Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi proses pemberdayaan perempuan prasejahtera melalui program inkubasi bisnis. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksploratory pada perempuan prasejahtera di rumah susun Romokalisari, Rusun Dupak Bangunrejo dan Rusun Pesapen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program inkubasi bisnis dilakukan dengan pelatihan hard skill, soft skill, dan inovasi dengan cara differensiasi produk, keduanya dapat meningkatkan kemandirian dan penghasilan perempuan prasejahtera di rumah susun. Abstract: Business Incubation Program for Empowerment Solutions for Underprivileged Women. This study aims to explore the process of empowering underprivileged women through a business incubation program. The research used an exploratory method on underprivileged women in the Romokalisari flats, the Dupak Bangunrejo and Pesapen Flats. The results showed that the business incubation program was carried out by training on hard skills, soft skills, and innovation by means of product differentiation, both of which could increase the independence and income of underprivileged women in flats.

Abstract

This article aims to evaluate the implementation of healthy villages in the KP-KAS program, especially on indicators of efforts to prevent maternal and child mortality. This study uses a qualitative method with an interpretive approach to studying the object of research in more detail. In-depth interviews were conducted with several key informants. The results of this study show that there are several programs carried out in healthy villages to reduce maternal and child mortality, namely eradication malnutrition, vaccination, delivery assisted by health workers, and reproduction health through contraception.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the effect of entrepreneurship education on the entrepreneurial intention of college students in Surabaya. Purposive sampling was used towards 220 college students. The criteria of the samples were students who already took entrepreneurship subject for bachelor degree and entrepreneurship practicum for vocational studies. This study used Mann-Whitney U-Test through SPSS and partial least squares through SmartPLS. This study finds: 1) attitude, subjective norm and perceived behavioral control have a positive significant impact towards entrepreneurial intention, 2) entrepreneurship education has a positive significant impact towards entrepreneurial intention,3) entrepreneurship education failed to moderate any of the theory of planned behavior variables effect toward entrepreneurial intention, 4) gender failed to moderate the relationship between entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial intention, 5) there was no difference on the level of entrepreneurial intention between male and female college students, 6)  there was no difference on the level of entrepreneurial intention between bachelor degree and vocational studies students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to further analyze extended systemic entrepreneurship intention and its effect towards college students in Surabaya. This study used purposive sampling towards 118 college students. This study used partial least square through SmartPLS. The findings of this study are: 1) perceived convenience have a positive significant impact towards entrepreneurial intention, 2) risk tolerance have a positive significant impact towards entrepreneurial intention,3) perceived feasibility does not affect entrepreneurial intention, 4) personal attitude does not affect entrepreneurial intention and lastly entrepreneurial intention have a positive significant impact towards entrepreneurial behavior. This study implies that academic institution needs to further ensure students, that becoming an entrepreneur is still a promising career choice amidst the scarcity of job-vacancy in the current market and job layoffs trend during covid-19 pandemic. This study also implies that students risk tolerance and their positive perception towards entrepreneurship were a distinctive quality, hence the need of the academic institution to further develop their intention to become an entrepreneur after graduation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of self-efficacy, economic situation, and parental background on gen z students’ entrepreneurial despondency. Non-probability purposive sampling was used to determine the respondent. The criteria of sample for this study were students who are in the age of 18-26 or categorized as gen Z. 150 respondents were acquired and used in this study. Data were analyzed using Mann-Whitney and Partial Least Square. The results confirmed that there were no differences in entrepreneurial despondency between gen z students without entrepreneurial parental background and gen z students with entrepreneurial parental background. Among the antecedent variables, only self-efficacy and economic situation that affected entrepreneurial despondency while parental background showed no effect. Economic situation and parental background failed to moderate the relationship between self-efficacy and entrepreneurial despondency. This study provided several theoretical and practical implication towards factors that affect entrepreneurial despondency among gen z students.
