Abstract

This study was a pre-experimental design type of one-group pre-test post-test design. The research design was carried out in a single group, only in one class, there was no control class, so there was no comparison for measurements. The purpose of this study was to determine the learning outcomes of class X fashion design at SMK Sunan Drajat before and after the application of instructional video media, to determine the effect of applying learning videos on student learning outcomes for class X fashion design at SMK Sunan Drajat. Data collection techniques through cognitive and psychomotor tests. The data analysis method used is the average formula and t-test. The results of the study, (1) Obtained a pre-test average of 47.81 and a post-test average of 87.27. Then the results of the post-test scores increased by 39.46. (2) Based on the calculation results of the t-test, it shows results with a Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000<0.05. Thus T-count = 43.276 > T-table = 2.060 this means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. which means there is a significant influence on student learning outcomes in the subject of knowledge of textile materials for class X Fashion Design at SMK Sunan Drajat.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to determine 1) the implementation of learning on the elements of making basic patterns of the female body using video tutorial media, 2) student responses with the application of video tutorial media on the elements of making basic patterns of women's bodies, 3) the influence of video tutorial media on student learning outcomes. This research used a quantitative descriptive research method with research subjects of 34 students of Class X Fashion Design 1 SMK Negeri 3 Kediri.The research results show that: 1) The use of video tutorial media in implementing the learning process is categorized as very good so that it is very effective in teaching students; 2) The results of the student response questionnaire show that the average student response is interested in using video tutorials as a learning medium; 3) The learning outcomes of students who use video tutorial media increase significantly so that they are included in the complete category. The findings of this research are able to help students understand the material so as to achieve the completeness criteria in the KKTP (Learning Achievement Criteria). Apart from that, the application of video media can not only be applied in schools but students can apply video tutorials anywhere and anytime, therefore video tutorial media is said to be very good for application in learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the activities, responses and influence of students grades on the application of video tutorial-based learning media for making basic sewing stitches for class X Fashion Design 2 students at SMKN 3 Kediri. The type of approach used is a quantitative approach and a pre-experimental research design with one group pre-test and post-test. The subjects in this research were 32 students of Class X Fashion Design 2 at SMKN 3 Kediri. The method for collecting data is by using observation, tests, or questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive techniques. In the teacher observation data, all aspects received an average of 3.66 with very good criteria. Meanwhile, student observations got an average of 3.28 in the very good category. Student responses received an average of 93.8% in the very good category. Student learning outcomes using video tutorials achieved completeness with a classical percentage of 100%, namely with an average pre-test of 71.4 and post-test of 91.56. The findings of this research can help students understand the material so that they achieve completeness with a score that exceeds the minimum completeness criteria (KKM).
