Abstract

Pemilihan server yang tepat adalah keputusan serius yang menentukan kinerja aplikasi atau situs web. Pemilihan perangkat server merupakan keputusan yang sangat penting bagi infrastruktur TI perusahaan karena melibatkan investasi besar dan parameter teknis yang kompleks. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan metode Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) guna membantu pengambilan keputusan dalam memilih server terbaik dari beberapa alternatif. Metode penelitian menggunakan mixed method, yaitu dengan pendekatan kualitatif untuk menentukan kriteria dan pendekatan kuantitatif untuk menghitung bobot prioritas. Tahapan metode AHP meliputi penyusunan hierarki keputusan, perbandingan berpasangan antar kriteria, perhitungan bobot prioritas, serta pengujian konsistensi melalui Consistency Index (CI) dan Consistency Ratio (CR). Kriteria yang digunakan meliputi harga, spesifikasi teknis, garansi, dan reputasi merek. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kriteria performa menjadi prioritas tertinggi, dan alternatif server A terpilih sebagai solusi optimal dengan nilai konsistensi CR<0.023. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa metode AHP mampu menghasilkan proses pengambilan keputusan yang lebih sistematis, objektif, dan transparan dalam pemilihan perangkat server.Kata Kunci— AHP, Sistem Pendukung Keputusan, Infrastruktur TI, Pemilihan Server.ABSTRACT Choosing the right server is a serious decision that determines the performance of an application or website. It is a critical decision for a company's IT infrastructure, as it involves significant investment and complex technical parameters. This research aims to implement the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to assist in the decision-making process for choosing the best server from several alternatives. The research employed a mixed-method approach, consisting of a qualitative approach to identify and determine the decision criteria and a quantitative approach to calculate the priority weights. The AHP method involved several stages, namely the development of a decision hierarchy, pairwise comparisons among criteria, calculation of priority weights, and consistency testing using the Consistency Index (CI) and Consistency Ratio (CR). The criteria used include price, technical specifications, warranty, and brand reputation. The results indicate that the performance criterion holds the highest priority, and alternative server A was selected as the optimal solution with a consistency ratio CR < 0.023. The results of this reserach demonstrate that the AHP method is capable of providing a more systematic, objective, and transparent decision-making process in the selection of server hardware.Keywords— AHP, Decision Support System, IT infrastructure, Selecting server
