Abstract

Working behaviour has changed because of the unprecedented condition of the Covid-19 pandemic. People manage to find new ways of doing their work from their house with the help of technology. Using the concept of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), the purpose of this study was to reveal the perception of secretaries and administrative assistants in carrying out their administrative work during the Covid-19 pandemic. The concept used was This study used an exploratory case study. A qualitative case study method was used to obtain information about the constraints and consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic on secretaries, administrative assistants, and administration staff. A list of semi-structured questions was developed based on the related literature and was used to collect in-depth information. The findings of this study revealed some challenges and constraints experienced by the 15 informants.

Abstract

The use of proper communication in marketing online transportation services is needed by companies in order to be able to compete against competitors in similar business categories. One of the marketing communication activities that is considered to have the main power to reach large numbers of customers and can persuade consumers is by serving advertisements related to the products offered. This study aims to analyze the effect of YouTube advertising from Gojek online transportation on consumer decisions. The theories and concepts used in this study are persuasion communication theory, marketing communication, AIDA concept, and consumer decision theory. This study was conducted in February-June 2020. The research method used is a quantitative method in the form of a survey with a questionnaire as a tool in data collection and measured using a Likert scale. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling, namely purposive sampling. The number of respondents is 100 (one hundred) who live in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta. Researchers tested the validity, reliability, normality, linearity, simple regression, determination, simple correlation, and t test using the SPSS 26 for windows program. The results of the analysis of determination obtained 44.5% which indicates a positive influence between advertising on consumer decisions. The remaining 55.5% is influenced by other variables outside of this study.

Abstract

ong the many marketing tools which has given a wide range and easy accessibility. One kind of eWOM is digital influencer who uses the social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook. The digital influencer has a role as a communicator who influences the purchase decision of the viewers. The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of a beauty vlogger to the purchase intention of the viewers in the YouTube channel. This study uses quantitative research method with analysis techniques include tests of validity, reliability, normality, linearity, simple linear regression, statistic descriptive, and determination. Data analysis was defined by the total quota sampling technique. Data collection was done by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents who were the viewers of the YouTube video blog. The result of this study shows that the contribution of the digital influencer to the decision of purchasing cosmetic products is 87.6%. This result opens the opportunity to producers of life-style products to collaborate with the beauty vloggers to advertise their products.

Abstract

Every organization needs documents for operational activities and in management decision making. Several obstacles in manual document management resulted in delays in business processes because documents were not properly recorded, difficult to find, or lost. Document management must be handled appropriately so that the task is carried out effectively and efficiently. Efficiency in document management increases employee productivity and company performance. Document management in the era of information technology should utilize technology and be in line with the times. This study aims to find solutions to problems in document management in the company. This research uses a descriptive method with a case study at PT Telin. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and process. Ishikawa's Fishbone Cause and Effect Diagram was used to analyze the cause of the problem. Problem solving solutions are carried out by applying knowledge in archive management and computer operation. The stages in problem solving are carried out in accordance with the management function (plan, do, check, action). The result of this research is the use of Microsoft Access in digital document management system. The limitation of the research is that it only applies one type of application in problem solving. Setiap organisasi membutuhkan dokumen untuk kegiatan operasional dan dalam pengambilan keputusan manajemen. Beberapa kendala dalam pengelolaan dokumen secara manual mengakibatkan terhambatnya proses bisnis karena dokumen tidak tercatatkan dengan baik, sulit ditemukan, atau hilang. Pengelolaan dokumen harus ditangani secara tepat agar tugas terlaksana secara efektif dan efisien. Efisiensi dalam pengelolaan dokumen meningkatkan produktivitas karyawan dan kinerja perusahaan. Pengelolaan dokumen di era teknologi informasi sudah selayaknya memanfaatkan teknologi dan selaras dengan perkembangan jaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan solusi atas permasalahan dalam pengelolaan dokumen di perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskripsi dengan studi kasus di PT Telin. Data diperoleh melalui pengamatan, wawancara, dan melakukan proses. Diagram Sebab Akibat berbentuk Tulang Ikan dari Ishikawa digunakan untuk menganalisis penyebab masalah. Solusi penyelesaian masalah dilakukan dengan menerapkan pengetahuan dalam manajemen kearsipan dan pengoperasian komputer. Tahapan dalam penyelesaian masalah dilakukan sesuai dengan fungsi manajemen (plan, do, check, action). Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pemanfaatan Microsoft Access dalam system pengelolaan dokumen secara digital. Keterbatasan penelitian adalah hanya menerapkan satu jenis aplikasi dalam penyelesaian masalah.

Abstract

Abstrak: Generasi muda memiliki peran sentral sebagai pemimpin yang membawa perubahan pada masa depan Indonesia. Sebagai calon pemimpin masa depan, generasi muda dituntut terampil berbicara di depan publik untuk menyampaikan gagasan secara efektif. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh para siswa adalah kesulitan berbicara di depan publik karena kendala teknis maupun emosional dan sekolah tidak memberikan materi tentang berbicara di depan publik. Kegiatan PkM bertujuan agar para siswa lebih mengasah keterampilan berbicara di depan publik (public speaking skills) sehingga mereka lebih percara diri untuk bebricara di depan publik. Manfaat lain dari workshop public speaking skills adalah sebagai keunggulan bersaing bagi para siswa. Workshop diberikan kepada 23 siswa SMK Strada Daan Mogot secara daring dan luring sesuai ketentuan pihak sekolah. Di akhir kegiatan dilakukan uji keterampilan public speaking. Hasil workshop menunjukkan bahwa tujuan workshop tercapai sesuai rencana yaitu dengan hasil evaluasi yang menunjukkan rasa percaya diri yang lebih baik dan nilai kemampuan siswa berbicara di depan publik adalah baik dan baik sekali.Abstract: The younger generation has a central role as leaders who bring about change in the future of Indonesia. As future leaders, young people are required to be skilled in public speaking to convey ideas effectively. The problems faced by the students were difficulty speaking in public due to technical and emotional problems and the school did not provide material on public speaking. The PkM activity aims to make students hone their public speaking skills. Another benefit of public speaking skills training is as a competitive advantage for students. The training was given to 23 students of SMK Strada Daan Mogot online and onsite according to the school's regulations. At the end of the activity, a public speaking skill test was conducted. The results of the training showed that the training objectives were achieved, with the evaluation results which showed better self-confidence and the value of students' ability to speak in public was good and very good.

Abstract

Objective – The COVID-19 pandemic has challenged the government because of the uncertainty in public health services’ preparedness to provide patient-centered care that meets public needs. Hence, the necessity to evaluate service quality towards society’s satisfaction and trust during these difficult times. This study examines the influence of service quality towards public satisfaction and public trust on the public health services in Jakarta during the pandemic.Methodology – A quantitative method using regression data analysis with a total sample of 120 respondents.Findings – The result shows that two dimensions of public service quality (empathy and reliability) significantly influenced public satisfaction. However, the other three dimensions of public service quality (tangible, responsiveness, and assurance) did not influence public satisfaction. Only two dimensions of public service quality (reliability and responsiveness) significantly influenced public trust. The result found that public satisfaction positively influenced public trust. The relation was strongest compared to other correlations in the study.Novelty – This study examined public health services by the government of Jakarta during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Objective – Interpersonal communication in human life has an influence on many things, one of which is self-concept. A teenager still needs assistance from his parents in forming his self-concept so that his social environment and future can be guaranteed. This study aims to analyze the effect of the effectiveness of parental interpersonal communication on children's external self-concept during the COVID-19 pandemic at Pangudi Luhur II Servasius High School. Methodology – This research was conducted in September 2020 – January 2021. A quantitative method with a total sample of 261 people out of a total population of 558 people was used. Findings – Using the theory of the effectiveness of interpersonal communication, the theory of family communication patterns, and the theory of external self-concept, the result shows that there is a positive relationship between the effectiveness of parental communication and the child's external self-concept. The effectiveness of parental interpersonal communication affects the external self-concept by 9.2%. Novelty – This study examined the effectiveness of parental interpersonal communication on children's external self-concept during the COVID-19 pandemic. Abstract

Persaingan di industri layanan transportasi online telah mengubah perilaku para pengusaha dalam menerapkan komunikasi pemasaran yang inovatif sebagai upaya untuk dapat mempertahankan posisinya di pasar industri yang kompetitif. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan yakni membuat program kampanye di media sosial dimana hal ini dapat membantu meningkatkan jumlah pengguna serta memperkuat citra merek. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh dari pesan kampanye terhadap keputusan khalayak pengguna. Model AISAS dan teori keputusan pembelian dalam penelitian ini digunakan sebagai dasar pengembangan instrumen penelitian. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan survei terhadap seratus pengikut akun instagram @gojekindonesia. Responden yang mengisi survei merupakan sampel penelitian yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik sampling pada akun Instagram @gojekindonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji validitas, reliabilitas, normalitas, linieritas, analisis regresi sederhana, uji t, dan analisis koefisien determinasi yang diolah dengan program IBM SPSS versi 26. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan adanya pengaruh positif pesan kampanye #PakeGojekPalingHemat yang terdapat pada akun Instagram @gojekindonesia terhadap keputusan khalayak dalam menggunakan aplikasi Gojek. Pengaruh pesan kampanye (variabel X) terhadap keputusan khalayak pengguna adalah sebesar 54%. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 46% keputusan khalayak dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak dimasukkan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini sangat signifikan yaitu menunjukkan bahwa kampanye yang dilakukan Gojek telah menyampaikan pesan yang efektif dan relevan kepada audiens targetnya. Kampanye #PakeGojekPalingHemat dapat menarik pelanggan dengan menawarkan nilai hemat atau keuntungan finansial yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan preferensi mereka.

Abstract

Penggunaan komunikasi yang tepat dalam pemasaran jasa transportasi online sangat dibutuhkan oleh perusahaan untuk mampu bersaing melawan pesaing dalam kategori bisnis sejenis. Salah satu kegiatan komunikasi pemasaran yang dianggap memiliki kekuatan utama untuk menjangkau pelanggan dalam jumlah besar dan dapat mempersuasi konsumen adalah dengan melalui penayangan iklan terkait produk yang ditawarkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh iklan YouTube dari transportasi online Gojek terhadap keputusan konsumen. Teori atau konsep yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori komunikasi persuasi, komunikasi pemasaran, konsep AIDA, dan teori keputusan konsumen. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Februari-Juni 2020. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif berbentuk survei dengan kuesioner sebagai alat bantu dalam pengumpulan data dan diukur dengan menggunakan skala likert. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah non probability sampling, yaitu dengan purposive sampling. Jumlah responden sebanyak 100 (seratus) yang berdomisili di wilayah Kelapa Gading, Jakarta Utara. Peneliti melakukan Uji validitas, reliabilitas, normalitas, linearitas, regresi sederhana, determinasi, korelasi sederhana, dan uji t dengan menggunakan program SPSS 26 for windows. Hasil penelitian dari analisis determinasi, diperoleh sebesar 44,5% yang menandakan adanya pengaruh positif antara periklanan terhadap keputusan konsumen. Sisanya 55,5% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain di luar penelitian ini.

Abstract

Peran sekretaris di kantor sebagai asisten pimpinan dalam kegiatanl administrasi tetap dibutuhkan di era modern. Salah satu tugas yang penting dilakukan sekretaris adalah mengelola dokumen. Dokumen perusahaan seringkali sulit ditemukan karena tidak disimpan dengan menggunakan suatu sistem pengelolaan dokumen tertentu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan solusi bagi masalah pengelolaan dokumen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode pengumpulan data lapangan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan melaksanakan suatu proses. Masalah yang ditemukan dianalisis menggunakan diagram tulang ikan Ishikawa dan dikaji untuk didapatkan alternatif solusi atas masalah yang ada. Masalah pengelolaan dokumen yang ditemukan diselesaikan dengan melakukan klasifikasi dokumen menggunakan sistem abjad serta dibantu dengan melakukan pencatatan menggunakan teknologi digital. Alternatif solusi yang dipilih direalisasikan dengan menerapkan fungsi-fungsi manajemen yaitu perencanaan., pelaksanaan, pemeriksaan, dan tindakan perbaikan. Penerapan solusi mempertimbangkan faktor sumber daya yang dimiliki perusahaan yaitu sumber daya manusia dan materi. Pemanfaatan teknologi dalam melakukan pengelolaan dokumen dalam solusi masalah ini adalah dalam pembuatan klasifikasi dokumen secara digital sehingga memudahkan dalam pencarian dokumen.
