Abstract

An experiment to test of absorption and sinking speed of strand from bark of Terap (Artocarpus elasticus) was conducted to find the material of fishing gear’s construction. Bark of laticiferous were dried under sun light and spun to be a strand. The strand was tested their water absorption capacity and sinking speed in sea water into tube. The result show that the absorption capacity of the strand was reached 255.56% and sinking speed was 4.3 cm/sec. The relationship between absorption capacity, sinking speed and feasibility of strand from bark of laticiferous is detail discussed in this paper.Keyword: Absorption, fishing gear, terap (Artocarpus elasticus), sinking speed, strand

Abstract

This research was conducted on May 2015 in Kampar river waters, BuluhCina village, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. The purpose ofthis study was to determine the webbing is effective for catching fish (Rasbora sp)using gill nets. The data collected in this study include the type of fish, the amountof fish caught in weight (grams), individuals (tail) and fish caught are snagged,gilled, wedged and entangled hereinafter abbreviated as SGWE. Data wereanalyzed, namely the amount of catches and how to Rasbora sp caught in gill netsby using completely randomized design (CRD), with three treatments and 10repetitions. Webbing different obtainable catches Rasbora sp the most is the whitewebbing that as many as 234 fish with a weight of 6,027 grams, and the least isthe blue webbing as much as 78 tails, weighing 2,078 grams. The results ofANOVA for the number and weight of fish catches Rasbora sp obtained Fhit>Ftab the meaning of there is a significant effect between treatments wereattempted. The white color is more effective fishing gear to catch fish (Rasborasp) using gill nets.Keywords: webbing, gill nets.

Abstract

Purpose of this study is to test effectiveness of PVC and conventional trap to catch C. Batrachus as main fishing target. C. Batrachus behavior on the fishing capture process by PVC and conventional trap were observed in the tank 9 x 1 x 1.5 m in dimension and under video camera (JVC, HDD Evero 35 X optical zoom) recording. The result show that, the PVC trap was most effective to catch, which the total fishing catches were 21 individuals. The average of duration time was spent between 1.53 – 183.15 minutes for each individual to enter in to PVC trap during observation. While, the conventional trap was caught 8 individuals, which was reqiured time between 3.23 – 424.12 minutes. The capture process of C. Batrachus was varied, they were surrounded in front of tunnel of the trap before go toinside it as well as another individual directly go to inside the trap. The effectiveness of capture process was influenced by short time the C. Batrachus enter to the trap, which C. Batrachus was required times 1.53 minutes each individuals in average for PVC trap and 3.23 minutes for conventional trap. The C. Batrachus behavior related to the fishing capture process was discussed in this paper.Key words: Cathfish (C. batrachus), Conventional Trap, PVC Trap, Trap, Tank

Abstract

This study was conducted on 28 June to 5 July 2013 in the village of Bay Pambang Bengkalis Riau Province. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of hook type (Type J, Kirby and Crycle) on long line catches (mini long line). The method used in this study is the experimental method. The results are presented in tables and histograms were analyzed using one way ANOVA formula. Based on the research it can be concluded that the type of hook J, Kirby and Cyrcel get the value of the average value of 2.77; 4.57 and 3.75. Where hook Cyrcel Kirby and more effective than the hook type A (Standard), from One Way Anova test hypotheses (Analisysisi of Variance) is 0089 less than the value of α = 0.05 level (p-value <α) gives the rate of fishing is not significantly different.Keywords : Long Line, Hook, Catch

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi pemasaran BMT Al Ittihad Rumbai dalam memperluas pasar dan menemukan posisi strategi dari BMT Al Ittihad Rumbai. Objek dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh cabang BMT Al Ittihad Rumbai yang berada dipekanbaru yang berjumlah 3 cabang. Sampel dari penelitian ini menggunakan proposive sampling kepada pihak manajemen BMT seperti Kepala cabang dan manajer. Tahapan dalam penelitian ini mengunakan metode diskriptif dengan tahapan analisis berawal dari penentuan variable SWOT dari faktor Eksternal dan Internal yang di anggap berpengaruh terhadap BMT Al Ittihad Rumbai, selanjutnya setalah ditemukan dan dibobot dari setiap indikator lalu tahapan berikutnya adalah penetuan posisi strategi dengan sumber data dari analisis SWOT sebelumnya dengan mengunakan Matrik SWOT-8K, setalah ditemukan posisi strategi maka tahapan berikutnya penyusunan dan perumusan strategi dengan munggunakan Matrik TWOS yang terdiri dari strategi Strength- (SO), Strength- (ST), Weakness- opertonity (WO) dan Weakness- Treath (WT). Hasil dari penelitin ini menunjukan bahwa strategi pemasaran yang dapat digunakan adalah adalah (1) Membuat dan Mengembangkan applikasi BMT Al Ittihad pada Smartphone sesuai dengan sistem syariah, (2) Meningkat kegiatan promosi di media pemasaran offline dan online yang masih belum dilaksanakan oleh BMT Al Ittihad karena kegiatan ini akan sekaligus mempromosikan kepada masyarakat Riau khususnya masyarakat muslim dan (3) Menjadi Sponsor pada Acara/ Kegiatan islami dengan menjadi sponsor dan posisi strategi BMT Al Ittihad Rumbai berada pada Strategi Pertumbuhan Stabil (stable Growth Strategy)
