Abstract: This research was conducted based on the changes of the procedure of child adoption in Tambusai Tengah village where families are not following the customary rules of Batak Toba tradition in adopting children by not only adopting boys but also adopting more girls. Furthermore, the adoptive children are from close relatives, not-so close relatives (there are also illegitimate children), 11 families even did not ask for court decisions in the adoption process but only followed the local custom. Mangain tradition which exists in Tambusai Tengah village is not fully appropriate with the customary rules of Batak Toba tradition in which some of the rules had been changed or added. The formulation of the problem in this research is how the realization of rules and the process of child adoption are and the implementation of the position of adoptive children of the Batak Toba tradition in Tambusai Tengah village. The purpose of this research is to find out the realization of rules and the process of child adoption are and the implementation of the position of adoptive children of the Batak Toba tradition in Tambusai Tengah village. The method of this research is descriptive qualitative. The data were analyzed by data analysis technique which is the oral words and the behavior of respondents. The results of the questionnaire and interviews showed that the rules of child adoption in Tambusai Tengah village is 70.1% appropriate with the customary rules of Batak Toba tradition and the inappropriate rules is 29.9%. The implementation of the position of adoptive children is 100% accordance to the Batak Toba tradition. Furthermore, the process of children adoption in Tambusai Tengah village is 43% appropriate with the customary rules of Batak Toba tradition while 57% is inappropriate.Keywords : Children Adoption, Batak Toba Tradition

Abstrak:This research is motivated by factors that affect students in violating the rules of school in MTs Al Falah Jatibaru Bungaraya District Siak Regency. The formulation of the problem in this researchis "what are the factors that influence students in violating the rules of school in schools in MTs Al Falah Jatibaru Bungaraya District Siak Regency ?. This study aims to analyze and describe the factors that affect students in violating the rules of school in MTs Al-Falah Jatibaru Bungaraya District Siak Regency. " This research was conducted at MTs Al-Falah Jatibaru Bungaraya on October 14-22, 2019 ". This research is quantitative descriptive. The population in this study amounted to 75 students. The sample in this study was taken from all classes. Analysis of the data of this study will conduct exploitation, describing a phenomenon that applies on the basis of data obtained in the field. Based on the results of this study indicate that there are two factors that influence students violating school rules, namely internal factors 30.28% and external, external factors that influence in this study amounted to 36.57% meaning that there are external factors that influence students violating school rules at MTsAl Falah Jatibaru Bungaraya District Siak Regency.KeyWords: Influence factors, violators of the school rules

Abstract: This research is motivated by problems that arise from interviews conducted by researchers ie students in SMA Negeri 1 have a bad attitude of discipline. The school has made various rules or rules along with severe sanctions with point system and additional punishment, this is done to foster discipline in student. The purpose of this study to determine the effect of implementation of disciplinary sanctions on the discipline and effectiveness of the implementation of sanctions against student discipline in SMA Negeri 1 Tapung Hiir Kampar Regency. This research method using quantitative descriptive analysis, the data in the analysis by using simple linear regression. Based on the results of research can be concluded that the percentage of respondents' responses recapitulation answer about the effect of implementation of sanctions against student discipline in SMA Negeri 1 Tapung Hilir Kampar Regancy, The effect of sanctions on student discipline in SMA Negeri 1 Tapung Hilir Kabupaten Kampar is 63%. Implementation Effective sanctions in the formation of discipline. This can be seen from 64.4% of respondents who stated that the implementation of sanctions in SMA Negeri 1 Tapung Hilir Kampar Regency included in the category is quite good or quite effective.Keyword : Implementation of sanction, discipline of student

Abstract: This study aims to determine the Types of Leadership of theCommander and Deputy Commander of Battalion 041 / Indrabuana University StudentRegiment, Riau University. The formulation of the problem in this study is What is thetype of leadership of the Commander and Deputy Commander of the Student Regimentin the University of Riau Student Regiment UKM. This research uses a qualitativeapproach. The informants examined using the Snowball sampling technique were theRiau University Student Regiment Commander, Deputy University Regiment StudentCommander, Head of Operations Section III, Head of Section IV Logistics, andMembers of the Riau University Student Regiment. Data collection techniques arecarried out through observation, interviews and documentation. Abstrack: University of Riau students who were in the media spotlight both nationally and regionally due to the movement of students who demonstrated. Seen some of the Government's strategic buildings become places where students convey their aspirations. But the accusation is that the student movement is a practical political movement, selling idealism, and agents of certain political parties. So the author wants to analyze how the characteristics and driving factors of the University of Riau student movement. This research method is descriptive qualitative. The research instrument used was a questionnaire consisting of 31 and interviews. Data analysis techniques using the formula P = f / Nx100% to find out the percentage of answers from respondents. Based on the results of the study that the movements of the University of Riau students have the following characteristics, (1). Spontaneous, (2). Non structural pattern, (3). Not a political agent. (4). Has a wide network. (5). The student movement is under the direction of a long-term organization. (6). The student movement aims to influence and suppress government policies and make political changes, (7). The student movement is carried out with full awareness. (8). The student movement does not form official institutions such as political parties, but rather embodies the collective movement. (9). The student movement has ideology. (10). In holding a collective action the student movement displays strategic issues in the means of mass mobilizing and streamlining the action. (11). The student movement is anti-violence. While the driving factors of the Riau university student movement consist of: (1). Moving students is born by conditions that provide opportunities for the movement. (2). The student movement arises because of dissatisfaction and reaction to social, political, economic, and clogged channels of democracy. (3). Students move because there is no respect for local norms. Abstract: This study aims to determine the implementation of noble character values honest, trustworthy, hard work, thrifty, harmonious, trustworthy, and cooperation Good students of the Pondok Pesantren Pelajar dan Mahasiswa Miftahul Huda, Pekanbaru. In data processing the researcher uses quantitative data analysis. The sample of this study was 51 students of Pondok Pesantren Pelajar dan Mahasiswa Miftahul Huda Pekanbaru City, consisting of 4 students and 47 students. The data retrieval technique used by researchers is to use questionnaires / questionnaires to students, interviews with teacher boards, and observation or seeing directly to the field. The author formulates research problems, namely „'How are the implementation of noble character values carried out at the Pondok Pesantren Pelajar dan Mahasiswa Miftahul Huda?'. The benefit for board administrators is to be able to map and design the implementation of noble character values so that it can run optimally, it is expected to be a material for evaluation and stabilization in the character building of the students. After doing the research, it can be concluded that the implementation of noble character values has gone well, but the need for development in applying them. The results of data processing show that the percentage of respondents' answers as a whole is quite good as much as 54.21% which is located in rank 50% - 75%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the study of the implementation of noble behavioral values at the Pondok Pesantren Pelajar dan Mahasiswa Miftahul Huda Pekanbaru City was carried out reasonably well.Key Words: Implementation, Noble Character Values

Abstract: This research was motivated for a custom which is the original custom of Kabupaten Rokan Hulu, wherein it can be said that no matter the law, this custom must be implemented. But, in fact, this “Adat Upah-upah” is running only for several people, the remainders do not. It motivated the writer to take a title “A Study on the People’s Perception toward “Adat Upah-upah” in Desa Pematang Berangan Kecamatan Rambah Kabupaten Rokan Hulu”. The objective of the research is to find out the people’s perception toward “Adat Upah-upah” in DesaPematang Berangan Kecamatan Rambah Kabupaten Rokan Hulu. The population of the research was 353 KK, and the sample of the research was 35 persons. The instrument to collect the data were questionnaires which consist of 16 questions and interviews which consist of 4 questions. The data was analyzed by Qualitative Descriptive through percentage. Based on the calculation of percentage by respondents, the answer “good” was obtained as 60,17% placed on rank 50,01%-75,00%. Thus, the hyphothesis which explains the people’s perception that was “good” toward “Adat Upah-upah” in Desa Pematang Berangan Kecamatan Rambah Kabupaten Rokan Hulu, was accpeted. Based on the research finding, it can be inferred that a study on the people’s perception toward “Adat Upah-upah” in Desa Pematang Berangan Kecamatan Rambah Kabupaten Rokan Hulu was good. Abstract: This study was motivated by the low motivation to learn civics student at SMPN 1 Base Dimples Pelalawan. The problem of pene; otian is: "is there a difference motivation to learn civics that using the conventional method socrates seminar at SMPN 1 Base Dimples Pelalawan?". This study aims to determine the difference motivation to learn civics students who use the conventional method socrates seminar in SMP Negeri 1 Base Dimples Pelalawan.Penelitian District was conducted in SMP Negeri 1 Base Dimples Pelalawan in January 2015. This study is a descriptive research into population kuantitatifyang in this research is class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Base Dimples Pelalawan. The sample in this study was based technique of "purposive sampling".Where take classes in the sample is VIII A (control group) students were given a lecture, and class VIII B (grade Experiment ) students were given a seminar Socratic method and then the data analysis using the homogeneity test and test "t". Research conducted found that there are differences in student motivation anatara Socratic seminars methods and conventional methods in SMP Negeri 1 Base Dimples Pelalawan (t = 8.8 > table = 1.67). Where there is an average increase motivation to learn civics class control of 23.25 into 24.96 and an average increase motivation to learn civics class experiment of 23.12 to 30.25. So the authors take the title of the research "Factors Causing the Lack of Interest of Young Generation Interest in the Adoration of Promising in Daik Lingga Regency, Riau Islands Province" The formulation of the problem in this study is what factors cause the lack of interest of the Young Generation in the Adoration Tradition in Daik Lingga Regency, Riau Islands Province? The purpose of this study was to determine the factors causing the lack of interest of the younger generation in the tradition of Adoration in Daik Lingga Regency, Riau Islands Province. Abstract: This research is based on the change of canang tradition in the era of modernization in Teluk Beringin Village where nowadays cotton tools are not used but have been replaced with microphone loudspeakers. It used to be that all information in the government was conveyed through the canang either in order to meetings for deliberations in making certain decisions as well as for social activities but now delivered using microphone, in surau or in the mosque. Problem rumors are: (1) What aspects are changing in canang tradition in the era of modernization? (2) What factors caused the change of the canang tradition in the era of modernization? Objectives of the study (1) To know what aspects are changing in the tradition of canang in the era of modernization. (2) To know the factors that caused the change of canang tradition in the era of modernization. This research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques in this study are, Observation, Documentation, Interview, Review Library, Questionnaire. The respondents of this study were the Head of Family. The sample size is 52 samples. The result of the research shows that the factors that caused the change of canang tradition in the era of modernization in Teluk Beringin Village, Gunung Toar Sub-district of Kuantan Singingi Regency are new discoveries, other cultural influences, and increase and decrease of population. And the Changing Aspects in canang Tradition in the era of modernization in Teluk Beringin Village, Gunung Toar Subdistrict, Kuantan Singingi Regency are Equipment, Working Mode, Language, Time, and Beat rhythm.Key Words: Change, Canang Tradition, Modernization.
