Abstract

Productivity is one of the materials studied in ecology courses. As a result of the interview, many students still have difficulty in understanding this material and lecturers also have difficulty designing learning that connects context with the environment. Therefore, student learning activities need to be designed with a STEM approach. The research aims to produce a learning trajectory to help students on productivity materials using STEM approaches. The method used in this research is a design research type validation study consisting of three stages: preparing for the experiment, experiment in the classroom (pilot experiment & Teaching experiment), and restrospective analysis. The research subjects were 6 students and 3 lecturers. Research instruments in the form of interview sheets for students and lecturers and using student metacognitive questionnaires. The results of this study show that through a series of activities that have been done, learning using STEM can help students understand productivity materials and become a starting point in the learning process

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian mengenai keragaman kupu-kupu di kawasan Wisata Air Terjun Irenggolo Kediri pada bulan Februari hingga Juli 2018. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan database tentang keragaman dan kelimpahan kupu-kupu di kawasan Wisata ini. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengkoleksi kupu-kupu adalah dengan metode VES. Kupu ditangkap menggunakan jaring serangga dan dikoleksi menggunakan kertas papylote. Semua spesies diidentifikasi di laboratorium zoology dan dikonsultasikan pada ahli. Data keragaman kupu dianalisis menggunakan indeks Shanon Winner. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan sebanyak 35 spesies kupu dengan total jumlah 1.622 individu. Berdasarkan analisis kuantitatif, disimpulkan bahwa meskipun kekayaan individu tinggi, namun derajad kemelimpahan masing-masing spesies rendah. Adapun spesies yang derajad kelimpahannya cukup adalah Hasora taminatus (14,5) dan Chilades pandava (16,5). Untuk menjaga kelestarian jenis kupu dan menjaga kemelimpahannya, perlu dilakukan edukasi kepada pengunjung agar tetap menjaga keberadaan tumbuhan liar di kawasan wisata Air Terjun Irenggolo Kediri. Abstract

Irenggolo is a waterfall tourism area located in the Wilis Mountains. This area has a fairly good diversity of flora, one of which is Asteraceae family. This family has very divers in members. Research on Asteraceae plants in this area never been carried out. The purpose of this study was to determine the type of plants from the Asteraceae family that live in the Irenggolo Kediri. Methode for sampling using Visual Encounter Survey technique in four different areas. Observation results obtained 13 species of plants from Asteraceae family with three tribes, that are Sphagneticola trilobata, Galinsoga parviflora, Crassocephalum crepidioides, Cosmos sulphureus, Tagetes erecta, Sonchus wightianus, Conyza bonariensis, Ageratum conyzoides, Dahlia pinnata, Bidens pilosa, Zinnia elegans, Chromolaena odorata, serta Eupatorium capillifolium.

Abstract

Sumber Jembangan merupakan Kawasan lindung sumber air dengan luas area 4,2 hektar. Di Kawasan tersebut ditemukan banyak pepohonan dari marga Ficus. Pengamatan variasi morfologi daun Ficus di kawasan ini belum pernah dilakukan sehingga penelitian ini penting untuk dilaksanakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui variasi morfologi daun beberapa jenis tumbuhan marga Ficus yang ada di Sumber Jembangan. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan November sampai Desember 2024. Metode pengamatan yang digunakan adalah eksplorasi dengan teknik purposive sampling. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan diperoleh 14 marga Ficus dengan struktur morfologi daun yang bervariasi. Variasi daun terletak pada karakter bentuk daun yaitu elipticus, ovatus, lanceolatus, oblongus, orbicularis dan obovatus. Variasi ujung daun acutus, acuminatus dan rotundatus. Variasi pangkal daun emarginatus, obtusus, acutus, rotundatus. Tepi daun integer, serratus, lobate, dan dentatus. Permukaan daun laevis, scaber, glaber dan villosus.

Abstract

The problem in Natural and Social Science (IPAS) learning at the elementary school level remains centered on students' low comprehension due to the use of less engaging instructional media. Observations and interviews conducted in Class V at SDN Pagung 2 revealed that the teacher still relied on limited media, such as A4 paper-based teaching aids, lengthy educational videos, and less attractive images. As a result, most students failed to achieve the minimum mastery criteria (KKM) for the human respiratory system topic. This study aims to develop an instructional media in the form of flash cards mounted on a picture board to improve students’ understanding of the material. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which includes five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, expert validation questionnaires, teacher and student practicality questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The validation results indicated the media was highly valid, with a score of 93%. Teacher practicality responses reached 96%, and students found the media highly attractive and easy to use. The effectiveness test, measured through pretest and posttest, showed an increase in the average score from 65 to 87, with classical completeness reaching 85%. The flash card media on a picture board proved to be valid, practical, and effective in teaching the human respiratory system in IPAS for fifth-grade students. In addition to improving learning outcomes, the media also fostered students’ interest and active participation.

Abstract

The data collection of mushroom species found in Ubalan source tourism areas needs to be done as a source of data on the diversity of mushroom species as decomposers of organic material. This type of research is a descriptive exploratory study with methods. roaming modified with VES (Visual Encounter Survey). The research instrument used was a logbook, observation sheet, and the key book of determination. All mushrooms were collected in a collection bottle and identified by using a macro mushroom determination key in the Botany Laboratory of the Nusantara University PGRI Kediri. The data of this research are the types of macroscopic fungi found during observation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that there were twelveidentified fungal families, namely Auriculariae, Tricholomataceae, Ganodermataceae, Amanitaceae, Hymenogastraceae, Marasmiaceae, Russulaceae, Agaricaceae, Amanithaceae, Mycenaceae, Polyporaceae and Parmeliaceae. The conclusions of this study indicate that the area of the tourist area of the Ubalan has a variety of macroscopic fungi.

Abstract

The low activity of students in discussing mycology courses is caused by the lack of use of innovative learning models. The research purpose was to determine the effect of using the Read Question Answer (RQA) model on student activeness in discussing mycology courses.This research uses quantitative research methods with a quasi-experimental research type through a one-group pretest-posttest research design. The research instrument used was a student activity questionnaire. Research data is the average value of student activity. The research data analysis technique used the dependent paired sample t-test. The results showed that there was an effect of using the RQA model on student activeness in discussing mycology courses. This is evident from the t-count value is greater than the t-table (7.15 > 2.23). The conclusion of this research is the use of the RQA model affects student activeness in discussing mycology courses.
