<![CDATA[The Kuntau Martial Arts Center in Barikin Village is a facility that accommodates the local community in learning, developing and preserving the local Banjar martial arts. The architectural problem raised in this report is how the design of the banjar’s typical kuntau martial arts center can accommodate training activities and kuntau performances. The concept proposed for the design is the concept of a Cultural Education Recreation with a Vernakular-based Regional Architecture approach. <![CDATA[The Elderly Social Services is a community service institution under the auspices of the Social Service which is intended to improve the welfare of the elderly in their old age. The lack of this institution in the city of Banjarmasin has an impact on the low welfare of the elderly in the city of Banjarmasin. Designing Elderly Social Services in the city of Banjarmasin is expected to improve the welfare of the elderly in the city of Banjarmasin, to help achieve the goal of improving welfare of the elderly. The problem raised in the elderly social services is the design that requires it to be a comfortable home and gives the impression of kinship to its inhabitants. Research using behavioral architectural methods as a reference in designing, so as to produce a Homey concept in buildings to make the elderly feel comfortable and find the meaning of the word back home, in buildings that conceptualize the homey of the elderly will be directed to know each other and make a family impression between them.]]>

<![CDATA[Wetlands are a natural habitat for endemic animals of South Kalimantan, namely proboscis monkeys (Nasalis larvatus). These primates are one indicator in wetlands conservation, but now the status of proboscis monkeys is endangered which means wetlands are naturally also damaged. This makes The Indonesian Proboscis Monkey Friends Foundation worried about the preservation of these primates who are endangered in a side the number of foreign researchers who are interested in proboscis monkeys so it also weakens status proboscis monkeys as endemic animals.The Indonesian Proboscis Monkey Friends Foundation wants the proboscis monkey in South Kalimantan to become an identity in the area along with the wetland ecosystem which is the habitat of proboscis monkeys. Therefore a fundamental problem with the design of the Proboscis Monkey Research Station on Wetlands is how the design of the proboscis research station on wetlands is in harmony with natural conditions around it so that it can become the identity of the region. Settlement the problem was solved through the metabolism-organic method and the visual identity-metaphor method. The metabolism-organic method is the solution to the problem of harmony building with nature, while the visual identity-metaphor method is the solution in the matter of regional identity. Based on the two methods, the concept proposed for this design is the concept of "subject-object interaction" which is realized through the concept of "wetland ecology". This concept of "subject-object interaction and wetland ecology" is a concept that elevates interactions between researchers and wetland organisms such as proboscis monkeys by entering the wetland elements into the design of this research station.]]>

<![CDATA[Depression is a medical condition that negatively impacts a person’s thoughts, actions, feelings, and mental health. Depressed individuals tend to feel trapped in a hopeless condition, no help, full of rejection, feeling worthless, which encourages the sufferer to commit suicide. According to data from The Ministry of Health shows that the prevalence of mental emotional disorders in people aged over 15 years in South Kalimantan has increased. In addition, South Kalimantan only has facilities for people with severe mental illness, there are no special facilities to treat people with mental disorders especially depression. There are many young people who have depression however, not much of them asking for professional help because of stigma among society and a lack of understanding, preventing people with depression from getting proper help. Design of Youth Treatment Center applied method gestalt psychology and space perception concept. This design is to provide a treatment for depression adolescents that can change stigma and increase public awareness of mental health.]]>

<![CDATA[Proboscis monkey is mascot animal of South Borneo that is going through population decrease and considered as endangered animal. There is required effort with aim to preserving these animals. One of the conservation programs that can be implemented is nature based-tourism development with proboscis monkey as the object. In order to support this program, a proboscis monkey conservation based-ecotourism is designed with aim to educate about importance of proboscis monkey preservation. The designed object spread on two points, that is Muara Kanoco Village and Curiak Island that had been appointed by SBI as ecotourism area. This ecotourism emphasize on educative concept with human-nature symbiosis method. Educative concept is making the nature as learning space, while human-nature symbiosis is making human and nature have a good reciprocal relationship..]]>

<![CDATA[Sungai Baru is a settlement of the home industry for ketupat, lontong, and nipah handicrafts which is traversed by the Martapura River, one of the biggest rivers in Banjarmasin City. However, the existence of this home industry has decreased which impacts the economic conditions of the residents. Therefore, Sungai Baru area has the potential to be used as a tourist area that can increase the existence of home industries of ketupat, lontong, and nipah handcrafts to maintain the Banjar culture. The main of the architectural problem for this study is the protrusion of the identity of the ketupat village which can increase the potential of the area. Through the concept of the Eco-Regionalism program with contextual architectural methods, it is hoped that the tourist area can highlight the characteristics of the Sungai Baru area as a ketupat village by paying attention to environmental and community aspects.]]>

<![CDATA[Indonesia is an archipelagic country rich in cultural diversity, ethnicity and traditions. Culture is a habitual way of life and activities that grows and develops in an environment that is passed down from generation to generation. The move of the national capital from Jakarta to Kalimantan has become a new euphoria for all residents in Indonesia. This became the trigger for the entry of new cultures into Kalimantan. The Dayak tribe, which is an indigenous tribe in Kalimantan, is a tribe that is very rich in culture. However, if it is not addressed immediately the culture of the Dayak tribe can be eroded and threatened by incoming foreign cultures. The Dayak Cultural Center in Tabalong will elevate and increase the attractiveness of Dayak culture, as well as accommodate Dayak cultural activities and activities through the Dayak architectural DNA method as the first face to be seen at IKN with a neo-vernacular architectural concept approach as a form of maintaining Dayak culture.]]>

<![CDATA[Teratai Banjarbaru Kindergarten (TK) is one of the early childhood education institutions located in Banjarbaru. The situation of the Teratai Kindergarten building and environment technically does not meet the standards for facilities and infrastructure for organizing Kindergartens (TK) as regulated in the Regulation of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia number 47 of 2023. The purpose of this activity is to organize the TK building and environment, as well as facilities and infrastructure in accordance with applicable guidelines and standards. The results of the activity are in the form of a Teratai Kindergarten Masterplan, building design and DED. These drawing documents are used by partners to submit funds for the construction of Teratai Kindergarten, and are a requirement in submitting a Building Approval for the construction of the building later.]]>

<![CDATA[Early childhood education is a crucial educational stage which is the optimal-not-optimal background for human development in the future. Early childhood education is also an instrument that every child with different abilities has the right to get and is given the same opportunity to recognize, shape and hone their special abilities. Inclusive early childhood education with universe-based learning methods is a form of learning that is easy to understand in everyday life which also has thematic learning forms so that it can stimulate children's cognitive holistically. PAUD using the Nature School method is also designed to use an architectural program approach in the process. The design includes a natural material base as a learning feature and is followed by a mass arrangement that responds to the site and activity, circulation flow, visual form of the building, color and material.]]>

<![CDATA[Indonesia is experiencing rapid growth in the creative industry, especially in the digital sector. The city of Banjarbaru shows potential as a center for digital creative industries. However, the lack of facilities is still an obstacle. This article discusses the problem: designing a Creative Hub that supports collaboration in the digital creative industry. Using the Blurring Architecture method, which eliminates the boundaries between space and activity, creates flexible space. The history of the Creative Hub shows the importance of this concept in supporting the creative economy and community. This proposes an architectural solution to support the growth of the creative industry in Banjarbaru through a Creative Hub that adopts Blurring Architecture, enabling collaboration and innovation, maximizing the creative potential of Indonesia's young generation.]]>
