Abstract

This study explores the motives and meaning of recitation as a form of spiritual communication for career women in the Bandung city hospital environment. This study uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods, including interviews and observations. The study results show that the meaning of recitation as a form of spiritual communication as a means. The meaning of recitation as a form of spiritual communication as an activity. This meaning is driven by two kinds of motives, namely learning motives and needs motives. Learning explanations emphasize the desire to seek knowledge, share experiences and understand religious issues. Meanwhile, the need motive emphasizes encouragement from within and outside the individual, such as the desire to live a more balanced life between the life of the world and the hereafter, the need for friends or socialization. The motives and meanings possessed by key informants are not entirely separate but have overlaps so that the findings of this study cannot be categorized as a single motive. The motives owned by career women lead them to an understanding that recitation is a means and activity to return to their God Almight.

Abstract

Public relations practitioners from private universities have a strategic role in formulating and implementing creative and innovative communication programs through the use of technology and new media, especially in the time of the Covid-19 pandemic like today. This study aims to map the performance of private-public relations practitioners in optimizing the role of social media to overcome problems that arise due to the pandemic, such as the absence of direct promotion and communication to prospective students and the decline in interest in high school/vocational equivalent graduates to continue to higher education, by using the method of qualitative case study approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through FGD, in-depth interviews, observations of Unisba-assisted private universities in Bandung, and literature review. The results of the study show that in responding to the application of communication technology during the pandemic, it is necessary to implement strategic steps, including the building of a special team, empowering the entire academic community and students as well, coordinating with related parties, and evaluating the use of social media as a means of promotion. The results of this study contribute to universities that want to design promotional activities through social media.

Abstract

Abstract. The Minister of Health advised the public to pay more attention and maintain their body's health so that their immune system remains strong and they are not easily infected by disease. In fact, there are still many people who don't care about this. This condition is caused by a lack of public knowledge about health. One of the doctors who likes to educate the public through social media is Dr. Andhika Raspati. This doctor has a unique way of educating his followers about health through Instagram video reels. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. This research uses a constructivist paradigm and data collection techniques by means of interviews, observation and literature study. The subject of this interview research is Dr. Andhika Raspati, social media expert and health communication expert to triangulate sources. The results of this research are based on post characteristics, audience characteristics, and duration on Instagram. Key informants feel that Instagram is the right platform to educate the public about health in this digital era. Especially nowadays, people more often use social media to search for things or issues. The features available on Instagram also help key informants make their educational videos more attractive to the audience. The interaction carried out by key informants through the comments feature with the audience is also very helpful in conveying the educational message. The interaction carried out by key informants with the audience can help the message conveyed well and correctly. Abstrak. Menteri kesehatan berpesan agar masyarakat lebih memperhatikan dan menjaga kesehatan tubuh agar imun tubuh tetap kuat dan tidak mudah tertular penyakit. Faktanya, masih banyak masyarakat yang belum peduli dengan hal tersebut. Kondisi ini dikarenakan kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai kesehatan. Salah satu dokter yang gemar mengedukasi masyarakat melalui media sosial yaitu dr. Andhika Raspati. Dokter ini, memiliki cara yang unik dalam mengedukasi followersnya mengenai kesehatan melalui video-video reels Instagram. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma konstruktivisme dan teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara, observasi, dan studi pustaka. Subjek penelitian wawancara ini yaitu dr. Andhika Raspati, pakar media sosial, dan pakar komunikasi kesehatan guna melakukan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian ini berdasarkan dari karakteristik postingan, karakteristik audiens, dan durasi di Instagram, key informan merasa bahwa Instagram merupakan platform yang tepat untuk mengedukasi masyarakat mengenai kesehatan di era digital ini. Terlebih pada zaman sekarang, masyarakat lebih sering menggunakan media sosial untuk mencari suatu hal atau isu. Fitur yang tersedia di Instagram juga membantu key informan dalam membuat video edukasinya lebih menarik di mata audiens. Interaksi yang dilakukan oleh key informan melalui fitur komentar dengan audiens juga sangat membantu dalam penyampaian pesan edukasi tersebut. Dengan adanya interaksi yang dilakukan oleh key informan dengan audiens dapat membantu pesan yang disampaikan tersampaikan dengan baik dan benar.

Abstract

The Indonesian Government imposed social distancing to contain the spread of novel coronavirus disease 2019. Enforcement of these regulations makes social media prevalent for seeking medical information after pandemic. Experiencing overload information can make individuals feel fatigued while processing the information they receive, including health information amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Tabayyun is an attempt to find out unclear information by checking information. This means that tabayyun process involves checking and selecting information carefully. This article is a descriptive research report that tries to describe the attitude of tabayyun to Muslim families in receiving health information, especially in the digital era. Specifically, this research aims to give details of The tabayyun attitude that must be developed in the digital era and The behavior of Muslim families when doing tabayyun via social media. How individuals behave when receiving information needs to be developed to anticipate the overload caused by the rapid flow of health information. Abstract

Abstrak. Sebagai makhluk sosial, manusia membutuhkan komunikasi untuk berinteraksi, berbagi pemahaman, dan menyelesaikan konflik. Komunikasi efektif mencakup penyampaian pesan serta bagaimana pesan dipahami dan ditindaklanjuti. Sosialisasi, sebagai bentuk komunikasi, menuntut kejelasan dan ketepatan. Di era konvergensi media, integrasi digital mendorong transformasi berbagai sektor, termasuk kesehatan. UPT Puskesmas Cikajang mengimplementasikan sistem ePuskesmas untuk meningkatkan layanan. Namun, keberhasilannya sangat ditentukan oleh efektivitas sosialisasi kepada tenaga kesehatan, terutama yang belum terbiasa dengan teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur efektivitas pesan dalam sosialisasi sistem informasi kesehatan digital ePuskesmas di UPT Puskesmas Cikajang dengan menggunakan teori Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) dan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semua dimensi pesan yang diteliti yaitu format, nuansa, konteks, waktu, pengulangan, dan feedback berada pada kategori efektif dengan rata-rata persentase di atas 75%. Dimensi format pesan memperoleh skor efektivitas tertinggi yaitu 81,67%, disusul oleh pengulangan pesan sebesar 81,82%, konteks pesan 78,48%, feedback 78,6%, nuansa pesan 78,08%, dan waktu penyampaian 76,52%. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa komunikasi yang dikemas secara efektif sangat berperan dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesiapan petugas kesehatan dalam mengoperasikan sistem ePuskesmas. Dengan demikian, komunikasi efektif terbukti menjadi elemen kunci dalam mendukung keberhasilan transformasi layanan kesehatan berbasis digital. Abstract. As social beings, humans require communication to interact, share understanding, and resolve conflicts. Effective communication involves not only message delivery but also how messages are comprehended and acted upon. Socialization, as a form of communication, demands clarity and precision. In the era of media convergence, digital integration is driving transformation across various sectors, including healthcare. UPT Puskesmas Cikajang has implemented the ePuskesmas system to enhance service quality. However, its success is highly dependent on the effectiveness of socialization among healthcare workers, particularly those unfamiliar with technology. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of messages in the socialization of the ePuskesmas digital health information system at UPT Puskesmas Cikajang using the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) theory and a descriptive quantitative approach. The findings indicate that all message dimensions examined format, tone, context, timing, repetition, and feedback are categorized as effective, with average percentages above 75%. The format dimension obtained the highest effectiveness score at 81.67%, followed by repetition 81.82%, context 78.48%, feedback 78.6%, tone 78.08%, and timing 76.52%. These results confirm that well-structured communication plays a significant role in improving the understanding and readiness of healthcare personnel in operating the ePuskesmas system. Thus, effective communication proves to be a key element in supporting the successful transformation of digital-based healthcare services
