Abstract

One form of communication which occurs in the realm of education is in a classroom. In conveying their utterances, teachers not only give information but also have certain intentions. Based on this case, the study aims to analyze the types of utterances of teachers and students who are conservation-minded in their learning interaction at Adiwiyata schools. The research design used was qualitative descriptive. The data was collected by observation method, followed by uninvolved conversation observation technique, recording and taking notes.Furthermore, the data were analyzed using a pragmatic equivalent method with the basic technique to sort the determinants. The results of the study included the utterances types of representative (values of inspiring and honest characters), directive (value of inspiring, humanist, caring and honest characters), expressive (value of innovative and humanist characters), commissive (value of fair character), and declarative (value of inspiring, fair, caring and sportsmanlike characters). The results of this study provide theoretical and practical advantages. Theoretically, this study can find the types of utterances of conservation teachers and students in learning interactions at the Adiwiyata school. The practical advantage of this study is that teachers can use conservation-oriented utterances in conducting their learning interactions

Abstract

Peran pendidik tidak hanya memberikan pengetahuan kepada peserta didik tetapi juga memberikan tauladan kepada peserta didik baik dalam bersikap maupun dalam bertutur. Tuturan yang diujarkan juga perlu memperhatikan cara penyampaiannya agar penutur dan mitra tutur tidak merasa tersinggung. Tindak tutur ekpresif merupakan bentuk ujaran yang mengungkapan perasaan dari penutur kepada mitra tutur. Tujuan penelitian ini yakni mengidentifikasi bentuk dan fungsi tindak tutur ekspresif pendidik dan peserta didik dalam interaksi pembelajaran di SMP Negeri 2 Jati Kudus yang dikaji dalam tataran pragmatik. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian deskripstif kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan pragmatik. Data penelitian berupa penggalan tuturan yang di dalamnya terdapat bentuk dan fungsi tindak tutur ekspresif antara pendidik dan peserta didik dalam interaksi pembelajaran. Sumber data yakni tuturan ekspresif pendidik dan peserta didik, dengan jumlah 36 responden yang terdiri atas 6 responden berasal dari pendidik dan 30 responden berasal dari peserta didik. Pengambilan data melalui observasi. Pengambilan data menggunakan metode simak dan teknik catat. Tahapan dalam pengumpulan data yakni dengan menyimak dan mencatat tuturan, mentranskrip tuturan, pengkodean, dan reduksi atau pemilihan data. Metode padan dipergunakan untuk menganalisis data. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber, metode, dan teori. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bentuk tuturan terdiri atas dua yakni tuturan langsung dan tidak langsung. Bentuk tuturan langsung meliputi, modus deklaratif, imperatif, dan interogatif. Bentuk tidak langsung meliputi, deklaratif-imperatif, dan interogatif-imperatif. Adapun fungsi tindak tutur ekspresif meliputi memuji, mengucapkan terima kasih, mengkritik, dan menyindir, dan permohonan maaf.

Abstract

Speaking skills are one of the language skills that must be mastered by students but some students experience difficulties or obstacles when asked to express opinions or ideas in front of the class. This is motivated by the lack of vocabulary owned by students so that it inhibits students from expressing their ideas. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the rotation trio exchange learning model assisted by spotify popcast media in Indonesian language learning to improve speaking skills. The research method used quantitative quasi experimental method through pretest-posttest control group design by applying probability sampling method through random cluster sampling. The results showed that there was a positive influence on the experimental class after being given treatment, based on the independent sample t-test, the Sig value of speaking skills was 0.045, this value was smaller than the alpha value of 0.05. This is reinforced by the results of the analysis of the average value of the experimental class speaking skills pretest value of 55.82 rose to 72.00 on the posttest.  Thus it can be interpreted that the rotation trio exchange learning model assisted by spotify popcast media is effectively used to improve speaking skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik penggunaan ragam bahasa jurnalistik pada mading SMK Hadziqiyyah, Nalumsari, Jepara. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yakni deskriptif dengan metode penelitian kualitatif. Data penelitian ini berupa teks berita yang ditulis para siswa OSIS dalam majalah dinding digital SMK Hadziqiyyah, Nalumsari, Jepara. Data pada penelitian ini adalah kalimat atau kutipan teks berita pada majalah dinding digital pada SMK Hadziqiyyah Nalumsari Jepara. Teknik pustaka, teknik simak, dan teknik catat merupakan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan peneliti untuk melakukan penelitian ini. Metode penyajian data yakni menggunakan metode informal sedangkan metode analisis data melalui metode analisis kontekstual. Metode ini diterapkan pada data dengan mengkaitkannya pada situasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi kesalahan karakteristik penggunaan ragam bahasa jurnalistik pada mading digital SMK Hadziqiyyah, Nalumsari, Jepara. Ketidaktepatan penulisan Ejaan Yang Disempurnakan (EYD) terdapat pada penulisan huruf kapital, penulisan singkatan, penulisan preposisi di, penulisan afiksasi di-, dan penggunaan kata baku dalam menulis berita pada majalah dinding digital. Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that occurred in Indonesia requires organizers interested in the world of education to have the ability to be creative and innovative so that learning continues. One way is to use technology in learning, one of them online learning. Online learning is different from face-to-face learning then the right strategy is needed so that learning can be understood by learners. Learning that is based on and uses internet media is called digital literacy-based learning, one of which uses Cyber Pedagogy. This strategy are designing, implementing, and evaluating the interactions that occur in cyber learning. The purpose of this study is to describe digital literacy in learning in the era of digitalization through Cyber Pedagogy. The research method used is literature study using a qualitative descriptive approach. The results research showed that Cyber Pedagogy strategies can help learners to think critically about the material obtained from the platforms on technology devices.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the experiences of parents with an English educational background in supporting early childhood English learning. This research used a descriptive method, with the number of participants being 5 parents, with an English educational background, who had children aged 4-6 years in PAUD. Data was obtained from questionnaires sent via the Google Form platform which were analyzed descriptively. The research results show that parental support is in the form of providing various media to introduce English vocabulary, carrying out social interactions by talking with children, and creating 'family time' through watching videos and singing songs together as part of language enrichment at home even though it is not routine. in terms of time. From these findings, it is necessary for parents to be able to utilize a variety of media, increase social interaction, utilize 'family time', integrate learning into routines, develop creativity in learning, play an active role in communication, and be able to support children's language. more effective development at home.

Abstract

Kemunculan konsep e-learning juga tidak terlepas dari adanya pandemi covid-19 yang menyebar hampir di seluruh dunia, termasuk di Indonesia. Karena adanya pandemi covid 19 ini, pembelajaran yang awalnya dilakukan secara konvensional dengan tatap muka harus diganti dengan full online, blended, dan kemudian berganti menjadi full tatap muka lagi. Sehingga guru harus dapat menggunakan berbagai perangkat berbasis teknologi agar pembelajaran dapat tetap berjalan. Padahal, tidak semuanya siap menghadapi perubahan pada pembelajaran. Masih banyak guru yang belum bisa membuat konten pembelajaran yang menarik. Padahal konten yang menarik merupakan nyawa dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran di era pandemi ini. Oleh karena itu, pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini  bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada guru MTs tentang pembuatan konten pembelajaran yang menarik dan inovatif. Metode pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan yakni pelatihan, praktik, dan pendampingan. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini yakni para peserta pelatihan (guru) dapat membuat konten pembelajaran LMS melalui pembuatan video pembelajaran serta para peserta memperoleh pengetahuan dan pengalaman bagaimana membuat konten pembelajaran yang menarik dan inovatif.

Abstract

Banners and billboards are promotional media that are widely used by people to promote their businesses. It is not uncommon for the words or sentences used to influence the reader. However, many banner and billboard makers ignore the rules of writing. This research aims to analyze language errors on banners and billboards in Kudus Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The research data is the use of Indonesian on banners and billboards. The data analysis technique uses the intralingual matching method. The research results found several language errors on banners and billboards including standard word errors, writing foreign terms, writing abbreviations, and writing numbers. By knowing the language errors that arise, it can help writers to be more careful in their writing and must follow the rules or writing rules in the guidelines.

Abstract

Learning media is one of the most successful supports for learning because it helps teachers deliver material more effectively and interestingly, and supports better interaction between teachers and students. Training in creating artificial intelligence (AI)-based learning media for Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah teachers is needed to increase the use of technology and media in accordance with the curriculum and student needs. The aim of this service is to provide training in creating artificial intelligence-based learning media for madrasah ibtidaiyyah teachers. The service method is service learning with four stages, namely, investigation, preparation, action and reflection. The result of the service is that training participants are given material related to artificial intelligence-based learning media, namely Canva, then participants are asked to practice making exercises or quizzes using Canva. The training participants enthusiastically practiced making quizzes with Canva and hope that similar training can be held again.
