Abstract

Application of vocal techniques to the singing of SMKN 1 Padangpanjang students. This training is specifically for choir groups at the school. The song chosen for this was a song entitled Laruik Sanjo. The song created by Januar Arifin was then popularized by the Gumarang orchestra. For the needs of students or student choir groups at SMKN 1 Padang Panjang, the song was rearranged. This song is arranged into three types of voices, Soprano, Alto, and Tenor. Then the abilities of students who are members of a choir group of ten people will be seen. To what extent are they able to apply good vocal techniques when singing? This research is qualitative research and is descriptive in nature. This research also applies supporting methods such as lecture method, demonstration method, training, and evaluation method.

Abstract

The ISI Padangpanjang Sounds work is a digital music composition with a soundscape concept created from the sounds of activities around the ISI Padangpanjang campus which were recorded using the Zoom H1n Handy Recorder mic device. The sound recordings of activities and objects around the campus will be sampled and processed using Digital Audio Work Station (DAW) Studio One 5. This work tells about activities on the ISI Padang Panjang campus. On this campus there are two faculties, namely the performing arts faculty and the fine arts and design faculty. In the Suara ISI Padangpanjang work there are 3 parts with a duration of 7.10 minutes, the first part is morning activities, the second part is afternoon activities and the third part is evening activities which closes with afternoon activities. the sound of the Isha call to prayer at the end.

Abstract

Minangkabau adalah salah satu etnis di Indonesia yang memiliki berbagai macam pertunjukan tradisional, salah satunya ialah Tambua Tansa. Tambua dan Tansa merupakan alat musik tradisional kesenian khas dari Ranah Minang. Khususnya di Jorong Tanjung Sani, Nagari Sungai Batang, Kecamatan Tanjung Raya, Kabupaten Agam, Sumatera Barat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana bentuk pertunjukan Tambua Tansa dan Bagaimana Anak Nagari dapat berkreatifitas dalam pertunjukan musik Tambua Tansa di Jorong Tanjung Sani, Nagari Sungai Batang, Kecamatan Tanjung Raya, Kabupaten Agam, Sumatera Barat. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif yang mana dalam metode tersebut disertai dengan beberapa Teknik seperti pengumpulan data, wawancara, studi Pustaka, serta dokumentasi sebagai bukti dalam melakukan penelitian. Pada kesenian Tambua Tansa juga memiliki beberapa bentuk penyajian dan terdapat beberapa unsur antara lain: Kostum pemain Tambua Tansa, Alat yang dimainkan pemain Tambua Tansa. Pola kreasi dalam memainkan Tambua Tansa, dan Orang yang terlibat dalam penyajian kesenian Tambua Tansa. ABSTRACTMinangkabau is one of the ethnic groups in Indonesia, which has various kinds of traditional performances, one of which is Tambua Tansa. Tambua and Tansa, are traditional artistic musikal instruments typical of Ranah Minang. Especially in Jorong Tanjung Sani, Nagari Sungai Batang, Tanjung Raya District, Agam Regency, West Sumatra. This study aims to find out the form of Tambua Tansa performances and how village children can be creative in Tambua Tansa musik performances in Jorong Tanjung Sani, Nagari Sungai Batang, Tanjung Raya District, Agam Regency, West Sumatra. This research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative method in which the method was accompanied by several techniques such as data collection, interviews, library research, and documentation as evidence in conducting research. The art of Tambua Tansa also has a form of presentation, there are several elements, including research locations for Tambua Tansa art, costumes for Tambua Tansa players, tools played by Tambua Tansa players. Patterns of creation in playing Tambua Tansa, and people involved in presenting Tambua Tansa art.

Abstract

ABSTRAKRepertoar musik dari berbagai era seperti modern, melayu dan popular dikemas kedalam sebuah pertunjukan solis gitar dengan menggunakan kaidah pertunjukan konvensional. Repertoar dalam pertunjukan ini terdiri dari repertoar pada berbagai era. Repertoar pertama dalam pertunjukan adalah repertoar era modern atau pada abad 19 yang berjudul Sonata No.1 dengan komposer Leo Brouwer yang diciptakan pada tahun 1990, karya ini didedikasikan Leo Brouwer untuk Julian Bream. Repertor kedua adalah Dondang Sayang merupakan lagu melayu Negeri Malaka yang diciptakan oleh NN (No Name). Repertoar terakhir adalah Pagan Part II yang diciptakan oleh band Vitalism. Penyaji menginterpretasikan dan menerapkan berbagai teknik seperti arpeggio, tirando, apoyando, harmonic, rasguedo, appogiatura, sweep picking, tapping, bending, hybrid picking dan speed picking  untuk mewujudkan sebuah pertunjukan yang baik. Kata kunci: Pertunjukan; Gitar Klasik; SolisABSTRACTMusic repertoire from various eras such as modern, Malay and popular are packaged into a guitar solo performance using conventional performance conventions. The repertoire in this performance consists of repertoires from various eras. The first repertoire in the show was the repertoire of the modern era or in the 19th century entitled Sonata No.1 by composer Leo Brouwer which was created in 1990, this work was dedicated by Leo Brouwer to Julian Bream. The second repertor is Dondang Sayang, a Malay song from the State of Malacca created by NN (No Name). The last repertoire is Pagan Part II which was created by the band Vitalism. Presenters interpret and apply various techniques such as arpeggios, tirando, apoyando, harmonics, rasguedo, appogiatura, sweep picking, tapping, bending, hybrid picking and speed picking to create a good performance. Keywords: Performance; Classical Guitar; Solis

ABSTRAKRepertoar musik dari berbagai era seperti classic, popular dan melayu dikemas ke dalam sebuah pertunjukan solis marimba dengan menggunakan kaidah pertunjukan konvensional.Repertoar dalam pertunjukan ini terdiri dari repertoar berbagai era.Repertoar pertama dalam pertunjukan adalah repetoar era klasik yang berjudul Concerto in E minor For Solo Marimba dengan komposer Braedon Bomgardner.Repertoar kedua adalah Can You Feel The Love Tonight yang merupakan lagu popular animasi disney ciptaan Elton John. Repertoar terakhir dengan judul Journey To Deli karya dari Tengku Ryo Riezkan. Abstract

This performance is a performance by an electric bass soloist who presents a repertoire entitled: spain, a technical approach applied in preparing to play the instrument, namely the Extreme Slap Bass etude guide: A Dictionary Of Grooves. The aim of this solo performance is to be able to present a repertoire of electric bass instruments through a technical approach based on applicable scientific principles. The resulting repertoire performance was 7 minutes long, presented at the Hoerijah Adam ISI Padangpanjang performance building. The solo performance was presented with a big band formation. The application of the technique to the Spanish repertoire uses electric bass instruments, and a slap technique approach that applies the etude Extreme Slap Bass: A Dictionary Of Grooves.

Abstract

Sinanggar Tulo merupakan salah satu lagu daerah batak toba karya dari Tilhang Gultom. Lagu ini penulis arransemen ulang dalam bentuk ansambel dengan instrumen seperti Pianika, Cajon, Gitar Bass, yang dibawakan 7 orang peserta ansambel siswa SMPN 1 Padangpanjang, sedangkan Penelitian ini Menggunakan pembelajaran kualitatif bersifat deskriptif yaitu mengembangkan keterampilan baru, informasi dan pendekatan baru dalam memecahkan masalah melalui tindakan guna meningkatkan pemahaman, kemapuan dan penalaran dan juga menggunakan metode tambahan seperti metodi ceramah, demonstrasi, dan metode latihan. Tujuan penelitian ini Mengetahui proses pembelajaran lagu ”Sinanggar Tolo” karya dari Tilhang Gultom di SMPN 1 Padangpanjang.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKeberhasilan seorang solis biola dalam sebuah konser musik ditentukan oleh kemapuan dalam mempersipkan diri baik secara teknik maupun kemampuan ekspresi musikalnya. Untuk itu dalam hal ini dibutuhkan kematangan kemampuan dalam menginterpertasikan repertoar musik yang akan dimainkan. Teknik-teknik bermain biola yang bagaimana yang harus dipersiapkan, baik itu teknik gesekan (bowing) maupu teknik penjarian (finggering) dalam menginterertasikan tuntutan yang terdapat dalam repertoar musik serta bagaimana cara mengekspresikannya dalam bentuk pertunjukan/konser musik kepada penonton atau auidiens. Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap keemampuan yang bagaimana yang harus dilakukan secara teknik permaian biola dalam menginterpertsikan tiga buah repertoar musik yang berbeda gaya/ style musiknya dan bagaimana cara mengekspresikan repertoar musik tersebut kepada penonton dalam sebuah pertunjukan solis violin yang diringi dalam bentuk string, ansamble, combo band.Kata kunci: Teknik, Repertoar dan Violin.ABSTRAK         The success of a violin soloist in a music concert is determined by the ability to prepare oneself both technically and musically. For this reason, in this case, maturity is needed in interpreting the musical repertoire that will be played. What violin playing techniques must be prepared, both bowing and fingering techniques, in interpreting the demands contained in the musical repertoire and how to express them in the form of musical performances/concerts to the audience or audience. This writing aims to reveal what abilities should be carried out technically in playing the violin in interpreting three musical repertoires with different musical styles and how to express the musical repertoire to the audience in a solo violin performance accompanied in the form of strings, ensembles, combos Band. Abstract

Seni bertutur atau sering dikenal dengan sastra lisan merupakan satu diantara wujud ekpresi dari Masyarakat. seni bertutur yang tumbuh dan berkembang di Desa Mudung Darat, Kab. Muaro Jambi, yaitu Jolo Mudung. Jolo memiliki makna sebuah nyanyian, sedangkan Mudung merupakan nama sebuah desa. Seni bertutur Jolo Mudung berisikan pantun yang sesuai dengan konteks yang terjadi pada masyarakat. Metode dalam penggarapan karya ini menggunakan: persiapan, tahap proses penciptaan. Hasil penggarapan ini yaitu Jolo mudung adalah sebuah komposisi musik yang terbagi dalam 2 bagian. Komposisi musik Melengking berangkat dari lantunan sahutan Jolo Mudung , yang menggembangkan melodi sahutan Jolo Mudung diwujudkan menjadi sebuah komposisi musik dengan format World musik serta bentuk musik Fantasia.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal Minang women’s music to find a common thread perspective on Minangkabau matrilineal women. The method used in this research is a women’s perspective research method (feminist perspective). This method produces a very distinctive report, which is obtained from data through feminist ethnography, which is a report on the results of field research. The findings are that women’s music based on Adat Salingka Nagari is a women’s music that blends with Adat (tradition) and provides an opportunity to actualize themselves in the societies; as a result of being a Anak Dendang they get more than enough benefits and as family breadwinners.
