Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of energy use and savings opportunities that can be obtained from a room based on IKE value. The intensity of energy consumption (IKE) is a term that used to determine levels of energy consumption in a building. IKE value is calculated based on the number of electric power used by all existing electrical equipment in a room and then divided by the area of the room. To find out how much energy usage level of a room or a building IKE value calculations and compared with the standard IKE value. IKE value will determine the criteria of a room using electricity in this category can be wasteful or not in use electrical energy. When the results were equal to or less than the target IKE, the energy audit activities can be stopped or continued with the hope that IKE values obtained Lower again. The results showed that of the 708 rooms have been evaluated including 136 belonging to wasteful use of electricity, with the savings opportunities that can be done as much asRp 17.686.222 per month.   Keywords : energy audit, energy consumption intensity.

Abstract

Sigi is one of the youngest district in Central Sulawesi province was divided in 2008. Of the 152 villages, 10 villages are experiencing conflicts between residents. Bora Village and Village Vatunonju which is approximately 20 km from the city of Palu is 2 villages among the 10 villages that are often in conflict. Sources of conflict in general stems from a fight between youth. Increasing the number of teenagers who drop out of school temporarily limited employment is one of the problems that often lead to fights among youth. The low work skills possessed by the youth of this area is an issue that must look for solutions so that they can open up and explore job opportunities. This training aims to provide job skills for young people who are still out of school age. With a working capital given the skills they are expected to open and fill vacancies in areas Sigi continues to build. The training activities carried out for 8 months and was attended by 20 people. After the activity the participants are able to operate Microsoft Word and Excel. Although not all of the material provided can be controlled but this training provides many benefits. Especially for trainee electrical installations are already some people who often help people when there are problems in their electrical istalasi, there's even working at the company electrical installer. Abstract

Red chili is one type of vegetable that is quite important in Indonesia, both as a commodity consumed domestically and as an export commodity. Red chili production in Indonesia is still relatively low. The choice of chili plants in this research is based on the high market demand for chili commodities, however, to meet the demand which continues to increase every year, it is necessary to increase chili production through intensification or extensification. Weather factors have a big influence on the development of chili plants. During the long dry season, chili plants cannot grow well, this is due to the lack of water available for the plant's needs, which increases pest attacks. Another factor is excess soil moisture which can trigger chili plants to rot and die. To make it easier to cultivate chili plants, innovation needs to be carried out to help chili cultivators manage their chili plant cultivation, therefore by using the Plantation Irrigation System Automation tool using the Drip Method with Photovoltaic as an Energy Source it is hoped that this can be an innovation in managing the cultivation of chili plants, especially in controlling soil moisture in chili plants.

Abstract

The waste problem in Indonesia is a complex and evolving environmental issue, particularly in areas with high population density and economic activity. This study aims to cluster regions affected by waste issues using the Density-Based Spatial Clustering of Applications with Noise (DBSCAN) algorithm. DBSCAN was chosen for its ability to identify spatial patterns and detect outliers without requiring a predefined number of clusters. The data used includes spatial and non-spatial information related to waste volume and regional characteristics across various provinces in Indonesia. The results show that DBSCAN effectively groups waste-affected areas into several clusters based on data density and spatial proximity. These clusters can serve as a foundation for determining policy priorities for regional and national waste management. This research is expected to contribute to the development of more targeted and data-driven waste management strategies.

Abstract

Currently, the energy we use is still using fossil energy. In the future, the need for energy will increase because every year there is a large population growth. If you still use fossil energy and don’t find new energy alternatives, then Indonesia will experience a severe energy crisis and certain places will experience blackouts. One of the efforts so that the wind energy crisis can be minimized is to utilize natural energy that has the potensial to generate energy such as the Wind Power Plant. In this study, planning and simulation of Wind Power Plant were carried out to help reduce the use of fossil energy and help the needs of the community in the Talise Beach area. From the results of the study that the average output of wind turbine production is 1,180/hour winh a maximum production of wind turbines per day of 5,665 kW and the construction system cost (NPC) of Rp. 91,340,660,000. Electrical energy that can be generated from wind turbines by utilizing an area of about 42,021.67 m2 is 10,332,498 kWh/year with a total unfulfilled power of 1,416 kW/year. Lack of power or unmet load can be overcome by the existence of a grid/network.

Abstract

The predictive torque control (PTC) technique of electric motor drive is based on the principle that the determined optimum voltage vector will be applied to the motor in the next cycle. If a three-phase inverter is used, this inverter can only realize eight different switching states. One of the eight switching states is used as the optimum inverter switching state for the next cycle. PTC with one-step prediction cannot obtain an experimental motor speed control, because in the real-time implementation, there is a single sampling delay between input and optimal actuation due to a large number of real time calculations. The delay time problem could be solved by modifying the optimization steps by using the two-step prediction of PTC model. The experimental results show that the motor can follow the reference speed and command torque in the step response and variable speed experiments. In variable speed experiment, good speed and torque dynamics can be achieved by selecting the proportional gain value that corresponds to the motor speed

Abstract

A solar tracker is a photovoltaic (PV) system support tool aimed at optimizing solar energy absorption by directing solar cells to follow the movement of the sun.In this research, a solar tracker for PV with battery load model was created using MATLAB-Simulink with each controller, namely Proportional Integral (PI), Proportional Derivative (PD) and Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) and the simulation results were compared. The simulation results show that the PID controller is the controller with the most optimal results because all set point values entered in the output remain the same and the overshoot value is also low, the PD controller is the controller that produces high errors and also overshot reaching 120 V, and the PI controller is the controller that the results are closest to a PID controller where the resulting overshoot value is only around 20%.
