Abstract

Di era kontemporer ini, lembaga pendidikan Islam sebagian besar masih mengikuti platform keilmuan klasik. tradisi itu mengalami kesenjangan dengan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang telah sangat kuat mempengaruhi peradaban umat manusia. Oleh karena itu, paradigma keilmuan berdasarkan al-Qur'an harus dibangun dengan menjadikan lembaga pendidikan Islam sebagai pilar-pilar yang menyusunnya. Penelitian ini bersumber dari kepustakaan, sedangkan analisis data yang dilakukan, mengingat penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif, maka peneliti akan menggunakan metode analisis interaktif. Hasilnya adalah bahwa paradigma keilmuan ini adalah ilmu dalam konsep sekuler hanya sekedar diorientasikan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan-permasalahan sehari-hari dalam kehidupan seseorang. Namun lain halnya dengan paradigma keilmuan dalam Islam yang selain untuk menyelesaikan persoalan hidup, juga sebagai realisasi ibadah kepada Allah, yaitu tauhid.

Abstract

This article examines the role of Al-Baqiyatush Shalihat Tanjung Jabung Barat—Islamic Jambi's (Boarding School) Pesantren in promoting tolerance and deterring radicalism. When the surrounding environment is so plural with many religions other than Islam, this pesantren remains true to the principles of tolerance and is not fanatical. When the region around the pesantren drew public attention as a hotbed of radicalism and terrorism, the pesantren continued to instill kindness, anti-radicalism, and anti-terrorism. In the fight against radicalism and terrorism, this pesantren collaborates with the local government. In this article, the major question is how the pesantren strategy instills tolerance values in efforts to deradicalize or counter-terrorism acts. The research relied heavily on observation, which was supplemented by interviews with Kyai and Ustadz, students, and neighbors in the vicinity of the pesantren. The Pesantren Al-Baqiyatush Shalihat, according to this study, has the natural ability to oppose radicalism through the use of the Pesantren Al-Baqiyatush Shalihat.

Abstract

This article discusses the tolerance values in Seloko Adat Jambi as one of the treasures ofJambi society. Jambi is known as free conflict area and is classified as a plural societyconsisting of various beliefs, ethnic, cultural, and religious schools of thought. The toleranceof the society is inspired by tolerance values in Seloko Adat Jambi. The aims of this study areto explore the values of tolerance in Seloko Adat Jambi and to show that these values areactualized in their social life. This study uses a content analysis method that explores tolerancevalues in Seloko Adat Jambi texts. The findings show that empathy, friendliness, and respectothers are derivative values of tolerance in Seloko Adat Jambi. In addition, the actualization ofthe values of tolerance is manifested in the ethical awareness of people who tend to respectothers, try to prevent conflicts, resolve conflicts appropriately and thoroughly, and obey therules that exist in society. In conclusion, the Jambi people are accustomed to the values oflocal wisdom which are full of values of tolerance and respect for others. All of these thoughtshave shaped them into a society that avoid fanatical, extreme, and hostile attitudes.

Abstract

The objectives of this study include: (1) To find out how the implementation of Islamic Religious Education learning with a multicultural perspective in SMA Negeri 3 Tebo Regency, (2) To find out what obstacles are faced in multicultural-based learning, and (3) To find out how to overcome obstacles multicultural based learning. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Data was collected by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data collected in the form of words were analyzed by means of reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study, it can be stated that the learning of Islamic Religious Education with a multicultural perspective is carried out in order to strengthen the harmony of life among students at SMA Negeri Tebo Regency with an emphasis on awareness of the diversity of ethnicity, culture, language, religion, and so on. The obstacle that teachers often encounter is that there are still some students who do not understand multicultural insight so that it often triggers the emergence of expressions and attitudes that offend SARA so that it often causes chaos. In order to overcome the existing diversity, teachers continue to approach students and provide an understanding that multiculturalism is a gift that must be nurtured.

Abstract

Tradisi 'Nujuh Bulanan' dilakukan pada saat usia kandungan menginjak tujuh bulan. Tradisi ini bertujuan untuk mendoakan ibu dan anak yang dikandung karena pada usia tujuh bulan ini, kandungan telah terbentuk dengan sempurna. Beberapa aspek penting yang dikaji antara lain apa yang menjadi dasar pembacaan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an pada tradisi nujuh bulanan ini, bagaimana proses pembacaan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an dalam tradisi ini, serta makna pembacaan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an pada tradisi ini. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif lapangan yang menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik.  Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pembacaan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an pada Tradisi Nujuh Bulanan menunjukkan adanya permohonan keselamatan, kemulian, dan menyiratkan kecintaan serta meneladani figur-figur penting baik Nabi maupun orang terhormat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang generasi muda yang terdapat dalam Al-Qur’an serta ayat ayat-ayat yang berkaitan dengannya, seperti apakah generasi muda yang ditawarkan Al-Qur’an dan bagaimana hendakanya para generasi muda bertindak dan berbuat dalam kehidupannya sehari-hari dengan berpedoman kepada Al-Qur’an. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode tafsir Muqaran dan pendekatan hermeneutika gadamer,  yaitu dengan perbandingan pemikiran anatara tafsir Al-Azhar buya hamka dan tafsir Al-Misbah Quraish Shihab dalam menafsirkan ayat-ayat tentang generasi muda dalam Al-Qur’an, perbedaan dan persamaan tafsir Al-Azhar dan tafsir Al-Misbah tentang konsep generasi muda dalam perspektif Al-Qur’an. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Generasi muda merupakan sekelompok orang yang sekiranya sama dalam waktu hidupnya, atau satu angkatan: yang juga berarti masa orang yang seangkatan hidup sedangkan muda berarti kelompok (golongan, kaum) muda, jadi generasi muda dapat di simpulkan ialah segolongan kaum pemuda, maka sebagai generasi muda penerus hendaklah selalu giat didalam belajar untuk mencari ilmu dan juga dalam bekerja. Generasi muda adalah manusia yang mempunyai peran penting di dalam masyarakat, bangsa, agama juga negara dan dalam hal apapun tentu tidak luput dari peranan pemuda, seperti mengadakan kegiatan keagamaan, seni budaya, pendidikan agama bahkan dalam hal pemerintahan.

Abstract

 The social gap that divides society into two different structures – rich-poor, owners of capital and labour, or alliances of large capital owners is a social problem that has always surrounded Indonesia since ancient times. This condition made a Muslim thinker like H.O.S Tjokroaminoto propose the idea of 'Islamic Socialism' aimed at erasing this gap. This study aims to determine the relevance of H.O.S Tjokroaminoto's concept of Islamic socialism in the Indonesian context in the present era. As a library research, this research uses a philosophical approach by conducting content analysis, reflecting and rationalizing the views of H.O.S Tjokroaminoto. Through the research conducted by the author, it is known that Islamic socialism formulated by H.O.S Tjokroaminoto is a concept based on Islamic values and does not reflect any contamination of Western socialist thinking. There is a social situation in Indonesia today that has the opportunity to accommodate H.O.S Tjokroaminoto's Islamic socialist thoughts, resulting in H.O.S Tjokroaminoto's Islamic socialist thoughts becoming very relevant, for example the vision of Pancasila, Indonesia's democratic system, high social inequality, and the degradation of religious morality. H.O.S Tjokroaminoto's Islamic socialism aims to create a just, prosperous, harmonious, peaceful, prosperous society and make us human beings with a social-religious spirit. Kesenjangan sosial yang membagi masyarakat ke dalam dua struktur yang berbeda – kaya-miskin, pemilik modal dan buruh, ataupun aliansi pemilik modal besar merupakan persoalan sosial yang terus mengitari Indonesia sejak dahulu. Kondisi ini yang membuat seorang pemikir Muslim seperti H.O.S Tjokroaminoto mengajukan gagasan 'Sosialisme Islam' yang ditujukan untuk menghapus kesenjangan ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui relevansi konsep sosialisme Islam H.O.S Tjokroaminoto dalam konteks ke-Indonesian di era masa kini. Sebagai penelitian kepustakaan, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan filosofis dengan melakukan analisis konten, melakukan refleksi dan rasionalisasi terhadap pandangan H.O.S Tjokroaminoto. Melalui penelitian yang penulis lakukan, diketahui Sosialisme Islam yang dirumuskan oleh H.O.S Tjokroaminoto merupakan konsep yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai Islam dan tidak mencerminkan adanya kontaminasi pemikiran sosialisme Barat. Adanya situasi sosial kemasyarakatan di Indonesia hari ini yang berpeluang untuk mengakomodasi pemikiran sosialisme Islam H.O.S Tjokroaminoto, mengakibatkan pemikiran sosialisme Islam H.O.S Tjokroaminoto menjadi sangat relevan, misalnya visi Pancasila, sistem demokrasi Indonesia, kesenjangan sosial yang tinggi, dan degradasi moralitas agama. Sosialisme Islam H.O.S Tjokroaminoto bertujuan menciptakan kehidupan masyarakat yang adil, makmur, rukun, damai, sejahtera dan menjadikan kita sebagai manusia yang berjiwa sosial-religius.

Abstract

This article discusses parenting patterns in the social emotional development of early childhood in Mendalo Darat Village, Jambi Luar Kota District, Muaro Jambi Regency. The issues raised are what parents' parenting patterns are, what factors influence the typology of parental parenting patterns, and what solutions can be made to the problems of parents' parenting styles towards children. This research is descriptive qualitative research with data collection through observation and interviews. The results of this study show that typical parenting patterns in the social emotional development of children aged 4-5 years include; restricting children from playing, parents who are busy working, parents demanding that children follow their parents' orders, and parents who obey or pamper their children. The factors that influence the typical parenting style include; parental education factors, parental personality factors, quality of time factors, and number of children factors. Solutions to overcome this problem include; the need for parenting insight for parents, parents need to spend time with their children, and parents must try to be role models for their children. Artikel ini membahas tentang pola asuh orangtua dalam perkembangan sosial emosional anak usia dini di Desa Mendalo Darat Kecamatan Jambi Luar Kota Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Permasalahan yang diangkat adalah bagaimana pola asuh orang tua, faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi tipologi pola asuh orang tua tersebut, dan bagaimana solusi yang bisa dilakukan untuk permasalahan pola asuh orang tua terhadap anak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data secara observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tipikal pola asuh orangtua dalam perkembangan sosial emosional anak usia 4-5 tahun antara lain; membatasi anak bermain, orangtua yang sibuk bekerja, orang tua menuntut anak mengikuti perintah orang tua, dan orangtua yang menuruti atau memanjakan anak. Adapun faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi tipikal pola asuh orangtua tersebut antara lain; faktor pendidikan orangtua, faktor kepribadian orangtua, faktor kualitas waktu, dan faktor jumlah anak. Solusi untuk mengatasi persoalan tersebut antara lain; perlunya wawasan parenting bagi orangtua, orang tua perlu meluangkan waktu bersama anak, dan orangtua harus berusaha menjadi role model bagi anak-anak mereka.

Abstract

This article elucidates contradictory religious arguments. Religion substantively carries messages of salvation and guidance of truth from God. But when it is practiced by humans, substantive religious messages were reduced and replaced with contradictory religious expressions that eradicated the substantive messages of religion itself. Conflict and violence in the name of religion is a real phenomenon that the substantive religious teachings lost its essential message of religion. An important question to be answered in this article is how does the process of religious reduction occur if it is reviewed from the character of theological interpretation produced by theologians? A literature study of this article about the tension, conflict, and violence in the name of religion shows that the reduction of the face of religion is due to the product of sectarian, fanatical, and untolerant. These findings strengthen previous studies about the influence of theological patterns towards religious attitudes of their adherents.
