Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of trust, satisfaction to the customers' loyalty that moderated by leadership of the board as a moderating variable. A total of 100 questionnaires with closed answer using a Likert scale were spread to 100 customers BTM Wiradesa, BMT Bahtera and Kospin Jasa Syariah in Pekalongan to answer the problem. The results showed that trust, satisfaction and leadership of the board, respectively had positive and significant effect on customers' loyalty. Meanwhile, the leadership of the board as a moderating variable is also positive and significant effect on customer loyalty.

Abstract

Islamic boarding school or pesantren is often only considered as a conservative Islamic educational institution. In fact, Pesantren has the number of interesting aspects to be deeply apart from studying the religion. As an institution, it involves many parties. The study aims to describe the economic map of Pesantren in Pekalongan region. This research is categorized as a field research using survey. The primary data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and observations of the 25 Pesantren in Pekalongan region. The validation of data is done through triangulation of data and sources. Pesantren which became the object of this research are Pesantren which had established for at least three years and had a business unit. Based on the description of the research's findings and discussion, it was concluded that almost all Pesantren in Pekalongan region have a business unit. The existing business unit, mostly engaged in trade. The businesses itself is oriented to meet the internal needs of religious school, especially students. Pesantren has the role in determining every type of business unit and corporate governance run by the religious schools. The governance/management of the business unit was run in a simple, not follow the rules of modern business management yet. However, Pesantren have involved students in business management. The operations results of this business unit at least have contributed in boarding operations.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the multiplier effects of business run by pesantren in economic, education, and social fields. It is a field research conducted in Pesantren Walindo, Siwalan district, Pekalongan. By using qualitative approach, the data were collected through observation, interview, and documentation. The presence of the researcher was the key point in obtaining the data. The deep interview was conducted to some related parties, such as kyai, managers, and santri (students). This study reveals several findings. First, there is significant effect of developing business in Pesantren Walindo on its development and independence because it can cover 60% of operational funding without drawing fee from the santri. Second, related to the business units development, this pesantren is able to strengthen the sense of entrepreneurship in santri?s spirit. The business unit management run by the santri along with kyai and nyai build their business awareness which can be their foundation after they graduate from this pesantren. Third, regarding the social filed, the relationship between the pesantren and the society are conducted both in the form of partnership and other kinds of relationship which bears the sense of belonging of the society toward the pesantren and their trustworthy to register their children there. Keywords: pesantren, multiplier effects, pesantren business units

Abstract

Performances of musical repertoire from various eras, such as classical, modern, Malay, and popular, are wrapped into a solo violin performance in the form of interpretation and expression of works using musical performance techniques that contain conventional rules. This performance consists of several repertoires from different eras. The first repertoire is a repertoire that originates from the baroque era or the 16th century, entitled Concerto in E Major No. 1 Spring, with a combination of Antonio Vivaldi, which was created in 1725. The second repertoire is My Heart Will Go On, which is popular. The third repertoire is Laila Awkward, which Hamid and Amardi Raga created. Presenters interpret and express their repertoire by applying techniques such as arpeggios, trills, legato, and slurs to create a perfect performance.

Abstract

Performing musical compositions from various eras such as classical, modern, Malay, and popular, this violin solo recital presents a blend of interpretation, improvisation, and expressive performance using musical techniques that adhere to conventional principles.The initial preparation for the soloist before the performance includes technical exercises involving both the left and right hand techniques in solo violin playing. Each composition to be performed is analyzed in detail, especially in terms of form and structure. This process is essential for expressing each section of the composition appropriately and in accordance with the composer’s intent, particularly given that the compositions span different musical periods. This performance consists of several repertoires from different eras. The first repertoire originates from the Baroque period, spanning the 16th to 17th century, characterized by clear and structured patterns. This piece is titled Concerto in E Major No.1 "Spring" by composer Antonio Vivaldi, composed in 1725. The second repertoire is My Heart Will Go On, a popular music piece presented in a contemporary style. The third composition is Laila Canggung, created by Hamid and Amardi Raga, which is rooted in Malay cultural tradition and is expressed in accordance with Malay aesthetic values. The performer interprets and expresses each repertoire by applying various techniques such as arpeggio, trill, legato, slur, and slide, aiming to deliver a refined and complete performance.
