Abstract

Since 1980s, environmental issues were increasing, several policies were made im countries as a concern to environment, even the government has the policy about environment. One of the standard used in company related to environment is ISO 14001. PT.APAC INTO CORPORA (AIC) is a textile company which has been implemented the ISO 14001 since 2002 and still can kept the certificate license for 13 years. But, there hasn’t been a study about the success factor of these ISO 14001’s implementation. Several literatures also have different results regarding the internal success factor about the implementation of ISO 14001. This study aims to identificate the internal success factor of the ISO 14001’s implementation di PT.AIC, determine the weight of the internal success factor, and to propose a strategy based on the highest weight. This study used Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to obtain the highest weight then continued with Delphi Method to propose a strategy based on the criteria that have the highest weight. The respondent of this study consist of 5 respondents who understand about the implementation of ISO 14001 in the company and 5 respondents who understand the real condition to propose strategies with Delphi Method. The result of this study are the weight of internal success factor of ISO 14001’s implementation and the recommendation strategies based on the weight.   ABSTRAK Sejak tahun 1980-an isu tentang lingkungan semakin meningkat, beberapa kebijakan dirumuskan di berbagai negara mengenai kepedulian lingkungan bahkan pemerintah memiliki kebijakan tersendiri mengenai lingkungan. Salah satu standar yang digunakan perusahaan berkaitan dengan kebijakan lingkungan adalah ISO 14001. PT.APAC INTI CORPORA (AIC) adalah perusahaan tekstil yang telah menerapkan ISO 14001 sejak 2002 dan mampu mempertahankan selama 13 tahun. Namun belum ada studi lebih lanjut tentang faktor keberhasilan penerapan ISO 14001 ini. Beberapa literatur juga belum memiliki kesepakatan persamaan faktor sukses internal penerapan ISO 14001. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor kesuksesan internal penerapan ISO 14001 di PT.AIC tersebut, menentukan bobot faktor kesukseskan penerapan ISO 14001, dan  melakukan rekomendasi usulan strategi untuk bobot faktor sukses internal tertinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) untuk mendapatkan hasil bobot terbesa, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan Metode Delphi untuk melakukan usulan strategi berdasarkan kriteria yang memiliki bobot terbesar. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 5 responden karyawan yang telah memahami penerapan ISO 14001 di perusahaan untuk Metode AHP, dan 5 responden karyawan yang telah memahami kondisi lapangan perusahaan untuk merancang usulan strategi dengan Metode Delphi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bobot faktor kesuksesan terbesar implementasi ISO 14001 dan rekomendasi usulan strategi untuk bobot pentingnya faktor kesuksesan terbesar.

Abstract

Nowdays COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic has affected almost all countries and has made an effect on the global supply chain in general and food agricultural supply chain in specific. The effect of this pandemic can be cluster by time period as the initial blockade period and as the later period of the pandemic. This new condition made us to pay attention about what differences before, during, and after the pandemic that will occur. The aim of this research are to know not only during the pandemic, but also what may be happen after the pandemic, especially on food agriculture supply chain. In this research we use literature study method which there are 9 articles has been reviewed. We find out that this pandemic not to significantly affect the structure of food agricultural supply chain, but there is a possibility to shorten the food agricultural supply chain if needed.

Abstract

PT. ABC faces a challenge of excessive workload in the Procurement Department, as indicated by a Full Time Equivalent (FTE) value of 2.4. This imbalance poses a risk of decreased productivity and work quality. This study aims to analyze employee workload using the FTE method, identify the factors contributing to workload disparity, and evaluate the effectiveness of this method in determining the optimal number of employees. The FTE method was applied by collecting data on available working time, effective working hours, allowances, and workload standards. The analysis revealed that the imbalance is driven by increased task volume, limited human resources, and job complexity. It is recommended to add one employee to each key position to distribute the workload more evenly

Abstract

The Junior Data Scientist Workshop, conducted on August 25, 2024, was designed to introduce participants to foundational concepts in Data Science and essential data analysis tools, with a focus on the Orange platform. Five students with a keen interest in data science attended the event. The workshop utilized a blend of theoretical instruction and practical application, guiding participants through key processes such as data cleaning, statistical analysis, and data visualization. Post-workshop evaluations indicate that 85% of participants demonstrated a marked improvement in their understanding of Data Science concepts and methods. Despite the participants’ successful application of analysis techniques, several challenges were noted in comprehending complex statistical principles, suggesting a potential benefit from supplementary instructional sessions. This workshop has contributed significantly to advancing participants’ data literacy and analytical competencies, equipping them with critical skills essential for data-driven decision-making

Abstract

PT Dharma Power Ace Multipurpose Vehicles menghasilkan produk motor roda tiga multi porpuse (MP) yang mulai beroperasi pada tahun 2019. Produk tersebut banyak diminati konsumen Usaha Kecil Menengah (UKM) di Indonesia karena dapat digunakan sebagai alat transportasi industry kecil. Meskipun banyak diminati, berdasar penelitian pendahuluan ditemukan beberapa atribut kualitas yang masih perlu ditingkatkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui atribut yang perlu diperbaiki untuk meningkatkan kualitas produk MP, sehinggga dapat bersaing dengan produk pesaing tetapi secara teknis masih feasibel. Dalam kaitan ini perlu diperhatikan persepsi/harapan konsumen guna menentukan prioritas perbaikan. Pengamatan dilakukan pada perioda Oktober 2021-Desember 2021 dengan sampel 100 pengguna. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, brainstorming dan kuesioner. Hasil pengumpulan data kemudian dianalisis menggunakan Service Quality (SERVQUAL), Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) dan Quality Function Deployment (QFD). Hasil SERVQUAL menunjukkan terdapat gap negatif (Gap = -0.37) yang menandakan bahwa kualitas produk MP di bawah ekspektasi pengguna. Temuan IPA menunjukkan sebanyak 3 atribut terletak pada kuadran I (maintain priority) dan 7 atribut terletak pada kuadran II (maintain achievement). Dengan memperhatikan atribut-atribut tersebut, juga aspek teknis serta produk pesaing, dihasilkan leverage factor yang menjadi strategi untuk meningkatkan kualitas produk MP yaitu: penambahan komponen baru, memperbaiki model produk, merencanakan ulang pengaturan komponen.

Abstract

Humanitarian aid relief has been operational since the late 19th century, addressing development and disaster aid cases. The intricate relationship between humanitarian aid relief and the supply chain encompasses various stages, from securing funding to coordinating stakeholders. However, the volatile and uncertain nature of the field poses challenges such as corruption, prolonged funding gaps, and demands for accountability and visibility. This study highlights the critical role of funding and financing in the humanitarian supply chain, emphasizing the underdeveloped state of research on supply chain finance (SCF). The paper aims to investigate the integration of SCF into humanitarian aid relief, utilizing literature reviews from journals, papers, and reports.The findings reveal a correlation between SCF's essential elements—focused on liquidity/cash, operational activities, and engagement among actors. This research proposes a framework, how the humanitarian aid relief sequence and SCF theory should collaborate for effective humanitarian aid supply chain finance (HASCF) practices

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengevaluasi kapasitas produksi PT. XYZ dalam memenuhi permintaan produk Under Bracket 59 yang tinggi menggunakan metode Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP). Berdasarkan analisis data permintaan dan waktu proses produksi di berbagai stasiun kerja, ditemukan bahwa stasiun Heating mengalami kekurangan kapasitas pada bulan April (-9%) dan Agustus (-10%). Sementara itu, stasiun Hammer Blocker, Hammer Finisher, Trimming Profile, dan Trimming Hole mengalami kelebihan kapasitas sepanjang tahun, dengan rata-rata kelebihan masing-masing sebesar 47%, 80%, 69%, dan 75%. Untuk mengatasi kekurangan kapasitas, disarankan untuk merevisi Master Production Schedule (MPS) dan menambah jam kerja lembur. Untuk mengatasi kelebihan kapasitas, disarankan untuk menerapkan pendekatan Just In Time (JIT) dan diversifikasi produk. Implementasi strategi ini bertujuan untuk menjaga keseimbangan antara permintaan dan kapasitas produksi, meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, dan kinerja keseluruhan perusahaan.
