This research was motivated by the existence of gim embroidery as a Surakarta-style bridal kebaya ornament with all limitations, such as the lack of craftsmen, the high cost of yarn materials, and competition with other ornamental techniques that are more developed. The purpose of this study is to describe the development of gim embroidery on Surakarta-style bridal kebaya. The method used is a qualitative grounded research model. Data were collected through interviews, observations, literature studies, artifact studies, and documentation. Data analysis is conducted interactively through data reduction, presentation, discussion, and conclusions. The results showed that the development of Surakarta-style bridal kebaya gim embroidery had at least three groups, namely the development of materials and techniques that still maintain motifs and patterns according to pakem, the development of motifs and designs that combine the characteristics of Surakarta style and Yogyakarta style, and the development of kebaya forms followed by the development of motifs and patterns. The development that was found can be used as a reference in the development of game embroidery not only in bridal kebayas but also in other forms of revitalization to preserve gim embroidery.Keywords: gim embroidery, Surakarta-style bridal kebaya, development concept.

The purpose of this study was to 1) find out the process of making manipulating cross stitched tucks on party dresses inspired by the Small Chateau in Versailles, 2) find out the finished results of party dresses using manipulating cross stitched tucks. The Small Chateau in Versailles was used as a source of inspiration because the interior of the pavilion featured decorations using decorative elements in the form of manipulated cross-stitched tucks inspired by the design of the stairs in the pavilion. Using the Double Diamond research method, which consists of 4 stages, namely Discover collecting ideas and information and then compiling them into a moodboard as a reference in the design process, Define developing ten design concepts which were then selected and realized into one final design that was most representative, Develop presenting design illustrations and technical drawings that describe the concept of clothing in detail, the last stage Deliver ensuring that the resulting product has met the established quality standards. The results of the study showed that the use of this technique was able to add artistic and textural dimensions to party dresses, because manipulating cross-stitched tucks resembled the stairs in the pavilion, creating an exclusive and characteristic appearance. The resulting design is able to present an elegant classic feel through decorative elements and innovative textile manipulation techniques, while remaining relevant to today's style.

Taman Baca Rumah Kita merupakan suatu wadah yang memberikan kesempatan bagi warga belajar untuk menambah pengetahuan dan keterampilan melalui program kegiatan yang diselenggarakan oleh Yayasan yang menaunginya. Berdasarkan analisis situasi terhadap kegiatan yang telah diselenggarakan selama ini, dapat dikatakan bahwa warga belajar masih kurang mendapatkan pembelajaran dan pendampingan dalam hal keterampilan membuat suatu karya, khususnya yang terkait dengan bidang busana/fashion. Kegiatan PKM ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan warga belajar dalam menerapkan Teknik bleaching pada T-Shirt, sekaligus warga belajar dapat menuangkan kreativitasnya dalam menghasilkan produk busana, dalam hal ini T-Shirt sebagai busana casual, yang memiliki nilai estetika. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan serta pembelajaran langsung, dengan pemberian materi dan demonstrasi oleh Tim PKM selaku narasumber. Kegiatan PKM ini melibatkan jumlah peserta sebanyak 18 orang. Hasil kegiatan PKM menunjukkan bahwa seluruh peserta dapat menerapkan Teknik bleaching pada T-Shirt dengan baik, yang menunjukkan kreativitasnya masing-masing. Evaluasi yang dilakukan berdasarkan hasil karya peserta, dapat dinilai dalam kategori sangat baik dan baik.

E-modul interaktif sebagai salah satu media pembelajaran yang mengandung materi, simulasi video, evaluasi belajar, serta tambahan fitur seperti permainan yang dirancang secara sistematis agar dapat memfasilitasi peserta didik dalam belajar mandiri. Adanya inovasi e-modul interaktif menjadikan minat belajar dan keaktifan akan pemahaman materi oleh peserta didik semakin meningkat. Berbagai fitur yang ada didalam e-modul interaktif dapat di manfaatkan juga untuk mengukur kemampuan peserta didik sehingga dapat memudahkan guru untuk menilai dan memberi bimbingan praktik pada peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan e-modul interaktif , mengetahui tingkat kelayakan e-modul, dan juga mendeskripsikan respon pesera didik kelas XI SMK Keahlian Tata Busana. Model ADDIE digunakan dalam penelitian pengembangan ini untuk menjelaskan terkait analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dari metode dokumentasi dan angket Validator e-modul, ditentukan sebanyak 4 ahli dibidang media, materi dan bahasa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : 1)Proses pengembangan e-modul interaktif dibantu aplikasi power point dalam proses menyusun materi sekaligus membuat desain dalam e-modul, dan flip pdf corporate untuk mengubah e-modul menjadi e-modul interaktif yang dapat di akses dengan mudah sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran, 2)Tingkat kelayakan e-modul interaktif pembuatan desain blus bagi peserta didik kelas XI SMK Keahlian Tata Busana di kategorikan sangat layak dengan indikator tingkat kelayakan media 92,5% , juga kelayakan materi dan bahasa sebesar 93,34%, dan 3)Respon siswa terhadap penerapan e-modul interaktif membuat desain blus sebesar 89,10% dengan kriteria respon sangat baik

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses dan hasil jadi penciptaan busana avant garde inspirasi kuil shinto dengan teknik surface cording dan tassel. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Double Diamond Model yang meliputi empat tahap, yaitu Discover, Define, Develop, dan Deliver. Discover yaitu tahap mencari inspirasi dengan mengumpulkan informasi dan memilih kuil shinto sebagai inspirasi busana avant garde. Define yaitu tahap menetapkan kuil shinto sebagai inspirasi. Develop yaitu tahap mengembangkan, menguji dan menyempurnakan prototype busana avant garde. Deliver yaitu tahap menyelesaikan busana avant garde dengan teknik surface cording dan tassel untuk dipilih dan disetujui. Penilaian hasil penciptaan dilakukan menggunakann lembar observasi yang dinilai oleh tiga ahli berdasarkan beberapa aspek, yaitu kreatifitas dan orisinalitas karya, penerapan teknik surface cording, penerapan teknik tassel, kombinasi teknik surface cording dan tassel, dan daya pakai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 4,42 dengan kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan teknik surface cording dan tassel mampu mendukung penciptaan busana avant garde yang dapat merepresentasikan elemen kuil shinto sebagai sumber inspirasi

Kain pelangi motif bintik lima merupakan salah satu warisan budaya tekstil khas Palembang yang memiliki nilai estetika tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses perancangan kain pelangi motif bintik lima Palembang dengan kombinasi teknik sashiko pada outer serta hasil akhir dari perancangan tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penciptaan karya menggunakan metode Double Diamond Model dari British Design Council yang terdiri dari empat tahapan.Tahap Discover dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data melalui studi literatur dan observasi mengenai motif bintik lima serta eksplorasi teknik sashiko yang berasal dari Jepang. Tahap Define dilakukan dengan menetapkan konsep perancangan yang mencakup aspek estetika, fungsi, teknik, bahan, serta segmentasi pasar, yang kemudian diwujudkan dalam bentuk moodboard berjudul “Anasera” dan sketsa desain outer. Tahap Develop merupakan tahapan prototype untuk menguji kelayakan. Tahap Deliver dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa lembar kuisoner dalam bentuk angket yang dibagikan kepada para ahli. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode rata-rata (mean).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi kain pelangi motif bintik lima dengan teknik sashiko pada outer memperoleh rata-rata nilai 4,43 (sangat baik) dari 4 aspek, yaitu aspek kreativitas dan orisinalitas karya, aspek komposisi dan tata letak sashiko, aspek warna, serta aspek fungsionalitas. Aspek dengan nilai tertinggi adalah aspek kreativitas dan orisinalitas karya dengan rata-rata 4,5, termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik.

Circular fashion is a concept that emphasizes sustainable fashion by utilizing waster materials to create new higher value product through upcycling. This upcycling principle has a positive impact on the environment by reducing waste and enhancing ther green branding of D4 Tata Busana study program. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of circular fashion in a merchandise prototype that represents the identity of the D4 Tata Busana study program. The ADDIE model, comprising Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation, was employed to assess how circular fashion designs strengthen the institution's identity. The development object consists of fashion miniature merchandise made from patchwork fabric waste generated through Teaching Factory (Tefa) practical activities. This study developed four merchandise prototypes for the D4 Fashion Design Study Program, with one prototype selected, earning a score of 37.5%. The evaluation involved 56 respondents and focused on two criteria: (1) originality and novelty, and (2) production needs feasibility. The evaluation results suggest that the chosen merchandise design is suitable for production, as 66% of respondents see the product as innovative. This study demonstrates the potential to develop an income-generating product with efficient production practices costs.

The purpose of this research is to create evening party wear with the idea of Palazzo Dandolo Venice as the source of inspiration, especially for the masquerade ball event. Through the application of gothic ornamental motifs in the room and furniture, manipulation techniques of draping and embroidery, S, I and A silhouettes, the use of gold champagne and dark purple, as well as sequins and masks as clothing decoration. This research is motivated by the need for innovation in evening party wear design that not only emphasizes the aesthetic aspect, but also has cultural and historical value. The research method uses the Double Diamond Method which consists of four stages. In the discover stage, data related to Palazzo Dandolo is collected and explored, including historical, cultural, and visual aspects. The define stage is carried out by analyzing data in the form of colors, materials, silhouettes, and techniques such as draping and embroidery which are outlined in a moodboard. In the develop stage, alternative designs are created, the best design is selected, and a prototype is developed. Deliver the prototype refinement and presented in a fashion show. The novelty of this research lies in the use of Palazzo Dandolo as a source of ideas combined with the iconic Venetian masquerade ball culture. Originality or added value of technical innovation research through the application of embroidery and draping manipulation, which enriches the texture, visual dimension, and artistic details of clothing. Sitorai Mokhi–Khosa Saroyi merupakan bangunan bersejarah yang memiliki arsitektur berbentuk sculptural dome, kaya akan ornamen geometris yang diwujudkan busana avant garde. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses dan hasil jadi busana avant garde sumber ide Sitorai Mokhi–Khosa Saroyi melalui penerapan teknik laser cutting dan padded quilting. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode double diamond yang didalamnya terdapat, tahapan discover melakukan suatu riset terhadap Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa Saroyi dan motif girikh. Tahapan define, menetapkan sumber ide dan mewujudkan penerapan teknik laser cutting dan padded quilting melalui busana. Tahapan develop, mengembangkan desain, pengujian, dan penyempurnaan prototype busana avant garde. Tahapan deliver, penyelesaian busana dan menampilkan hasil jadi busana. Hasil jadi busana avant garde sudah sesuai dengan harapan yang mendapatkan visual karakteristik segi avant garde dinilai tidak umum, siluet arsitektur dari penggabungan antara teknik laser cutting membentuk sebuah sculptural dome yang mewah dan volume besar menonjol serta padded quilting yang menciptakan suatu kesan modern dan elegant. Sehingga busana mendapatkan kesulitan pemakaian serta kesusahan dalam berjalan.
