Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation, effectiveness, constraints, and solutions for the implementation of audio-visual media using the point-counterpoint strategy in class XI TKJ A SMK Adi Sumarmo Colomadu in the 2020/2021 school year. This study used a mixed-methods approach with a sequential exploratory design. Samples were taken using purposive sampling with a total of 28 students. Qualitative data collection techniques were interviews, observations, documentation, while quantitative data were analyzed using the Paired Sample T-Test hypothesis test. Test the validity of the data using triangulation of sources and techniques. The validity test using Correlation Product Moment with a significant level of 5% obtained a price of 0.444 and reliability using KR 20 with a result of 0.653. The qualitative analysis uses flow model analysis, while the quantitative analysis uses descriptive statistics. The results of this study are the implementation of audio-visual media to improve students' critical thinking using a point-counterpoint strategy by providing material through WhatsApp Group in the form of video. The effectiveness of the implementation of audio-visual media using the point-counterpoint strategy can be seen from the average results of the pretest 54.5 and posttest 81.6, with a total of 20 questions greater than T table (15,144 > 1,700). In this study, there were obstacles such as time constraints related to the implementation of the research. An alternative solution to overcome these obstacles is that researchers arrive earlier than the research schedule and must manage time well.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe understanding, perception, and problem solving for a non-medical student applying the digital literacy associated with responding to the hoax of Instagram. The study uses a qualitative approach with a theoretical design. It is often misused to disseminate information quickly but incorrectly. The research informant consists of the study program chairman, lecturer, and student elect using a sampling technique. The data-gathering techniques of this research use interviews, observation, and documentation. The validity test of data uses source triangulation and technical triangulation. Data analysis in this research uses analysis content. According to the study, non-government students have the ability to search out valid information and minimally disseminate hoax information that can lead to conflict. They claim the perception that digital literacy is important to strengthen unity in character. The application of digital literacy is important for finding the right news, making it easy to get the full information, and making a significant contribution to minimizing the spread of hoaxes in Instagram use, as well as an integral part in strengthening the character of unity, thus reducing the impact of the spread of hoax information that could divide the nation. At first glance, students have the digital literacy ability to respond to hoaxes by finding out the truth first though.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pendampingan adaptasi teknologi melalui pemanfaatan media blog sebagai sistem pengelolaan informasi di sekolah dasar. Fokus utama pengabdian ini adalah penggunaan blog sebagai media sosialisasi dan pendampingan adaptasi teknologi dalam mengelola informasi yang dilaksanakan satu pekan dua kali melalui program kampus mengajar. Subjek dalam pengabdian ini adalah guru dan operator sekolah di SD 6 Terban. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi dengan metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan sosialisasi ini sejatinya memberikan pemahaman sekaligus menyadarkan staf kependidikan mengenai pentingnya penggunaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Pendampingan ini dilakukan dengan tiga tahapan yaitu (1) Membimbing dan menjelaskan kepada staf kependidikan, (2) Melaksanakan tanya jawab dan koordinasi kolaboratif melalui Focus Grup Discusion (FGD), serta (3) Melakukan pengelolaan data secara valid dan penyebaran informasi kepada khalayak umum. Penggunaan media blog ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan mutu pendidikan sekaligus potensi staf kependidikan dalam memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penguatan kompetensi civic disposition dalam membentuk sikap disiplin siswa SMP Negeri 2 Sawit melalui kegiatan Pramuka. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu pembina Pramuka, kesiswaan, dan siswa SMP Negeri 2 Sawit. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penguatan kompetensi civic disposition dalam membentuk sikap disiplin di sekolah tidak hanya dapat dilakukan dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas saja, tetapi dapat dilakukan di luar kelas yaitu ekstrakurikuler. Ekstrakurikuler yang mampu menanamkan dan menumbuhkan sikap disiplin yaitu salah satunya kegiatan Pramuka. Kegiatan Pramuka mampu menumbuhkan kedisiplinan siswa SMP Negeri 2 Sawit melalui mentaati dan menjalankan tata tertib yang telah disepakati, serta dapat melalui kegiatan PBB. Dalam mentaati tata tertib yaitu salah satunya semua anggota Pramuka wajib untuk datang tepat waktu, dengan demikian hal tersebut dapat membentuk sikap disiplin pada siswa. Kemudian, dalam kegiatan PBB siswa diharuskan untuk melalukan gerakan serentak yang betujuan untuk menumbuhkan sikap disiplin. Dengan demikian, siswa dalam menjalankan bentuk kegiatan Pramuka tersebut dengan baik mampu menanamkan dan menumbuhkan sikap disiplin pada siswa.

Abstract

This study reviews the objectives of the character development activity concept and its application as a vehicle for improving student character in the school environment and the environment where they live. The subjects of this study were students, teachers and employees of SMK Negeri 8 Surakarta. The research data was taken from the results of observations, and interviews with several parties. The method in this study uses a qualitative description. This study describes the results that character building activities are carried out once a week on Tuesdays for 30 minutes, starting from 07.00-07.30 before the activity begins. Character building activities can also produce students to have noble character, be honest, moral, tolerant, care for others, work together, have faith, not only that, with character building activities once a week, it will provide anticorruption values since early to every student that is rife at this time. So that this activity is currently good and it is recommended for educations to continue to develop and carry out character building activities so that they become activities that have an impact on improving the quality of student learning and making students have good character.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how to strengthen the religious character of SMP N 3 Kartasura students by carrying out the habit of writing Al-Qur`an verses for female students when they are experiencing menstruation which is routinely done every Friday. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The subject of this research is addressed to female students. The object taken from this research is the habit of writing the holy verses of the Al- Qur'an. data collection techniques using observation techniques and also documentation. This research instrument uses an interactive model consisting of data collection, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that: 1) strengthening character education is carried out continuously between students and teachers through a habituation program, 2) strengthening religious character through the habit of routinely writing Al- Qur`an verses which are routinely carried out every Friday, 3) writing verses The Holy Al-Qur'an is proven to be able to strengthen the religious character of SMP N 3 Kartasura students.
