Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the level of welfare of street vendors in Sigli City before with after market relocation. The population in this study were all street vendors, totaling 166 street vendors. Sampling is done using the "Census" method. Census method is a method used to examine all the elements in the research area so that the results of the study will be more realistic. To find out the level of welfare of street vendors in the City of Sigli seen from the income obtained by traders before the after market relocation using a different test (t test ) This identified that there had been a decline in the level of welfare of street vendors in the city of Sigli Post-Relocation of their place of sale by the Pidie Government. The decline in street vendors' income after relocation reached almost 50 percent of the previous sales points. The results of verification using a different test show that the count of the output is 87.716 greater than the t table of 2.0086. Ha in this study accepted means that the average income of street vendors before relocation with after market relocation is different.Keywords: Street, Vendors and welfare

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a global economic decline, with economic growth decreasing by 5.2% (World Bank, 2020). The efforts of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) in maintaining security and public order have indirectly contributed to the economic stability. The Research and Development Center of Polri conducted a study on Polri’s role in supporting the national economic recovery and acceleration. This study used mixed-method approach. The quantitative analysis was using the Analytical Hierarchy Process and the qualitative analysis was using Focus Group Discussions. Secondary data was obtained from BPS (Statistics Indonesia), Polri's internal sources, and other documents related to Polri's policies and government policies. Primary data was collected through observations, interviews, discussions, and surveys. The results are: 1) The implementation of activities in each operational function has not yet been directed towards enhancing the economy. 2) Public expectations revealed that 46.76% of respondents believed that the relationship between public security and economic recovery is progressing in line with the challenges, which have been addressed. 3) The Police’s involvement in economic recovery and acceleration requires coordination and collaboration, both within operational functions and with stakeholders. 4) The police's involvement in economic recovery and acceleration should be complemented by improvements in the capacity and capability of its personnel. Challenges requiring active police involvement include: 1) Ensuring a sense of security in economic activities. 2) Economic recovery and acceleration in certain regions indicate challenges such as potential security disturbances caused by youth unemployment.

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that affects the quality of human resources in the future. This study aims to understand the social perspectives on the causes of stunting and its relation to family resilience in Cikembar Subdistrict, Sukabumi Regency. A qualitative approach was employed through in-depth interviews with mothers of stunted children, observations, and document studies. Data were analyzed using Robert Putnam’s social capital theory, which emphasizes the role of social networks, norms, and trust in strengthening family resilience. The findings reveal that social, cultural, and economic factors contribute to stunting, while family resilience is fostered through social support, community solidarity, and family adaptation strategies. This study recommends strengthening social capital at both family and community levels as a sustainable strategy to prevent stunting.

Abstract

Ibadah yang lebih utama dengan memperhatikan kebersihan diri dan tempat ibadah merupakan aspek integral dalam beragam praktik keagamaan. Kebersihan fisik dan lingkungan tempat ibadah bukan hanya merupakan tindakan wajib, tetapi juga mencerminkan penghormatan dan kesucian terhadap aktivitas spiritual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi hubungan antara kebersihan diri dan kebersihan tempat ibadah dengan kualitas ibadah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik kebersihan diri dan tempat ibadah memberikan dampak positif terhadap fokus dan konsentrasi dalam ibadah, serta meningkatkan ketaatan dan kualitas spiritual. Implikasi praktis dari temuan ini adalah pentingnya memperhatikan aspek kebersihan dalam menjalankan ibadah sehari-hari, serta memahami peran penting pemeliharaan kebersihan lingkungan tempat ibadah sebagai bagian integral dari praktik keagamaan yang lebih mendalam.

Abstract

Pengendalian persediaan bahan baku berperan penting dalam menjaga kelancaran produksi dan efisiensi biaya pada perusahaan manufaktur. PT XYZ masih mengalami permasalahan persediaan berupa kelebihan dan kekurangan stok akibat belum optimalnya penentuan prioritas bahan baku dan jumlah pemesanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan pengendalian persediaan bahan baku melalui penerapan metode Always Better Control (ABC) dan Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). Metode ABC mengklasifikasikan 11 jenis bahan baku dan menghasilkan 4 bahan baku kategori A sebagai prioritas pengendalian. Selanjutnya, metode EOQ diterapkan pada bahan baku kategori A untuk menentukan jumlah dan frekuensi pemesanan yang paling ekonomis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan data primer dan sekunder yang bersumber dari sistem Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode EOQ mampu menurunkan Total Inventory Cost (TIC) sebesar 32,1% atau Rp8.113.618 dibandingkan dengan metode perusahaan sebelumnya, sehingga pengendalian persediaan menjadi lebih efisien dan terkontrol.
