Abstract

Kata Kunci: elektronika analog, asisten praktikum, efektivitas Abstract The existence of skilled and competent practicum assistants can support the success of the practicum learning process and help students so that the difficulties faced can be resolved, so this study aims to determine the effectiveness of assistance between the two classes described descriptively. The method used in this research is qualitative-descriptive. The results of this study are the difficulty level of class A students in the easy category with a percentage of 39.0% choosing the easy category. Meanwhile, class C students experienced a level of difficulty when doing practicum up to 44.1% in the difficult category. The use of practicum assistants proved to be very helpful for students in its implementation. This can be seen through the practicum success factor diagram which shows that the role of the assistant is the same as the role of the lecturer by 19.8%. Based on this, it can be concluded that the contribution of practicum assistants has proven effective in learning analog electronics in the classroom. Keywords: analog electronics, practicum assistant, effectiveness

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of feasibility and effectiveness of the e-module PjBL model that integrates Local Wisdom. The type of research conducted is development research with the 4D model, which includes Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate.. The samples used were 36 students for limited testing and 3 MIPA XI classes consisting of 108 students for field testing which were divided into experimental classes, control class 1, and control class 2. The instruments used included e-modules, lesson plans, pretest-posttest questions, learning independence questionnaires and student response questionnaires. The data obtained were analyzed using inferential statistical analysis and descriptive analysis. Based on the analysis of validation of experts, practitioners and student response questionnaires, the results showed that the developed e-modules were feasible to use in improving concept understanding and learning independence. Based on the field test, the developed e-module is effective to be used in improving students' concept understanding and learning independence.

Abstract

One of the important skills that must be mastered in 21st-century learning is communication skills. The facts show that students' communication skills in learning physics, specifically on the topic of global warming, are still low. This research aims to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of the global warming e-book based on problem-based learning (PBL) assisted by PhET interactive simulation to improve students' communication skills. The type of research used is pre-experimental, with a one-group pretest-posttest research design. The sampling technique is cluster random sampling, the modeling class and the implementation class are randomly selected. This research was conducted on 55 students in class X of high school, consisting of 32 students in the modeling class and 23 students in the implementation class. Data collection techniques are carried out through validation and pretest-posttest. The validation data to determine the feasibility of e-books and communication ability test instruments were analyzed using the V 'Aiken equation. The effectiveness was analyzed using the N-Gain test and to determine the significance of the increase using the ANOVA test with eta squared (effect size) analyzed with the SPSS program. The results of the study show that the validity of the e-book is on very good criteria, so it is worth using. The results of the N-Gain test of the modeling class and the implementation class showed that the use of e-books was quite effective in improving students' communication skills, with an impact size of 0.406 in the modeling class and 0.519 in the implementation class. So, this global warming e-book can be used by physics teachers in physics learning. The limitations of this study include the use of subjects limited to only two classes and restricted time allocation. Therefore, future research is expected to conduct studies on a larger scale and consider time allocation when selecting the learning model.
