Abstract

This study aims to discuss the reflection of the 2024 election on the politicization of religion on social media from the perspective of Fazlur Rahman's double movement theory. This study uses a qualitative approach by applying the descriptive-analytical method. The results and discussion of this study indicate that it is necessary to carry out socio-historical contextualization of religion through Fazlur Rahman's double movement theory, which is known for its dual movements, the socio-historical affirmation must be studied as there is still humiliation of a group which ultimately results in divisions between groups. Of course this has to go back to the socio-historical beginning of the verses of the Qur'an which upheld justice. The verses of the Qur'an instruct humans not to generate hate speech against other people. Talking about the politicization of religion, this must be avoided by the public so that they are not easily provoked by politics in the name of religion. Theoretically and practically, this research is expected to have benefits and usefulness implications as an initial study of reflections on the 2024 Election on the politicization of religion on social media from the perspective of Fazlur Rahman's double movement theory. This study recommends government agencies, religious leaders, and the public not to be easily provoked by politics in the name of religion.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the contradictions in the understanding of hadith regarding khurafat, takhayul, and bid'ah in the book Mafahim Yajibu an-Thussohah by Abuya Sayyid 'Alawi al-Maliki. This study uses a qualitative approach by applying the descriptive-analytical method. The results and discussion of this study indicate that basically, Muslims do not have divisions due to openness or tolerance among people, but understanding the texts of the Prophet's hadith requires an accurate methodology because if the procedure is ignored, a verdict of bid'ah usually results. This study in general concludes that the contradictions in the understanding of hadith regarding khurafat, takhayul, and bid'ah have a big impact if one understands carefully which part of 'amaliyah (deeds) is said to destroy one's actions.

Abstract

This research aims to discuss the urgency of technological adaptation in the era of society 5.0. This research uses a qualitative approach by applying descriptive-analytical methods. The results and discussion in this study show that for people who are not yet technologically literate, they should be literate as soon as possible to adapt, mingle, and cooperate with technology in this day and age. Because if it is not done as soon as possible, it will cause further backwardness in following the development of this era, which is one of the causes of someone's difficulties in living life. Whereas literally, technology itself was created to facilitate human life. Broadly speaking, this research concludes that there are many digital media platforms such as; Facebook Market Place, Instagram Shop, Tik Tok Shop, Shopee, Tokopedia, Lazada, Fiverr, Open Sea, Gojek, and also Grab that can widely market products and services today. Therefore, this study recommends that professional societies who are not yet technologically literate should be technologically literate as soon as possible to adapt to the times, and make innovations and solutions in developing and marketing through digital media that are being widely used in the era of society 5.0.
