah meliputi pemberian motivasi dan arahan secara rutin, pemberlakuan jadwal piket shalat berjamaah, penegasan sanksi bagi yang melanggar, serta pendekatan personal kepada santri yang kurang disiplin. Selain itu, pengurus juga berupaya menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung agar santri merasa nyaman dan termotivasi untuk mengikuti shalat berjamaah secara tertib. Meskipun terdapat beberapa kendala seperti kurangnya kesadaran sebagian santri dan keterbatasan waktu kegiatan, secara keseluruhan strategi tersebut efektif dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan santri putri dalam melaksanakan shalat berjamaah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah (MBS) dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan Islam di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Nurul Falah. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian meliputi kepala madrasah, guru, siswa, dan orang tua siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan MBS di MI Nurul Falah memberikan otonomi lebih besar kepada sekolah dalam mengelola sumber daya dan pengambilan keputusan, yang berdampak positif terhadap mutu pendidikan Islam. Partisipasi aktif guru dan orang tua dalam perencanaan dan pelaksanaan program sekolah serta peningkatan kompetensi guru melalui pelatihan rutin merupakan faktor penting dalam keberhasilan penerapan MBS. Selain itu, pengembangan sarana dan prasarana seperti ruang kelas yang nyaman, perpustakaan yang lengkap, dan laboratorium yang memadai juga berkontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran. Namun demikian, penerapan MBS di MI Nurul Falah masih menghadapi beberapa tantangan, antara lain keterbatasan dana dan perlunya peningkatan dukungan teknologi. Meskipun demikian, dengan komitmen dan kerjasama yang kuat dari semua pihak, tantangan tersebut dapat diatasi, dan penerapan MBS dapat terus ditingkatkan untuk memberikan manfaat lebih besar bagi pendidikan Islam di madrasah. Kesimpulannya, penerapan Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah di MI Nurul Falah telah memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan Islam, baik dalam hal prestasi akademik siswa, keterlibatan dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, maupun sikap dan perilaku siswa. Dengan terus mengembangkan partisipasi aktif, meningkatkan kompetensi guru, dan mengatasi tantangan yang ada, MI Nurul Falah dapat terus meningkatkan mutu pendidikannya dan menghasilkan lulusan yang berkualitas tinggi
