Abstract

The division of­ roles of­ men and women particularly within the scope of the household becomes a crucial problem, especially if it is viewed from a gender perspective. And the extent to which equality is to fulfill a sense of justice for each part--husband and wife--in American households will be studied further.Feminism has changed the lives of American society in many aspects to come an equality so that men and women are in the same position. They eliminate gender role stereotype that classifies the working area into two: public and domestic. Balance position bargaining colors the division of roles in American households.
