Abstract

This study determines the effect of developing blended learning models using Edmodo on students’ critical thinking skills on impulse and momentum. The research method used in this study is ADDIE. The population in this study is class X MIA SMAN 4 Serang City. The sample of this study amounted to 31 students from class X MIA 2 as an experimental class using a blended learning model and 30 students from class X MIA 3 as a control class using a cooperative model. The test used in this study was seven indicators of critical thinking skills. These results indicate an increase in students’ critical thinking skills after being given treatment that is by using a blended learning model. The N-Gain value evidences a large increase in the experimental class that is 0.60 in the medium category and 0.23 in the low category in the control class. The average value of pretest and posttest is 5.27 and 9.77 in the control class, while in the experimental class is 5.65 and 16.61. These results show that there is an influence on the development of blended learning models for critical thinking skills on the momentum and impulses.

Abstract

Education in the digital era had shifted conventional learning methods to digital technology-based learning. Likewise with students have to be faced by pre-service physics teachers who have entered the generation of digital natives. However, is it true that the concept of digital natives exists? Moreover, whether pre-service physics teachers belong to that generation? Therefore, the objective of this study was to prove the construct validity of the Digital Natives Assessment Scale using data from pre-service physics teachers in Banten Province, Indonesia. And follow-up analysis is used to find the relationship between digital natives' status and pre-service physics teacher technology mastery. This study used a quantitative approach with the correlational method. The type of correlation research chosen was Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). The instrument used was a Digital Natives Assessment Scale (DNAS) questionnaire consisting of 21 items and four factors, measured using a 7-point scale. The results showed that this study could not prove the 4-factor DNAS model for pre-service teacher participants in Banten Province based on the results of the CFA. And there was no relationship between the status of digital natives and the level of technology mastery of pre-service teachers based on Pearson correlation analysis. So it can be concluded that using a sample of student-teacher candidates in Indonesia, the 4-factor DNAS cannot be proven construct validity. However, this decision is not final but should be tested on a larger scale to show DNAS matches.

Abstract

This study aimed to implement augmented physics animation integrated crosscutting concept COVID-19 in facilitating student problem-solving skills and disaster preparedness. This study used a quantitative approach. The research design chosen was a pre-experimental design with a posttest-only design with nonequivalent groups. The research was conducted at the Department of Physics Education, Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. All students of the department are the research population. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The number of 35 students entered the experimental group, and 36 students entered the comparison group. The results showed that a) there was no difference in students' mastery of problem-solving skills in the experimental and comparison group. Asymp. Sig indicates a value of 0.187 or > 0.05, so it can be decided that H1 was rejected. b) There was a difference in the level of student COVID-19 disaster preparedness between the experimental and the comparison group. Asymp indicated this. Sig was 0.012 or < 0.05, so it could be decided that H2 was accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of augmented physics animation on the mastery of student problem-solving skills has not yet been seen but can already be seen in facilitating the level of preparedness of students in dealing with the COVID-19 disaster.

Abstract

The learning model is a frame in a learning process that can support the achievement of learning objectives. This study aims to determine, 1) the learning model used in physics subjects in schools, 2) the obstacles faced by the teacher in applying the learning model, and 3) efforts to overcome the obstacles in applying the learning model to achieve learning objectives. This research method is qualitative research. The survey was conducted on one physics teacher and three students determined by random sampling—observation data collection using interviews and documentation systems. While the data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis technique. From the research results obtained that: 1) the learning model carried out in the learning process at SMAN 9 Kota Tangerang Selatan Banten is CL (Cooperative Learning) and CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning), 2) the constraints faced by the teacher when implementing the learning model are the ability students who are lacking in understanding the concepts of physics so that the difficulty in solving problems and challenges in choosing the equations used, 3) efforts to overcome the obstacles in using learning models are needed to develop appropriate learning models such as STEM-based CTL models that make students construct their knowledge.

Abstract

Pengetahuan technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK) merupakan kompetensi yang sangat penting dimiliki oleh guru di masa ini terutama masa pandemi covid-19 ketika pembelajaran dituntut untuk online. Pengetahuan TPACK ini biasanya diukur secara umum mengenai kemampuan guru dalam membuat teknologi dalam pembelajaran, belum ada instrumen TPACK yang khusus menggali pengetahuan guru fisika mengenai integrasi kemampuan konten, pedagogik, dan teknologi secara utuh. Maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan self assessment TPACK untuk guru fisika. Penelitian pengembangan instrumen ini menggunakan metode R & D yang diukur dengan sructural equation modelling (SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 15 item instrumen TPACK valid untuk menilai TPACK guru fisika.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic there were still many people who ignored health protocols and also many were affected by the economy. Therefore, the student work study (KKM) of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University is to provide education to the public to be alert, alert and resilient to face the covid-19 outbreak. The population of activities in Turus village is all residents because the intended target is that all residents can carry out health protocols, and those who are productive can create jobs, and those who are still in school can learn well even at home. The method of implementing this KKM is a program oriented towards community assistance in the economic field, exploring local potential, a combination of online media in preparing human resource potential. Some of the results achieved in this service are the understanding of residents about covid-19, how to prevent and make their own personal protective equipment in the form of masks without sewing machines and hand sanitizers, also providing online tutoring for students, and socializing training on making aquaponics for fish and plant cultivation and help create an online media shop to promote citizen entrepreneurship. Abstrak Di masa pandemi covid-19 ini masih banyak masyarakat yang mengabaikan protokol kesehatan dan juga banyak yang terdampak perekonomiannya. Oleh karena itu kuliah kerja mahasiswa (KKM) Universitas sultan ageng Tirtayasa adalah memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat untuk siaga, sigap dan Tangguh menghadapi bencana wabah covid-19. Populasi kegiatan di desa Turus adalah seluruh warga karena sasaran yang dituju adalah seluruh warga dapat menjalankan protokol kesehatan, dan untuk yang produktif dapat membuat lapangan pekerjaan, serta yang masih bersekolah dapat belajar dengan baik meskipun dirumah. Metode pelaksanaan KKM ini yakni program berorientasi kepada pendampingan masyarakat dalam bidang ekonomi, menggali potensi lokal, kombinasi media daring dalam mempersiapkan potensi sumber daya manusia. Beberapa hasil yang dicapai dalam pengabdian ini adalah pemahaman warga mengenai covid-19, cara mencegah hingga membuat sendiri alat pelindung diri berupa masker tanpa mesin jahit dan hand sanitizer, juga memberikan bimbingan belajar online bagi siswa, dan mensosialisasikan pelatihan pembuatan akuaponik budidaya ikan dan tanaman serta membantu membuatkan media online shop untuk mempromosikan wirausaha warga.

Abstract

Salah satu kompetensi yang harus dikuasai guru adalah penguasaan bidang studi baik disiplin ilmu (diciplinary content) maupun bahan ajar dalam kurikulum sekolah (pedagogical content). Permasalahan yang dihadapi MGMP IPA Rayon 1 dan 2, Kabupaten Pandeglang berkaitan dengan penguasaan bidang Fisika, diantaranya masih minimnya pemahaman dalam konsep listrik dinamis. Untuk memfasilitasi kompetensi dan memberikan solusi terhadap permasalahan tersebut maka Jurusan Pendidikan Fisika melaksanakan pengabdian dalam bentuk pendampingan pendalaman konsep listrik dinamis. Metode yang digunakan diantaranya presentasi, diskusi, demonstrasi, dan praktikum. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kelulusan guru lebih dari 75% dari setiap soal yang diberikan. Maka dapat disimpulkan kegiatan pengabdian telah berhasil dilaksanakan dengan baik, dan guru telah menguasai konsep listrik dinamis dengan baik.

Abstract

Abstract Classroom Action Research (CAR) is a basic need that must be done by a teacher to find problems in their class to find the right solution in order to produce effective learning. In order to support this CAR for elementary school teachers, this service activity was carried out. This service aims to motivate teachers to carry out CAR, provide understanding to mentoring, from planning the CAR to making the final report. The method of community service is training, implementing and mentoring CAR activities. All activities were carried out online during the Covid-19 pandemic. This activity was attended by elementary school teachers from West Java and Banten. The training process is carried out online by describing material about CAR and discussions until the teachers find problems in their class. After that the implementation of each CAR cycle was recorded and then sent for discussion together. Assistance in making CAR proposals, improving learning every cycle, and making the final report were carried out intensively for one month. The results of this dedication show that teachers have increased their understanding of CAR. Through the results of the questionnaire, it was found that the understanding of CAR was increased, many ideas emerged to become problems and solutions in the CAR. So that they are motivated to carry out CAR to solve other problems in their class. Abstrak Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) merupakan suatu kebutuhan dasar yang harus dilakukan oleh seorang guru untuk menemukan masalah di dalam kelasnya hingga menemukan solusi yang tepat agar menghasilkan pembelajaran yang efektif. Guna mendukung PTK ini untuk guru-guru sekolah dasar maka dilaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian ini. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memotivasi guru untuk melaksanakan PTK, memberi pemahaman hingga pendampingan dari mulai perencanaan PTK sampai pembuatan laporan akhir. Metode dalam pengabdian adalah pelatihan, penerapan dan pendampingan kegiatan PTK. Seluruh kegiatan dilakukan secara online dalam masa pandemi covid-19. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh guru-guru sekolah dasar dari Jawa Barat dan Banten. Proses pelatihan dilakukan secara online dengan menjabarkan materi mengenai PTK dan diskusi hingga para guru menemukan masalah dalam kelasnya. Setelah itu penerapan setiap siklus PTK direkam lalu dikirim untuk didiskusikan bersama. Pendampingan pembuatan proposal PTK, perbaikan pembelajaran setiap siklus, hingga pembuatan laporan akhir dilakukan secara intensif selama satu bulan. Hasil dari pengabdian ini memperlihatkan guru-guru mengalami peningkatan pemahaman mengenai PTK. Melalui hasil kuesioner didapatkan peningkatan pemahaman PTK, banyak ide yang muncul untuk dijadikan masalah dan solusi dalam PTK. Sehingga mereka termotivasi untuk melaksanakan PTK untuk menyelesaikan masalah lain di kelasnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika materi pecahan melalui model pembelajaran pmri pada peserta didik kelas III B SDN Banjarbendo. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode penelitian PTK yang dilakukan melalui dua siklus. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif, data dikumpulkan dengan lembar observasi serta tes hasil belajar. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III B yang berjumlah 22 siswa, terdiri dari 14 laki-laki dan 8 perempuan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik yang sebelumnya sebanyak 77% peserta didik yang tidak tuntas. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan model pembelajaran PMRI, model pembelajaran PMRI dianggap mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas III-B pada materi pecahan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari data hasil belajar peserta didik yang diperoleh setelah diterapkan siklus I menunjukkan ketuntasan belajar mencapai 68%, dan setelah dilakukan siklus II ketuntasan belajar peserta didik naik menjadi 72%. Berdasarkan analisis data tersebut maka peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran PMRI pada materi pecahaan mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas III-B SDN Banjarbendo
