Abstract

Abstract One type of heat exchanger used is the type of heat exchanger Shell and Tube. Feasibility of making use of a heat exchanger is heating fluid and the fluid is heated, how much economic value is obtained. From these data, the process of making zinc plate in the PT. Kalimantan Steel CO. LTD uses diesel as fuel for heating water H2SO4 + 1.5% with an average in the 30 liter to 2000 sheets of tin plate. Through the concept of the Energy Management Program (PME) heat exchanger made ??by utilizing the residual heat of backling as a substitute for diesel fuel. Abstract

Mengamati berbagai acara seperti sudut sinar matahari, pengukuran suhu dinding luar, berbagai aksesoris yang tersedia dan jenis kegiatan yang dilakukan. Kemudian dilakukan perhitungan dengan metode CLTD (Cooling Load Temperature Difference) berdasarkan ASHRAE 1997. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah beban pendinginan dari seperti dinding bata dengan lapisan plester, kaca, atap aluminium alloy, lantai beton dan keramik, lampu, penghuni, peralatan elektronik . dan jumlah maksimal 1.500 orang di Gedung Auditorium Muhammadiyah Pontianak adalah 349.772.358 Watt atau 132,60 PK. AC yang terpasang saat ini berkapasitas 40 PK, sehingga dibutuhkan 92,6 PK PK lebih atau 19 unit alat pendingin yang masing-masing berkapasitas 5 PK agar pendinginan di dalam ruangan lebih hemat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengetahui nilai kekerasan bahan PLA (Polylactic Acid) berdasarkan variasi parameter cetak printer 3D dengan suhu 200 °C dan 220 °C serta tinggi lapisan 0,1 mm dan 0,2 mm sebagai dasar perancangan roda lurus. Proses kekerasan yang dilakukan menggunakan hardness rockwell tester kemudian dilakukan perbandingan dari perhitungan kekerasan berdasarkan indentasi hasil pengujian pengujian rockwell. Standar uji yang digunakan ISO 2039-2 : 2000. Pengumpulan data dilakukan secara kuantitatif berdasarakan studi literatur, observasi dan konsulstasi. Hasil pengujian Analisis secara statistik menggunakan ANOVA dua arah. Dari pengujian ini didapatkan nilai kekerasanterbaik yang ada pada parameter temperature 220C dan tinggi lapisan 0,1 mm.

Abstract

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini akan melakukan eksperimen untuk melihat pengaruh laju aliran terhadap efektivitas perpindahan panas pada penukar kalor aliran searah jenis plate. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis akan melihat pengaruh variasi laju aliran air pendingin terhadap efektifitas perpindahan panas pada penukar kalor jenis Plate aliran searah dengan mempertahankan laju aliran fluida yang didinginkan (fluida panas). Variasi laju aliran massa untuk aliran air pendingin adalah 50 gr/sec, 40 gr/sec dan 30 gr/sec. Sedangkan untuk laju aliran air panasnya dipertahankan tetap untuk setiap variasi laju aliran air pendingin yaitu 50 gr/sec. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pada laju aliran berapa fluida pendingin yang paling optimal perpindahan panasnya pada aliran searah dengan harapan untuk menjadi sebuah rekomendasi untuk penyetingan laju aliran fluida untuk mendapatkan efektifitas perpindahan panas pada penukar kalor jenis Plate yang aliran fluidanya searah. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan efektivitas penukar kalor jenis Plate Heat Exchanger aliran searah nilai efektivitas penukar kalor yang paling besar adalah pada laju aliran massa sebesar 50 gr/sec. Sedangkan kenaikan efektivitas penukar kalor pada Plate Heat Exchanger aliran searah berada pada laju aliran massa 40 gr/sec. Dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa ada nilai optimum laju aliran massa tertentu yang bisa menyebabkan kenaikan efektivitas penukar kalor sangat tajam.

Abstract

The issue of Green Energy, which is about clean and environmentally friendly energy, is a very important issue at this time. Energy that has the above properties is renewable energy. Optimization of energy absorption needs to be done and this is usually done by conditioning or manipulating several parameters so that the energy absorption rate is more effective and efficient.Therefore, the authors conducted a study that is expected to know at the angle of arrival and the rate of flow what is the most optimal absorption of heat from solar energy for the installation and seeding of Solar Water Heater in Pontianak City. And it is expected that with this research can be a recommendation of energy absorption rate, especially those who use solar energy for the Pontianak City area of West Kalimantan to be optimal and efficient.Based on the results of research and analysis conducted in this study for the setting of the sun's coming angle of 450 and coolant fluid flow rate setting, namely the Solar Collector Loop side of 1250 ccm and on the Domestic Heater Water Loop of 1000 ccm in solar water heater. The setting of angles and flow rate settings in the conditions mentioned are very suitable for the condition of Pontianak city area which provides a very stable efficiency value and the value is close to 100% and the value of heat transfer is quite optimal both the absorption of solar heat and heat absorption by heated water

Leaf springs that have been used for a long time will experience a decrease in the quality of the mechanical properties due to the dynamic loads that occur on this component. A comparison of two leaf spring materials is carried out, this is expected to be a solution to increase the strength and toughness of the leaf springs that have been used, the strength and carrying capacity of the damp truck is 8 tons. Abstract

In the current era of industrialization, welding techniques have been widely used, covering the work of shipping, bridges, steel frames, pipelines and so on, although this is not the main objective, it is a means to achieve a better manufacturing process. so you have to really pay attention to the suitability between the properties of the welding itself, namely the strength of the connection and pay attention to the connection to be welded, so that the results of the welding are as expected. Welding applications include shipyard construction in the framework of making bodies and other parts, so it is necessary to pay attention to the relationship to the corrosion rate that occurs at welding joints. Seawater intrusion on steel construction corrodes the structure due to the content of chloride and sulfate ions in seawater which react to the chemical elements of the steel. So that the corrosion rate that occurs greatly affects the mechanical properties of the ST 37 plate welding results on the KN hull. AE-012 Pontianak Class III Navigation District, on tensile strength and bending strength in the workpiece, HAZ area, and base metal. Testing the strength of the welding joints with Electric Arc Welding using a current strength of 120 Amperes on mild steel material (ST 37) against the effect of salt water immersion for 20 days, 35 days and 50 days the following values are obtained: [i] At 20 days of immersion time the value the tensile strength is 202.08 N/mm2 , 35 days the tensile strength value is 215.42 N/mm2 and 50 days the tensile strength value is 221.46 N/mm2 , [ii] For the tensile strength values at immersion of 35 days and 50 days has a value that tends to increase, this is somewhat different from the value of the tensile strength at 20 days immersion time which tends to decrease the value of the tensile strength without immersion. The effect of salt water immersion on the value of bending strength in mild steel (ST 37), it was found that: [i] At 20 days of immersion the bending strength value was 1500 N/mm2, 35 days the bending strength value was 1845 N/mm2 and 50 days the bending strength value was the bending strength is 1460 N/mm2 , [ii] The bending strength value at 35 days immersion has a value that tends to increase closer to the bending strength value without immersion, this is somewhat different from the bending strength value at 50 days immersion which tends to decrease considerably at compare without immersion.

Abstract

One type of heat exchanger that is widely used is the shell and tube type heat exchanger. The feasibility of making this heat exchanger is seen from the use of heating fluid and heated fluid, how much economic value is obtained. From the data obtained, that in the process of making ice cubes using cold storage which is in the cooling process in the condenser using river water and has a high enough temperature, so that it can be used as a heating source. Through the concept of the Energy Management Program (PME) a heat exchanger with utilizing residual heat as a preheater for the use of water consumption for bathing, washing, and so on.

Abstract

Alat penukar kalor adalah suatu alat untuk memindahkan kalor antara dua jenis fluida. Pada Pengujian ini, menggunakan pipa aluminium dengan diameter luar pipa dalam 25mm, diameter dalam pipa dalam 19mm, diameter luar annulus 50mm, diameter dalam annulus 44mm, panjang pipa dalam 1.500mm, panjang annulus 1.000mm. Kontruksi penukar kalor pipa konsentrik satu laluan (one pass concentric tube heat exchanger), dengan arah aliran berlawanan arah (counterflow), air panas dengan arah aliran horizontal di pipa dalam, air dingin aliran horizontal di annulus berlawanan arah dengan arah aliran air panas. Pengujan menggunakan tiga variasi debit yaitu 5 LPM, 8,33 LPM dan 11,67 LPM meliputi dua seksi. Pada seksi pertama dengan gravitasi pada annulus terlihat bahwa semakin meningkatnya debit aliran, semakin meningkat faktor gesekan, bilangan Reynolds dan efektivitas penukar kalor. Pada seksi kedua dengan pompa dingin pada annulus terlihat bahwa semakin meningkatnya debit aliran, semakin meningkat faktor gesekan dan efektivitas penukar kalor. Tetapi, pada bilangan Reynolds nilainya fluktuatif. Pada debit 5 LPM berada pada nilai 13.108,38 namun pada debit 8,33 LPM terjadi penurunan pada nilai 9.806,683 kemudian pada debit 11,67 LPM kembali meningkat pada nilai 13.926,28.Kata kunci: Debit, Faktor Gesekan, Reynolds, Efektivitas Penukar Kalor
