Abstract

This study aims to see how the influence of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Corporate Governance on earnings management practices. CSR is proxied by CSR award and Corporate Governance by GCG award. Earnings management is measured by discretionary accrual and real earning management through cash flow operations. The population in this study is all manufacture companies that listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) which their financial reports are available completely during the study period, which is from 2015-2019. This study results shows that GCG has negative impact to accrual earnings management and real earnings management through cash flow operation even though its not significant, meanwhile CSR has negative impact to accrual earnings management and positive impact to real earnings management through cash flow operation and theyre not significant.

Abstract

In the rapidly evolving landscape of artificial intelligence (AI), optimizing human resources (HR) practices is imperative to foster organizational excellence. This qualitative research aims to explore the intersection of AI and HR practices to enhance organizational performance. The research adopts a qualitative approach utilizing in-depth interviews with HR professionals, AI specialists, and organizational leaders. Sampling techniques include purposive and snowball sampling to ensure diverse perspectives are captured. Data analysis involves thematic analysis, allowing for the identification of patterns and themes within the qualitative data. Preliminary findings indicate that organizations are increasingly leveraging AI to streamline HR processes, enhance talent acquisition, and improve employee engagement. Furthermore, the research reveals the significance of ethical considerations and human oversight in AI-driven HR practices. This study contributes to the growing discourse on AI integration in HR and provides insights for organizations aiming to navigate the AI-driven landscape while fostering excellence in HR practices.

Abstract

This study aims to explore sustainable digital marketing approaches for enhancing the branding of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) products. The research model adopts a qualitative methodology to delve into the intricacies of digital marketing strategies utilized by MSMEs. Sampling techniques involve purposive sampling, focusing on MSMEs actively engaged in digital marketing practices. Data collection methods include in-depth interviews and content analysis of digital marketing materials. Through thematic analysis, the study examines the effectiveness and sustainability of various digital marketing approaches adopted by MSMEs. Findings highlight innovative strategies, such as social media marketing, content creation, and influencer collaborations, as pivotal in amplifying product branding for MSMEs. The research underscores the importance of sustainability in digital marketing endeavors for long-term brand growth and competitiveness in the contemporary marketplace.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on corporate branding strategies. Employing a phenomenological approach, the study delves into the lived experiences of corporate stakeholders amidst the pandemic. The sampling technique involves purposive sampling of corporate representatives and marketing professionals renowned for their expertise in branding strategies. Data collection is conducted through in-depth interviews, allowing for a rich understanding of participants' perceptions and experiences. Thematic analysis is employed to identify patterns, trends, and emergent themes from the interview data. Preliminary findings indicate shifts in branding strategies towards digital platforms, heightened emphasis on brand authenticity, and a reevaluation of brand messaging in response to the evolving socio-economic landscape influenced by the pandemic.

Abstract

Sustainable business growth has become a primary focus for companies worldwide in facing global economic challenges and rapidly changing markets. The 82nd National Seminar of STIE Kasih Bangsa explored strategies to achieve sustainable business growth through competitive advantage. The webinar highlighted the importance of adapting to market changes, operational efficiency, innovation, networking, and teamwork in achieving competitive advantage. The discussion results indicate that companies need to invest in technology and innovation, understand market trends, and build strong relationships with stakeholders to maintain competitiveness in the global market. Abstract

This research investigates the financial management proficiency essential for the success of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The study aims to explore the strategies employed by MSMEs to effectively manage their finances and navigate challenges. The research model adopts an interpretivist approach, utilizing semi-structured interviews with MSME owners and managers. A purposive sampling technique is employed to select participants representing diverse industries and geographic locations. Data analysis involves thematic coding to identify patterns, themes, and insights regarding financial management practices. Preliminary findings suggest a variety of strategies, including budgeting, cash flow management, and strategic investment decisions, play pivotal roles in MSME success. Additionally, the study identifies common challenges faced by MSMEs in financial management, such as limited access to financial resources and lack of financial literacy. This research contributes to understanding the nuanced dynamics of financial management within the MSME sector, providing valuable insights for policymakers, practitioners, and MSME owners striving for sustainable growth and success.

Abstract

This qualitative literature review explores the impact of HR digitalization and human resource analytics on organizational performance. The study highlights how the adoption of human resource information systems (HRIS) enhances operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making. HR analytics significantly contributes to identifying and addressing workforce challenges, thereby improving organizational performance. However, challenges such as data quality, analytical competence, and managerial support must be addressed to maximize the benefits of HR analytics. The review underscores the importance of top management support and a data-driven organizational culture for successful HR analytics implementation. Limitations include reliance on existing literature and potential publication bias. Future research should empirically investigate the causal relationships between HR digitalization, HR analytics, and organizational performance across diverse cultural and economic contexts.
