Abstract

Abstrak. Mencitrakan kabupaten dan kota di Sulawesi Selatan dengan menawarkan identitas khas merupakan bagian dari prosedur manajerial yang memberikan kesempatan bagi kabupaten/kota untuk menampilkan kekhasan, memberikan nilai tambah, dan menjadi pembeda dengan kota-kota lainnya sebagai kompetitor. Pencitraan sebuah kota merupakan kegiatan untuk memperkenalkan kota kepada dunia (City Branding) tentunya memiliki strategi dalam membangun citra kota tersebut. tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi persepsi visual simbol-simbol bentuk etnis di Sulawesi Selatan yang memiliki potensi sebagai acuan/rujukan untuk digunakan sebagai materi-materi city branding yang berkesesuai dengan simbol visual etnik di Sulawesi Selatan. Sehingga dapat berkontribusi memaksimalkan tujuan city branding, yakni peningkatan ekonomi tidak saja pada sektor wisata namun membuka potensi dan peluang sektor lainnya.Kata Kunci: Persepsi Visual, Simbolisme Visual, Etnik Bugis-Makassar, City Branding, Simbol Visual, Etnik, Sulawesi Selatan

Abstract

Indonesia has a wealth of various types of beautiful and unique traditional fabrics, one of which is the Sengkang sutera woven fabric. As the dynamics of the times and fashion tastes change, it is necessary to develop a diversified product diversification in accordance with the demands of the times. This research aims to review the strategy model of new product diversification by enriching Sengkang silk woven fabric not only into fabric products for sarong and clothing applications. The method used is data collection, assessment modeling and system development, and evaluation of finished products. This activity produced a development strategy direction as an effort to diversify Sengkang silk weaving products to have a stronger product competitiveness and image

Abstract

This study aims to identify artifacts of cultural products in the community within the ethnic scope of Bugis-Makassar-Toraja related to the origin, variety of forms, characteristics (identification tools) formed from the results of intangible cultural products. Especially in Sa'dan-Toraja ethnicity. The identification of cultural products is intended to make the perimeter boundaries of culture as a characteristic. This method of constructing identity is intended as a form of accountability for the indigenous community towards the formation of the character characteristics and attitudes of members of the cultural community towards the surrounding cultural community. Sociologically it is a form of cultural exclusions for cultural communities in the Bugis-Makassar-Toraja ethnic entity. Where these characters are manifestations of the conception of philosophical values and cultural philosophies of Bugis-Makassar-Toraja ethnicity summarized in "Pangadereng". The specific purpose of this study is to identify the form of 'Passapu' in the Sa'dan-Toraja ethnic group, which is known for its various names and forms, by describing the differences and reviewing the aspects and their constituent elements (Anthropological / Art Sociological Review) Results identification of this research is expected to be a scientific reference material on the intangible cultural results of the Makassar tribe.

Abstract

The needs of the home industry (IRT) for plastic packaging for their products are currently higher along with the increasing culinary snacks industry (food / beverage). Awareness of the importance of packaging their products has become a major focus in efforts to increase the selling value of the product. Therefore, many culinary IRTs try to make breakthroughs in presenting the appearance of their products to be different from other similar products. However, the obstacle that was encountered was the limitation of variations in model / package design that could be obtained or used as alternatives. Another obstacle is when they want to place an order based on their own design, it results in a high value that must be redeemed. This is due to the selling price associated with the production limit of production costs which ultimately forces the IRT to incur significant costs. This research was conducted to produce a tool that can be presented with the ability to produce tools that can be done on a local scale, economical product prices, and easy operation.
