Abstract

This research aimed to make the learning design possible for the development of motor cycle and the coordination of the eyes, hands, brain of the child and carry out the whole plan with the best. Through cooperative learning methods can improve the fine motor skills of children from an average result of fine motor skills of children in collaborative activities in groups. into a medium used in a game with the aim that children can train their fine motor skills. Through this game children are invited to be able to develop creativity through collaborative activities and can develop fine motor skills through these learning activities. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach according to the Kemmis model and MC Taggart. According to Kemmis and Mc Taggart (in Yunus, 2009: 105) describe action research as a set that aims to improve and evaluate decisions and actions aimed at implementing these actions. The discussion of the results of the study was directed at the implementation of the research cycle I and cycle II by following the 4 stages of research, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. Thus the learning achievement of children is 82% of the target of 80% who are successful, so this study in class II action research was declared successful and no longer needed to be continued in the next cycle. Finally, It can be conclude that Cooperative learning can add insight to the teacher in choosing the right learning model to be applied in class according to the objectives of each learning that will be carried out.Keywords: Application; Cooperative Learning Models; Children;  Kindergarten

Abstract

Sasaran program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah Orang Tua asuh dari anak usia dini di TK St. Tarasius Tomohon, yang dimana nantinya akan dibina mengenai pola asuh orang tua kepada anak usia dini dimasa pandemi Covid-19. Adapun permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah Orang tua memegang peranan utama dan pertama bagi pendidikan anak, mengasuh, membesarkan dan mendidik anak merupakan tugas mulia yang tidak lepas dari berbagai halangan dan tantangan dan terjadinya masa pandemi COVID-19 ini, membuat pola asuh dalam keluarga menjadi berubah. Dengan demikian tujuan program ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman tentang pola asuh yang baik dan benar dari orang tua asuh kepada anak usia dini di TK St. Tarasius Tomohon. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah Pola asuh adalah sikap orang tua dalam berhubungan dengan anaknya. Sikap ini dapat dilihat dari berbagai segi, antara lain dari cara orang tua memberikan pengaturan kepada anak, cara memberikan hadiah dan hukuman, cara orang tua menunjukkan otoritas dan cara orang tua memberikan perhatian, tanggapan terhadap keinginan anak. Dengan demikian yang dimaksud dengan Pola Asuh Orang Tua adalah bagaimana cara mendidik anak baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung.

Abstract

Abstract:. One of the principle in pre-school education is play-based learning. This research utilizes technology to develop computer games based media learning for pre-schoolers. We are used Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) to develop this application. There are six stages in this sistem development method; these six steps include concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. These media have five features using Indonesian language, there are riddles games, simple counting games, drawing menu, words construct game and coloring menu. This media learning game was implemented to fifteen preschool students with an age range between 3-5 years with their teacher accompaniment. The result showed that this application could be used as an alternative media learning for the student and the teacher of preschool to develop the children creativity and competencies.Keyword: educational game, pre-schoolers Abstrak: Salah satu prinsip pelaksanaan Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD)  yaitu belajar melalui bermain atau bermain seraya belajar. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan teknologi untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran anak berbasis aplikasi permainan. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah metodologi Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) yang terdiri dari enam tahap, yaitu perumusan konsep (concept), perancangan (design), pengumpulan materi (material collecting), pembuatan (assembly), pengujian (testing), dan pendistribusian (distribution). Aplikasi permainan edukatif berbahasa Indonesia ini memiliki 5 (lima) fitur yang dapat dimainkan secara acak antara lain, Menu Tebak-tebakkan, Menu Berhitung, Menu Menggambar, Menu Susun kata, dan Menu Mewarnai. Aplikasi ini diuji-coba pada 15 (lima belas) orang siswa PAUD berusia 3-5 Tahun dengan bimbingan para tenaga pendidik. Aplikasi permainan ini dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran alternatif pembelajaran guru dan siswa Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) dalam mengembangkan kreativitas dan kompetensi anak.Kata Kunci: permainan edukatif, PAUD

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan 1-10 melalui lembar kerja peserta didik pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Frater Don Bosco Tomohon. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilaksanakan dimana masih ada anak yang belum bisa mengenal lambang bilangan dengan baik. Anak mengenal lambang bilangan sebatas hafalan, sehingga anak masih terbalik-balik dalam menyebutkan lambang bilangan. Proses membilang anak juga belum tepat yaitu ketidaksesuaian antara pengucapan dengan jumlah benda yang dihitung. Oleh karena itu dapat mempengaruhi keberhasilan proses belajar mengajar di kelas, maka secara otomatis hasil belajar anak tidak mencapai hasil yang optimal. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan melalui 2 (Dua) siklus dengan model PTK (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas) yang mengacu pada model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu: 1. Perencanaan, 2. Pelaksanaan, 3. Observasi, 4. Refleksi. Subjek penelitian yaitu anak di TK Frater Don Bosco Tomohon yang berjumlah 10 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan 1-10 melalui lembar kerja peserta didik, menunjukkan adanya perubahan yang baik dengan hasil yang diperoleh pada siklus I mencapai 60,0%, sedangkan pada siklus II hasil yang diperoleh anak sudah meningkat mencapai 100%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui lembar kerja peserta didik dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan 1-10 pada anak usia 5-6 tahun dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar anak di TK Frater Don Bosco Tomohon.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the relationship between work climate, discipline, and interpersonal communication on the performance of kindergarten school supervisors in North Sulawesi Province. The background to this research is based on school supervisors' important role in improving education quality through effective supervision. However, various problems were found, such as a lack of discipline, supervisory experience, and an unsupportive work climate, which impacted the performance of school supervisors. This research uses a survey method with a correlational approach. Data was obtained through questionnaires from 40 kindergarten school supervisors in North Sulawesi. The variables studied include work climate (X1), discipline (X2), interpersonal communication (X3), and school supervisor performance (Y). Data analysis was carried out using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques, with the help of the SPSS version 29 for Windows and Microsoft Excel 2021 programs. The research results showed that work climate, discipline, and interpersonal communication each had a strong positive correlation with supervisory performance. The coefficient of determination for work climate is 0.544, which means that 54.4% of the variation in supervisory performance can be explained by work climate. Discipline has a coefficient of determination of 0.435, indicating that 43.5% of the variation in supervisory performance can be explained by discipline. Interpersonal communication has a coefficient of determination of 0.582, indicating that 58.2% of the variation in supervisory performance can be explained by interpersonal communication. Simultaneously, these three variables have a significant relationship with the performance of school supervisors. Multiple regression analysis shows that the combination of a good work environment, high discipline, and effective communication overall improves the performance of school supervisors. The calculated F value is 35.743 with a significant probability level of less than 0.001, indicating that this regression model can be used to predict supervisor performance with a high level of confidence. This research suggests focusing on improving work climate, discipline, and interpersonal communication to improve supervisor performance, which contributes theoretically and practically to education in North Sulawesi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether using PowerPoint audio-visual media can improve children’s cognitive development in ECE (Early Childhood Education) in North Tomohon Sub-District, North Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. The research method used was collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in ECE in North Tomohon Sub-District, and it was found that 1) Before using the PowerPoint audio-visual media, ECE in North Tomohon Sub-District still had difficulty doing the assigned tasks and answering teachers’ questions because the children cognitive was not stimulated well; 2) The use of PowerPoint audio-visual media can improve the child’s cognitive aspects because the learning activities were designed in an attractive, fun and not boring way. Through the use of PowerPoint audio-visual learning media, children’s cognitive can be stimulated well.
