Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that hit countries around the world, including Indonesia, resulted in learning to be done online. One type of online learning application that can be used in online learning is google classroom. Google classroom is a learning application that functions to connect teachers and students in teaching and learning activities such as distributing materials, learning videos and assessing assignments online. This study aims to determine the use of the google classroom application in improving student learning outcomes in the physics course at the Faculty of Agriculture, Bina Insan University. The research method used is a pre-experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design research design. As samples in this study were all students of the first semester of agriculture faculty of Bina Insan University. Data collection techniques using tests. The results of the study showed that learning outcomes using e-learning learning methods using the Google Classroom application on Physics subjects can improve student learning outcomes (N-gain) in moderate criteria.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan bahwa tidak semua anak berkebutuhan khusus mendapatkan alat praktikum fisika untuk membantu siswa memahami materi fisika dengan baik. Oleh karena itu tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah agar anak berkebutuhan khusus dapat memahami materi pembelajaran IPA khususnya fisika dengan menggunakan alat praktikum fisika berbasis peralatan digilat voice equipment (suara). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan model 4D (Four D Model) yang meliputi tahapan Defaine (penafsiran), Design (perencanaan), Develop (pengembangan) dan Deseminate (penyebaran) yang di implementasikan dalam bentuk penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest research. Intrumen penelitian ini berupa: 1) validas ahli, 2) angket respon siswa dan 3) tes Teknik analisis data untuk validasi ahli dan angket respon siswa dianalisis menggunakan skala likert yaitu dengan memberi skor 1 sampai 4 kemudian hasilnya dianalisis untuk mencari rata-rata penilaian dan presentasenya untuk menyimpulkan hasil penilaian. Sedangkan untuk hasil tes digunakan uji n-gain untuk melihat kenaikan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil Penelitian diketahui bahwa validasi ahli dan respon siswa mendapatkan penilaian pada kategori sangat baiak dengan presentase 91,5% dan 85,71%. Sedangkan pada analisis n-gain untuk pembeljaran dengan menggunakan alat praktikum fisika berbasis digital  voice equipment (Suara) dalam pembelajaran IPA-fisika mengalami peningkatan hasil belajar yang signifikan. Peningkatan hasil belajar tersebut dapat dilihat dari nilai n-gain yaitu sebesar 0,54 atau 54% dari nilai maksimum 100.Abstract:  This research was motivated by the problem that not all children with special needs get physics practicum tools to help students understand physics material well. Therefore, the purpose of this study is so that children with special needs can understand learning materials, especially physics, by using physics practicum tools based on voice equipment. This type of research is research and development with a 4D model (Four D Model), which includes the stages of Defaine (interpretation), Design (planning), Develop (product), and Deseminate (deployment), which is implemented in the form of quasi-experimental research with one group pretest-posttest research design. This research instrument is in the form of 1) expert validity, 2) student response questionnaires, and 3) tests. Data analysis techniques for expert validation and student response questionnaires are analyzed using the Likert scale, namely by giving a score of 1 to 4, then the results are analyzed to find the average assessment and percentage to conclude the assessment results. As for the test results, an n-gain test is used to see the increase in student learning outcomes. The study results found that expert validation and student responses received assessments in the perfect category with 91.5% and 85.71% percentages. Meanwhile, the n-gain analysis for learning using digital voice equipment-based physics practicum tools in science-physics learning experienced a significant increase in learning outcomes. The increase in learning outcomes can be seen from the n-gain value, which is 0.54 or 54% of the maximum value of 100.

Abstract

Teaching and evaluation strategies greatly influence success in fostering students' creative thinking abilities. The objectives of this study are to (1) examine various literature on creative thinking; (2) examine various indicators of creative thinking skills; (3) investigate various teaching strategies to improve creative thinking skills and their evaluation instruments. The research method used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The data in the study is in the form of secondary data in the form of research journals that examine the scope of students' creative thinking. Data analysis techniques use Miles and Huberman's model, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The number of articles found was 117 articles using the help of journal indexers such as Scopus, google scholar, Eric, and DOAJ. This study decided to review 36 articles based on the results of data reduction carried out from 117 articles. The conclusion of this study is that studying various proven theories and applying them in the classroom is the most appropriate step as a strategy to improve students' creative thinking skills. These strategies include active learning models such as: based learning projects, cooperative learning, problem based learning, and discovery/ based inquiry.

Abstract

This study analyses the relationship between creative thinking skills and students' science literacy skills. Creative thinking is essential in higher education, especially in Physics learning, which requires solving complex problems. Science literacy includes understanding, application, and the ability to communicate about scientific concepts. This study uses a quantitative method with a correlational approach. The results showed a significant relationship between creative thinking skills and students' science literacy, with a correlation coefficient of 0.85, which showed a positive relationship. These findings indicate that improving creative thinking skills can improve students' science literacy skills.

Abstract

Physics education in college is often faced with the great challenge of conveying abstract concepts such as quantum mechanics and relativity. In response to these challenges, this research developed a Metaverse Learning Space (MLS) that aims to improve the visualization and understanding of these abstract concepts. This research uses the ADDIE development method, which includes five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects consisted of 50 students from the Computer Systems Engineering (RSK) study program at Bina Insan University. Through the use of MLS, pre-test and post-test results show a significant improvement in understanding of physics concepts. The results of the statistical test with the paired sample t-test show that MLS has a positive impact on student understanding. This research contributes to the development of technology-based learning methods to support a deeper conceptual understanding of the field of physics.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk analisis review isi artikel tentang pendidikan karakter dalam pengajaran fisika di indonesia. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data ialah studi pustaka, dengan cara mengumpulkan data-data yang relevan dari jurnal dan tanpa harus melakukan tinjauan ke lapangan. Pencarian artikel dilakukan dengan menggunakan aplikasi publish or perish yang ditautkan langsung ke pencarian Google Cendekia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan kajian pustaka yang ada, dari hasil data penelitian menuinjukkan adanya peningkatan sebesar 87,5% bada bidang kompetensi kognitif stelah dilakaukan pembelajaran fisika berbasis karakter. Temuan lain menunjukkan bahwa kearifan lokal berbasis karakter dalam pembelajaran fisika dapat menjadikan siswa kratif, mandiri dan juga cinta tanah air. Selain itu dengan menerapkan nilai-nilai agama dalam pembentukan karakter siswa melalui pengajaran fisika maka akan semakin menjadikan siswa yang agamis dan saintis.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 yang sempat menjadi sebuah fenomena yang menghebohkan dan mengubah kebiasaan masyarakat dalam berinteraksi, baik dalam kegiatan ekonomi, pendidikan dan sosial. Kondisi ini membuat pergeseran dalam transaksi ekonomi dan berdampak pada para pencari nafkah, salah satunya juga berdampak pada pembudidaya ikan di Desa Triwikaton Kabupaten Musi Rawas. Pembudidaya ikan di Triwikaton kesulitan bersaing dengan hanya menjual ikan nila, permintaan ikan menurun karena pasar tidak menentu akibat ditiadakannya pasar offline dan pembatasan pertemuan. Kondisi ini mendorong kami sebagai dosen untuk melakukan pengabdian, dalam membantu masyarakat untuk mengelola budidaya ikan dimasa pandemi Covid-19. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dalam tiga tahapan. Tahapan pertama adalah survei dan sowan dengan pemerintah desa, kemudian tahapan ke-2 melakukan sharing season dengan pembudidaya, kemudian yang ke-3 adalah tahapan survei untuk melihat kondisi apa yang bisa dilakukan penelitian bersama. Hasil survei dan diskusi dengan pembudidaya ikan di Desa Triwikaton permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah berkurangnya harga jual ikan nila, dan ikan hias mulai naik di saat pandemi. Permasalahan yang dihadapi pembudidaya ikan mas koi adalah budidaya yang dilakukan masih tradisional dengan mengandalkan kolam bekas sawah, kondisi ini tentunya tidak maksimal dalam pemeliharaan ikan hias. Permasalahan yang dihadapi pembudidaya akan dilakukan tindak lanjut berupa penelitian dosen dan mahasiswa kedepannya.
