Abstract

Untuk menyelesaikan studi aliran daya dengan metode iterasi (numerik) telah banyakdikembangkan dengan menggunakan komputer digital. Bermacam metode penyelesaianstudi aliran daya telah semakin banyak dikembangkan sejalan dengan makin berkembangnyakonfigurasi jaringan sistem tenaga, baik dalam perencanaan, pengembangan, maupunpengoperasian. Sampai saat ini beberapa metode yang sering dipelajari adalah MetodeGauss Seidel, Metode Newton Rhapson, Metode Decoupled, dan MetodeFast Decoupled.Masing-masing metode untuk analisa aliran daya mempunyai kekurangan dan kelebihan satusama lain.Dalam Jurnal ini penulis akan membandingkan keandalan antara metode Gauss-Seidel danmetode Newton Raphson dalam menyelesaikan masalah aliran daya untuk mengetahuikelebihan dan kekurangan masing-masing metode. Dari hasil simulasi didapat metode NewtonRaphson lebih sesuai untuk menghitung aliran beban pada sistem dengan jumlah yang besar,dan kurang sesuai untuk sistem kecil, sedang metode Gauss-Seidel bersifat sebaliknya.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of the protection system reliability steam turbine generator at Camming Sugar Factory in Bone regency against short circuit. Generator protection system reliability at Camming Sugar Factory in 1996 to 2003 reliability configuration is 1. In 2004 to 2007, the series reliability configuration is 0.9994, reliability parallel configuration is 1.0 and backup configuration is 0.9995. In 2008 to 2011, the series and parallel configurations reliability is 1, while the backup configuration is 0.9998. In 2012, the series reliability configuration are 0.9998, parallel eliability,configuration is  0.0007 and backup configuration reliability is 1. This shows that the generator protection system reliability at Camming Sugar Factory classified very well.

Abstract

A good lighting system has to meet three criteria; quality and quantity of light and efficient powerconsumption. A good lighting room will help effective activities inside the laboratorium. To achieve an optimum lighting, natural light has to be considered in the installation design. Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has an area of sea three times larger than the land area. In line with the rapid development, the need for electricity is also increasing. So that Indonesia has great potential to produce alternative and environmentally friendly energy, namely Sea Wave Energy. Its continuous nature is available all the time. Many potential coastal areas in Indonesia, however, have not been utilized optimally. The purpose of this study is to see the potential of Wave Energy for electricity. For this reason, research was carried out at a location in the Central Sulawesi area, precisely in Salubomba, Central Banawa District, Donggala Regency. In this study a potential study was conducted on 3 types of PLTGL, namely Buoy, OWC, and Pasut Dam, where one will be chosen that meets the wave criteria requirements on the Beach. From the results of research, PLTGL that fulfills the requirements is the type of buoy. Data collection begins with secondary data, namely wind data from Mutiara Station. Then proceed with calculating wave forecasting using the SMB (Sverdrup Munk-Bretschneider) method. The results of this study, Salubomba beach has the potential to be built by the Buoy Type Wave Power Plant, a significant wave height of 0.52 - 3.37 meters with a ruptured depth of 3.95 meters.

Abstract

In office buildings, electrical energy is needed to meet the needs of lighting to electronic equipment used in the building. To support all of that, a reliable electrical installation system is needed so that all office activities can run well without causing significant problems. Therefore the planning of the electrical installation system in a building must refer to the applicable rules and regulations in accordance with PUIL and SNI. The design carried out refers to PUIL 2011, SNI 03-6575-2001 (Lighting System Design Procedures). The entire electrical installation system gets a 3 Phase supply from PLN. The total power in this building is 80000 watts, so the power needed from PLN to connect is 160 KVA. Conductors used in this installation, use cables with NYM and NYY types with varying sizes in accordance with the calculation of the conveying CRC that has been done.

Abstract

The PDAM is still using an analog flow meter. For PDAM customers, information on analog flow meters is difficult to access and convert into payment amounts. With an analog reading system, the PDAM officer still records using the manual method of the customer's total water consumption data. From the problems above, we need a digital reading system that can display customer water consumption and payment data that can be accessed by customers. The reading of the volume of water consumed by PDAM customers via SMS is a device designed based on the Arduino Uno microcontroller, equipped with the ability to monitor water usage in real time using SMS media. The reading of the volume of water consumed by PDAM customers uses a water flow sensor that functions to read the flow of water that passes and provides pulse output. Arduino Uno receives pulse output from the water flow sensor which is then converted into a number that shows the number and tariff of water usage of PDAM customers. The LCD displays information on total usage, usage rates, time and date in real time. The SIM800L module sends SMS based on orders received from customers and PDAM officials. The results achieved in this study are the water flow sensor is able to read the amount of water consumption of PDAM customers with an average deviation of 0.034%. Tests show the results of payment conversions are in accordance with the PDAM payment model in Palu City.

Abstract

Abstract-Overhead line high voltage (SUTT) or commonly called a transmission network or transmission line has very important role in the process of distribution of electrical from power plants to load centers continuously. However, overhead line is one component in the system which is often fault. To avoid damages and greater losses, it has used the distance which is as the primary protection in securing the transmission network or transmission line. In this research, it discussed about one phase-neutral short circuit that happens on line transmission connected to Sidera-Tipo substation by calculating the current fault andoperating time of distance relay using the software of ETAP (electric transientandanalysis program) 12.6.0.

Abstract

Audit of Electrical Energy at the Regional House of Representatives of the Tojo Una-Una District is a comprehensive method in examining energy use in a building to find the value of Energy Consumption Intensity (IKE) and Energy Saving Opportunities (PHE) that can be obtained to reduce energy waste so that the consumption of electrical energy is more effective and efficient. The audit of Electrical Energy is carried out according to SNI 03-6196-2000 concerning Energy audit procedures in buildings and the Regulation of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Indonesia Number 13 of 2012 concerning Savings Electricity Consumption. The results of the evaluation of the Energy Consumption Intensity Calculation conducted at the Office of the Regional House of Representatives of Tojo Una-Una District known that there are 16 rooms with the criteria for the Energy Consumption Intensity (IKE) value, namely an office building with air conditioning has efficient enough 8 rooms, wasteful 3 rooms and based on office buildings without Air-conditioning is quite efficient in 3 rooms and wasteful in 2 rooms. The results of Energy Saving Opportunities (PHE) that have been identified by using air conditioning and energy-saving lamps, reducing hours of use without reducing the quality of service in the office can save electricity consumption of 2.339,5165 kWh/month or save electricity bill payments of IDR. 3.379.899,60/month.

Abstract

Body flexibility is one of the factors that greatly helps physical health because it can help in prevention, help restore muscle, and improve efficiency in various physical activities. One method to measure the body speed level is Sit and Reach Test using the Sit and Reach Box Scale measurement tool. Technically, this measuring instrument is still manual, simple and its production is still very limited. Therefore we need a measuring device to use electronic components to help process better and better in terms of which can be adjusted to good or bad by using the parameter norm Sit and Reach Test. The purpose of this study is to design a flexibility measuring instrument using a microcontroller based proximity sensor. This tool works with the arduino unu microcontroller as the main controller, HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor as a distance reader for body flexibility, LED indicators and speakers as a sign of body flexibility, then LCD and delphi 7 applications using serial communication as a display of body flexibility.
