Abstract

This study aims to discuss the contradictions in the understanding of hadith regarding khurafat, takhayul, and bid'ah in the book Mafahim Yajibu an-Thussohah by Abuya Sayyid 'Alawi al-Maliki. This study uses a qualitative approach by applying the descriptive-analytical method. The results and discussion of this study indicate that basically, Muslims do not have divisions due to openness or tolerance among people, but understanding the texts of the Prophet's hadith requires an accurate methodology because if the procedure is ignored, a verdict of bid'ah usually results. This study in general concludes that the contradictions in the understanding of hadith regarding khurafat, takhayul, and bid'ah have a big impact if one understands carefully which part of 'amaliyah (deeds) is said to destroy one's actions.

Abstract

This research aims to discuss the community learning container at Zawiyyah Sirr el-Sa'adah Sidamulya by Muqoddam Tijaniyah. This research uses qualitative descriptive method. The results and discussion of this study indicate that the driving teacher has an important and valuable role as a problem solver in society even though it is still limited to the Zawiyah Sirr el-Sa'adah Sidamulya Astanajapura Cirebon community. The learning carried out by the driving teacher, Kang Naqib, is about basic Islamic education, economic empowerment, and an attitude of life full of total surrender to fate. This research concludes that community-based education is a learning platform that prioritizes fundamental issues in society, as played by Muqoddam Tijaniyah in the Zawiyah Sirr el-Sa'adah Sidamulya Astanajapura Cirebon community.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the contextualization of the meaning of QS. an-Nur verse 4-5 on the phenomenon of accusations of adultery on the Twitter social media platform. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive-analytic method. The results and discussion in this study indicate that the contextualization of the flogging law contained in QS. an-Nur verses 4-5 on the phenomenon of accusations of adultery that occur on the Twitter social media platform, its enforcement is adjusted to the attitude of the person who accuses and is accused. If the accusation is proven true and the witnesses and conditions are fulfilled, then the flogging law does not apply. Meanwhile, when the accusation is not proven true, the flogging law is adjusted to the wishes of the accused person. In addition, this flogging law must also be applied when the person accused is male, in other words, not only women. This research recommends to all people who utilize technological sophistication, especially the millennial generation, to always be wise in using social media and be careful in using it.

Abstract

Wahdat al-Wujud (unity of being), contains the belief that humans can unite with God. The concept of one (al-wahid) and many (al-katsir), the Sufis started from the concept of Wahdat al-Wujud (unity of being), the philosophical basis for understanding God in His relationship with nature. This study aims to discuss the controversy over the Wahdatu Ideology of Shaykh Ahmad Mutamakkin. This study uses a qualitative approach by applying a descriptive-analytical method. The formal object of this research is the understanding of Wahdatul Wujud, while the material object is Syekh Ahmad Mutamakkin. The results and discussion in this study show that Syekh Ahmad Mutamakkin's Wahdatul Wujud Controversy cannot necessarily accuse him of being a heretic cleric. This study concludes that Sheikh Ahmad Mutamakkin is a great scholar who owns the book Arsy Al-Muwahidun, which contains teachings on aqidah, fiqh, and tasawuf.
