Abstract

The problems of this research are students’ low entrepreneurial skills and cognitive abilities. It can be seen from the results of the pre-research conducted by researcher which showed that there were still students experiencing difficulties in carrying out independent lab-work. Especially X grade students in Natural Science Program who are required to be able to do lab-work, the teacher usually assigns students to do lab-work at home with a guide from a paper module, due to limited time if it is carried out at school. This study aims to find out the effectiveness of using canva based electronic module (E-Modul) lab-work in making tape ketan towards students’ entrepreneurial skills and cognitive abilities. The method used in this research is the Research and Development (R&D) method. This R&D method is used to develop educational products that can be accounted for, namely in the form of a canva based E-Module in making Tape Ketan Lab-work. Based on the result of this research, it shows that the result of the t-test comparing the scores/average scores of the post-test between the two classes (experimental and control groups) is a sig value of less than 0.05 which indicates a significant change. It means that the optimization of test results achieved by students in the experimental group is significantly higher than test result obtained by students in the control group. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the canva based electronic module (E-Modul) in Tape Ketan Lab-work is effective in improving students’ entrepreneurial skills and cognitive abilities. The suggestion in this study is that the teachers should use electronic module in lab-work activities because it is proved that the use of canva based electronic module (E-Modul) in making tape ketan lab-work is effective in improving students’ entrepreneurial skills and cognitive abilities. For the next researchers, it is expected to develop other learning media in order to improve students’ entrepreneurial skills and cognitive abilities.

Abstract

Waste that can be utilized into a product that has economic value. By utilizing rice washing waste water and dragon fruit skin waste, it can be used as a fermented food product called Nata de leri. This study aims to determine the effect of adding various types of sugar and dragon fruit peel extract on the quality of Nata de leri. The method of this study was a randomized factorial block design (RAKF) which consisted of two treatment factors, namely various types of sugar, namely granulated sugar, palm sugar and artificial sweeteners, then the second treatment factor was the addition of dragon fruit peel extract with three levels (15%, 25% and 50). %). The results of the study were analyzed using the thickness test, then continued Duncan's test and obtained a different notation which meant that it was significantly different from the Friedman test. In the Friedman test the texture quality and taste quality did not have a significant effect, while the color quality had a significant effect because Fcount more than Ftable until H1 acceptable. The best quality obtained was the Nata de leri treatment with the addition of granulated sugar and 50% dragon fruit peel extract (A2B3) with the highest average organoleptic test results. So that it can be used as a recommendation for processed products that have economic value.

Abstract

The abundant moringa and lemongrass plants can be used to make Kombucha products. By utilizing Moringa leaves and lemongrass which are fermented by Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast (SCOBY) to become Kombucha. This study aims to determine the effect of variations in the formulation of a mixture of Moringa leaves and lemongrass on the chemical characteristic quality of Total Titrated Acid (TAT), presence of flavonoids, and organoleptic quality. This research is a quantitative research. The results of the study were the TAT value of formulation 1 (0.454%), formulation 2 (0.432%), formulation 3 (0.445%), and control (0.54%). The results of the analysis showed that variations in the formulation of a mixture of moringa leaves and lemon grass had no significant effect on the TAT value of Kombucha with F Count (0.93) F Table 5% (3.10). Flavonoids in Kombucha were tested qualitatively by 3 reagents seen from the color change. At 10% NaOH it showed a yellow brown color, 1% AlCl3 reagent was yellow, and H2SO4 reagent was pale yellow to yellow brown, and all samples showed positive results for the presence of flavonoids. Organoleptic assessment with color results X²r count (6.03) X²r table 1% (6.250), aroma X²r count (11.47) X²r table 5% (7.810), taste X²r count (18.91) X²r table 5 % (7,810). So that the variation in formulation has a significant effect on aroma and taste, but not on the color of Kombucha moringa leaves and lemon grass.

Abstract

Knowledge of the morphological characteristics of kaliandra flowers (Calliandra spp.) that live naturally in highland forests in conservation areas can provide an understanding related to their adaptation to the growing environment and support efforts to preserve endemic plants. This study aims to see the diversity of morphological characteristics of red kaliandra (Calliandra calothyrsus) and white kaliandra (Calliandra portoricensis) flowers in Mount Ciremai National Park. Plant selection was carried out using the purposive sampling method with the following criteria: 1). the position of the plant can be reached, 2). It has good flower morphological conditions, is not deformed, and is dry. Observations were made at 14.00 local time to get good flower conditions, and documented. Then the morphological data was analyzed using the descriptive and visualized qualitative method. The results of the study showed that almost all morphological variables had similarities, but there were different variables in these two types, namely the color of the stamens, the color of the petals and the flower crown.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce teaching modules that are effective in strengthening the student profile of Pancasila through an active learning approach. The research method used is R&D (Research and Development) with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data were collected through learning style questionnaires and experiments in experimental and control classes. The questionnaire was used to measure the mutual cooperation dimension, while the test was used for students' critical thinking. Data analysis was carried out quantitatively using descriptive statistics to describe the learning outcomes of students before and after the application of teaching modules. Hypothesis testing was conducted using the Wilcoxon test to determine significant differences between the experimental and control groups. The results show that the application of teaching modules based on the Merdeka Curriculum can increase students' interest in learning and critical thinking skills in the experimental class compared to the control class. The experimental group's posttest score was significantly higher than the control group. The development of teaching modules based on the characteristics of students has proven to be valid and effective in achieving learning objectives. This can be seen from the increase in affective (mutual cooperation & critical thinking dimensions) and cognitive (formative assessment results) values.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an innovative instructional medium designed in the form of a visual metaphor-based learning media, specifically for the topic of cells in the science subject (IPA) at the junior high school level Class VIII in SMP Negeri 1 Plumbon. The topic of cell structure and function is often perceived as abstract and difficult for students to understand due to its microscopic nature and the spatial imagination it requires. This study employs a descriptive quantitative method by collecting and analyzing data in the form of student and teacher responses to the use of the media. The primary instrument used was a questionnaire designed to assess student and teacher perceptions regarding the effectiveness, appeal, ease of use, and usefulness of the media in supporting the learning process. The questionnaire was distributed after the classroom implementation of the visual metaphor-based learning media. The analysis results showed that the average student response score reached 89.25%, which falls into the "very positive" category. This indicates that the majority of students felt aided in understanding difficult concepts through metaphorical visualization, which was able to simplify complex biological information. In addition, teacher responses also indicated enthusiasm and support for the use of this media, as it was considered capable of increasing student engagement, deepening conceptual understanding, and encouraging reflective thinking. Therefore, the application of visual metaphor-based media holds great potential to support a more humanistic, contextual, and meaningful transformation of the learning process.
