Abstract

There are two different opinions about the relationship between religiosity and post-disaster trauma. First, it is religiosity that helps the mental recovery of disaster survivors. Second, religiosity does not have a significant role in the lives of disaster survivors. This research supports to verify both opinions, through field observations and interviews with earthquake survivors in Lombok-Indonesia. Herbert Blumer, researchers used symbolic interactions. The results found a positive relationship between religiosity and mental recovery. Although this disaster has caused massive casualties, misery and loss, it has released significant difficulties in religious awareness. The nuances of religiosity found at the Lombok disaster site are also not only about ritual worship, but also more inclusive social relations, and more authentic relationships with supernatural realms and natural environment.

Abstract

Pesantren (Islamic Boarding Schools) is a religious educational institution that has long history in Indonesia. Pesatren has an important role in producing religious figures, including kyai (an expert of Islamic teachings) or tuan guru (grand teacher). However, this role began to fade as many secular educational institutions emerged due to modernization and globalization, and at the same time pesantren began to change a lot to adapt to this new system. This study aims to explore the role of the Ma’had Dar Al-Qur’an wa Al-Hadith Nahdlatul Wathan (MDQH NW) Islamic boarding school in maintaining the tuan guru (grand teacher) tradition, and the strategies used to maintain this tradition. This study used a qualitative method with data collected through techniques of participatory observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The results indicate that the MDQH NW has a significant contribution in maintaining the tuan guru tradition. This is demonstrated by the pattern of education and all institutional activities oriented to the pesantren culture with the study of the al-Mu’tabarah book with the halaqah system. The strategies include strengthening traditional education, strengthening socio-religious relations, and strengthening Islamic da’wah. Continuity is also seen in the social relations built with the masyayikh (internal quality assurance) at Madrasah Shaulatiyah Makkah. Changes also occurred at the MDQH NW in Pancor regarding the duration of studies, especially for the talibat (female students) who previously took 3 years then extended to 4 years, which is the same duration as the tullab (male students). However, the MDQH NW Islamic Boarding School in Anjani still maintains the rule that has become the legacy of its founders, namely three years for the talibat and four the tullab.

Abstract

Al-Qur’an diturunkan pada umat yang memiliki keistimewaan tersendiri dikarenakan gemar menghafal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: Mengetahui strategi pengelolaan, implementasi manajemen, dan implikasi manajemen Rumah Qur’an NW Lombok dalam mencetak generasi qur’ani. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, sedangkan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni metode deskriptif dengan teknik observasi partisifasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu: Pertama, Strategi Pengelolaan atau Manajemen Pondok Tahfidz Baqiyatussalaf NW—Rumah Qur’an Nahdlatul Wathan Lombok dalam mencetak generasi Qur’ani yaitu dengan membuat Planning (perencanaan) yang di dalamnya menyangkut masalah Strategi Pengembangan Kurikulum, Strategi Pengembangan Kegiatan, Strategi Boarding School, Strategi Pemanfaatan Media Sosial, Strategi Pendanaan. Kedua, Implementasi manajemen Pondok Tahfidz Baqiyatussalaf NW—Rumah Qur’an Nahdlatul Wathan Lombok dalam mencetak generasi Qur’ani tahap Organizing dengan mengaktualisasikan lima program unggulan yaitu Program I’dad, Program Tahfidz, Program Tasri’, Program Mutqin, dan Program Takmili. Tahap actuating yang dilakukan Pondok Tahfidz Baqiyatussalaf NW—Rumah Qur’an Nahdlatul Wathan Lombok yaitu mengadakan perekrutan santri sebelum masuk ke pesantren, pelaksanaan koordinasi, mobilisasi dan alokasi sumber daya, pemberian motivasi, penambahan hafalan, pembagian kelompok santri tahfidz, pemberian sanksi bagi santri yang tidak mencapai target, penentuan target hafalan, pengawasan pembinaan tahfidz, program unggulan tahfidz di pesantren, penentuan jumlah target hafalan dalam setiap semester, pengawasan dari Pembina tahfidz terhadap santri dan pengembangan pembinaan tahfidz terhadap santri, program unggulan dalam menghafal Al-Quran. Adanya kendala pembina tahfidz, faktor pendukung atau penunjang santri dalam menghafal Al-Quran. Ketiga, Implikasi manajemen Pondok Tahfidz Baqiyatussalaf NW—Rumah Qur’an Nahdlatul Wathan Lombok dalam mencetak generasi Qur’ani dibagi menjadi tiga, yaitu; Implikasi Akademis, Implikasi Spritual, dan Implikasi Etika Sosial.

Abstract

[Bahasa]: Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di Kecamatan Masbagik Lombok Timur belum memiliki pengetahuan dan pemahaman yang memadai tentang Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Salah satu upaya untuk membantu mereka adalah melalui pelatihan PTK. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman guru PAI di Kecamatan Masbagik dalam mendesain atau merancang PTK. Program pengabdian ini dilakukan di Ponpes Halimatussa’dian NW Lombok Timur. Partisipan dalam kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah 40 orang guru PAI di Kecamatan Masbagik Lombok Timur. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan dengan metode workshop dengan melakukan tatap muka langsung di kelas memberikan pelatihan mengenai metode penelitian PTK, penyusunan proposal dan laporan PTK yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan kegiatan, yakni perencanan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa para guru PAI memiliki pengetahuan dan pemahaman yang memadai terkait PTK, serta mampu melakukan perancangan PTK dengan baik. Proses bimbingan dan pendampingan telah membantu untuk menyempurnakan kemampuan mereka dalam merancang PTK dengan lebih baik. Kata Kunci: desain, kapasitas guru, Pendidikan Agama Islam, Penelitian Tindakan Kelas [English]: Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in Masbagik, East Lombok, lack adequate knowledge and understanding of Classroom Action Research (CAR). One effort to assist them is through a workshop on CAR. This community engagement activity aims to enhance the knowledge and understanding of PAI teachers in Masbagik in designing CAR. The research was conducted at Halimatussa'diah Islamic Boarding School in East Lombok, with 40 PAI teachers from Masbagik involved in the workshop. The community engagement was carried out through a workshop involving face-to-face interactions in the classroom, training on CAR methods, and CAR proposal design exercise, consisting of three stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. This community service program results show that PAI teachers possess adequate knowledge and understanding of CAR and are proficient in designing CAR projects. The guidance and mentoring process significantly improved their CAR design skills. Keywords: design, teacher capacity, Islamic religion education, Classroom Action Research
