Abstract

The project-based learning model is deemed to be a student-centered model when applied to learning activities. It undoubtedly opens higher opportunities for students to optimize their abilities, and hopefully, they can achieve the competencies set in the learning objectives. This research, therefore, aims to improve the creative thinking abilities and learning outcomes of third-grade elementary school students in Yogyakarta, assisted by Simlitar Media, through a project-based learning model. The type of research used was classroom action research (PTK). The research subjects were 26 students. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observations, and tests. The data analysis techniques employed were qualitative and quantitative. Based on the results of this research, the project-based learning model could improve students' creative thinking abilities and learning outcomes. From the results of data analysis and discussion in this research, there was an increase in students' creative thinking abilities from the pre-cycle stage to cycle 2, which initially averaged 27% to 88%. The average creative thinking ability of students in one class increased by 61%. Student learning outcomes also increased from the pre-cycle stage to cycle 2. The average completeness of student learning outcomes in the pre-cycle stage was 15%, becoming 88% in cycle 2. The average completeness of third-grade students' overall learning outcomes increased by 73%. Hence, it can be concluded that the application of this learning model accompanied by Simlitar media has been proven to improve creative thinking abilities and student learning outcomes

Abstract

The presence of various learning models is a tool for educators to adapt the learning process based on the demands of the times, one of which is the problem-based learning model. The problem-based learning model is deemed capable of improving problem-solving skills and student learning outcomes; as such, this research aims to determine the increase in problem-solving abilities and learning outcomes of second-grade elementary school students in Yogyakarta in civics lesson content through the problem-based learning model, assisted by cultural branch learning media. This research used the type of classroom action research (CAR). The data analysis techniques employed were qualitative and quantitative. This research also utilized data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and tests. While the subjects of this research were second-grade students, consisting of 25 students, the objects were improving problem-solving abilities and student learning outcomes using the problem-based learning model assisted by learning media. Based on the results of this research, the problem-based learning model could improve students' problem-solving skills and learning outcomes in civics learning content in the second grade of elementary schools, revealing that students' problem-solving skills increased from the pre-cycle stage by 26% to cycle 1 to 64% and then to cycle stage 2 at 78%. Students' problem-solving skills from pre-cycle to cycle 2 increased by 52%. Apart from that, the average student learning outcomes increased, where the average student learning outcomes were 50 in the pre-cycle stage, 73.2 in cycle 1, and 80 in cycle 3. From these data, it can be seen that there has been an increase in student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan dan mendeskripsikan kualitas modul pembelajaran IPAS berbasis HOTS pada materi gaya di sekitar kita. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah research and development (R&D). Penggembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model ADDIE. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, kuesioner, dan tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan ada dua, yakni teknik analisis data kualitatif dan teknik analisis data kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas modul pembelajaran IPAS berbasis HOTS materi gaya di sekitar kita berdasarkan hasil validasi dari 4 validator masuk dalam kategori “sangat baik” dengan penilaian skor rata-rata yang diperoleh sebesar 3,64 dari skor maksimal 4. Kuesioner tanggapan siswa menunjukkan bahwa modul pembelajaran masuk dalam kategori “sangat baik” dengan skor rata-rata yang diperoleh sebesar 3,74 dari skor maksimal 4. Hal ini, menunjukkan bahwa modul pembelajaran IPAS berbasis HOTS materi gaya di sekitar kita dapat memfasilitasi siswa dalam mempelajari gaya di sekitar kita sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa dan modul layak untuk digunakan.

Abstract

Implementasi Pembelajaran Berdiferensiasi dengan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) merupakan pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang berpusat dan berpihak pada peserta didik. Penerapan Model Problem Based Learning berbasis Pembelajaran Berdiferensiasi untuk Meningkatkan Sikap Toleransi didasari oleh gaya belajar yang ditemukan sangat beragam sehingga perlu pembelajaran berdiferensiasi untuk mengatasi keberagaman tersebut agar peserta didik dapat mengoptimalkan potensinya sesuai karakteristiknya serta tumbuhnya sikap toleransi. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena adanya permasalahan di lapangan mengenai kurangnya penerapan sikap toleransi dalam keseharian peserta didik baik selama pembelajaran berlangsung atau diluar kegiatan pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dampak penerapan model PBL dengan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi terhadap peningkatan nilai toleransi peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dimana peneliti memanfaatkan data kualitatif yang diperoleh dari instrumen-instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 27 Peserta Didik Kelas II A. Berdasarkan hasil analisis peneliti menemukan bahwa pengembangan nilai toleransi efektif dilakukan melalui pembelajaran PBL berbasis pembelajaran berdiferensiasi bagi peserta didik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari dampak perubahan perilaku peserta didik dalam pembelajaran serta keikutsertaan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Model pembelajaran PBL berbasis berdiferensiasi dapat meningkatkan nilai toleransi di kelas II A sehingga peserta didik perlahan dapat mengembangkan sikap toleransi terhadap sesama. Abstract

This research aims to improve the collaboration skills and learning outcomes of fifth grade students at Kanisius Elementary School, Kotabaru. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research, including planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this research were fifth grade students at Kanisius Elementary School, Kotabaru. The data collection techniques used are documentation and observation. Data collection instruments include implementation documentation, student learning outcomes and collaboration skills observation sheets. The research results showed an increase in the average student learning outcomes with results of 68.75 in cycle I and 75.75 in cycle II. The increase in average results occurred in students' collaboration skills. Cycle I showed a result of 69.07%, while cycle II showed a result of 78.22%. This proves that differentiated learning using the PjBL learning model can improve the learning outcomes and collaboration skills of class V students at SD Kanisius Kotabaru. With this research, teachers are expected to improve Indonesian language learning outcomes and students' collaboration abilities by considering learning models based on the needs of each student.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana kurikulum IPC (International Primary Curriculum) dan untuk menemukan kelebihan dan kekurangan dari implementasi kurikulum IPC yang ada di SD Cahaya Bangsa Utama Yogyakarta. Selain itu juga bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana integrasi antara kurikulum internasional dengan kurikulum nasional di sekolah Indonesia. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian kualitatif, yang melibatkan kepala sekolah, pengembang kurikulum developer, serta guru-guru dari SD Cahaya Bangsa Utama sebagai subjek penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data mencakup observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa dalam implementasi kurikulum IPC di SD Cahaya Bangsa Utama berjalan dengan baik, hal ini bisa diketahui dari beberapa hal, yaitu pertama dari proses perencanaan implementasi kurikulum IPC dilakukan secara rutin pada awal tahun ajaran dengan melibatkan semua guru yang terlibat melalui workshop khusus sebelum kegiatan belajar mengajar dimulai. Selain itu, guru-guru mampu membangkitkan antusiasme siswa dan menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan. Hal ini tentu dapat meningkatkan partisipasi aktif siswa dalam memahami kurikulum ini. Namun, terdapat kelemahan dalam implementasi kurikulum IPC, dimana sekolah dan guru masih mengalami kesulitan dalam menyelaraskan budaya yang dimiliki oleh siswa

Abstract

One of the works of the Saint Dominic Sister is education. As Indonesian education is shifting in the paradigm, the foundation feels the urgency to equip the education team with the ability to contribute to the Indonesian education trend without losing sight of its vision and mission. One of the Indonesian education trends for teachers is the use of Platform Indonesian Mengajar (PMM - Indonesian Teaching Platform) in which the teachers are expected to take part in developing their portfolio through the platform. By the foundation, this platform is deemed to be in line with the praedicare year I (2024-2025) in which the foundation focuses on making a public declaration. In the effort to announce good practices, preliminary data indicated that few of the school team, who are expected to be role models for other teachers, have actively contributed to PMM. A deeper analysis revealed that the foundation needed to facilitate those teachers to be familiar with the application. To deal with this challenge, a one-day workshop on how to upload the portfolio and what content to be uploaded on the PMM was conducted. The results of the workshop were that all school team in YSD schools were successfully upload their portfolio.

Abstract

This research aims to improve students social skills and students learning outcomes of class IV Kanisius Demangan Baru I Elementary School in social learning through a problem based learning model. This type of research used is Classroom Action Research . The research subjects were 23. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. The data were collected by means of interviews, observations, and test. The data analysis techniques used were qualitative and quantitative. Based on the results of this research, it shows that the problem based learning model can improve students social skills and social learning outcomes in class IV of Kanisius Demangan Baru I Elementary School. Based on the results of data analysis, there was an increase social skills starting from the precycle stage to cycle 2, which initially the average social skills of students was 26% to 78%. The average social skills of students in one class increased 52%. Students learning outcomes also increased, based on preliminary data from pre-cycle to cycle 2. The average completeness of student learning outcomes in the pre-cycle stage was 26% to 78%. Average of social learning outcomes off class IV increased 48%.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesulitan belajar siswa kelas III dalam memecahkan masalah pada materi pengukuran waktu di SD Kanisius Kalasan. Metode deskriptif kualitatif digunakan untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang kesulitan yang dihadapi siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui pengamatan langsung selama pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beberapa siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep-konsep dasar pengukuran waktu, seperti konversi antara satuan waktu, penggunaan skala waktu, dan pemecahan masalah terkait waktu. Faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan kesulitan tersebut antara lain kurangnya pemahaman awal, kurangnya latihan, serta kebingungan dalam memahami instruksi. Hasil dari penemuan ini adalah perlunya pengembangan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan berorientasi pada pemahaman konsep, serta peningkatan peran guru dalam memberikan bimbingan yang tepat kepada siswa.

Abstract

  Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan sikap percaya diri dan kemampuan komunikasi peserta didik kelas III A SD Kanisius Demangan Baru I Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023. Jenis Penelitian ini adalan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari 4 tahap dalam setiap siklus yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Objek penelitian ini berjumlah 18 orang. Pengumpulan data melalui tes dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sikap percaya diri dan kemampuan komunikasi peserta didik kelas III A SD Kanisius Demangan Baru I tahun ajaran 2022/2023 mengalami peningkatan melalui penerapan model problem based learning. Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dengan melihat perolehan persentase pada setiap variabel. Untuk variabel percaya diri pada kondisi prasiklus diperoleh persentase sebesar 42,59 %. Pada siklus I terlihat adanya peningkatan menjadi 62,96 %. Kemudian mengalami peningkatan lagi pada siklus II menjadi 77,77 %. Untuk variabel kemampuan komunikasi pada kondisi prasiklus diperoleh persentase sebesar 47,96 %. Pada siklus I terlihat adanya peningkatan menjadi 62,96 %, dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 81,66 %. Oleh karena perolehan persentase untuk kedua variabel tersebut sudah melebihi 70 %, maka penelitian ini berhenti pada siklus II.  Â
