Abstract

Abstract. This research is motivated by low yields social studies fourth grade students of SDN 003 Pelintung Kecamatan Medang Kampai Dumai. For that teachers use berfariatif learning model that can improve learning outcomes. The problem of this research is the application of the model Is STAD cooperative learning can improve learning outcomes IPS 003 fourth grade students of SDN Pelintung Kecamatan Medang Kampai Dumai?. This study aims to improve the results of the fourth grade social studies SDN 003 Pelintung Kecamatan Medang Kampai Dumai with the application of STAD cooperative learning model to material technology development. The design of this study is action research (CAR) conducted as many as two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings and one-time daily tests. Obtained from this study of student learning outcomes. Student learning outcomes data after learning using STAD cooperative learning model based on the base score is 58.5% increase in the first cycle an average of 69.0% sufficient category and the second cycle an average of 82.0% is very good. While the activities of teachers also increased from 58.35% to 91.65% less of a category of either category once and student activity 83.74% to 94.59% category either be very good category. From this study it can be concluded that the application of Cooperative Learning Model of type Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) can improve learning outcomes IPS 003 fourth grade students of SDN Pelintung Kecamatan Medang Kampai Dumai. Abstract

ABSTRACT. This research is motivated by the low value of math. Preliminary data result of learning students of class IVB of 106 elementary school Pekanbaru is from the 30 students, only 13 peoples or 43,44% completed or reached the KKM and 17 peoples or 56,67% were not completed. Based on these problems, it is necessary given way to solve the problem include applying Quantum Teaching model. Quantum Teaching give an opportunity for students to learn with a pleasant atmosphere and engaging students to increase math studies. Data collection instrument on this research are observation sheet activities of teacher and student, and learning outcomes. Subjects in this research were students of class IVB of 106 elementary school Pekanbaru. This research was conducted in three cycles, by doing the daily test of the end of each cycle. The result of this research shows that the Quantum Teaching model can increase math studies, completeness math learning outcomes in first cycle is 66,67%, in second cycle increased to 93,33% and reach 100% in third cycle.Keywords : Quantum Teaching Models, Mathematics Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract. This research is motivated by low yields social studies Student Class V Prosperous Bay Elementary School 006, Average - The average grade 55 with a minimum completeness criteria values ​​(KKM) IPS is 70 students totaling 20 people only 10 students who reached the KKM. And that does not reach the KKM 10 people. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) conducted aims to improve learning outcomes IPS Elementary School fifth grade students by applying 006 Prosperous Bay STAD cooperative learning model. Formulation of the problem: Is the implementation of STAD cooperative learning model to improve learning outcomes IPS Elementary School fifth grade students 006 Prosperous Bay. This study was conducted on April 7, 2014 to April 17, 2014 with two cycles. The subjects were students of class V Elementary School 006 Gulf Makmur which about 20 people were used as a source of data. Data collection instruments in this thesis is the teacher and student activity sheets and learning outcomes. Article this study presents the results obtained from the value of the daily tests before treatment with an average of 55, increased in the first cycle with the average being 77.5. In the second cycle increases with - average 85 Activity of teachers in the learning process in the first cycle of the meeting 58.33%, the second meeting increased to 62.5%. Cycle II meeting the 70.8% (Enough), the second meeting be 79.16% (Good). The results of the data analysis of student activity at the first meeting of the cycle with an average of 54.16% second meeting be 66.6%, the second meeting of the Cycle to increase to 75% (enough) the second meeting increased to 83.3% (good). Based on the research results in class V Prosperous Bay Elementary School 006 that the application of STAD cooperative learning model to improve learning outcomes IPS Elementary School fifth grade students 006 Prosperous Bay.
