The aimed to find out health literacy of smokers in nursing staff through interpersonal role of the head of the room by intervention based on Peplau’s model. Methods: A quasi-experimental research with a pre-and post-control group design, using modification questionnaire of knowledge and behavior. The target population was nurses living in Singkawang who smoke in a hospital. Sample was 35 respondents for each group (controlling group and intervention group) using purposive sampling. Dependent variable is health literacy among nurses who smoke and independent variable is intervention based on Peplau’s model. Intervention is in the form of a guide module consisting of strengthening health literacy (health awareness, self-reflection, cognitive competence and behavioral interpersonal relationships in the head of the room) and   will be implemented to nurses who smoke. Analysis data for bivariate used paired t – test and for multivariate used the McNemar test. Results: The research showed that the difference before and after intervention was 2.23 (p = 0.001) and control group was 8.00 with a default value of 0.870 deviation. The results showed a significant increase in health literacy in nurse smokers through the role of interpersonal head nurse (p=0.001).Conclusion:Role of head of room in interpersonal relationship with Peplau’s model affects the health literacy of nursing staff who smoke.

Nursing as part of services in hospitals also plays a role in providing knowledge, nursing data, patient information needed by documenting nursing care. Objective: To evaluate nurses’ satisfaction is one method to ensure the usefulness of an information system. Methods: This study uses a literature review method that is searched through electronic databases, namely ProQuest, Science Direct, and Google Scholar with the inclusion criteria of articles that have titles and content relevant to the research objectives, using English and Indonesian full text, and articles published in 2016-2020. Results: There were ten research articles that matched the inclusion criteria with the results that most of the nurses were satisfied with the use of information systems in the documentation of nursing care. Conclusion: Nurse satisfaction in using an electronic documentation system can help the management of a hospital for the development of information systems in the context of nursing care, making decisions and policies related to investment in information systems. Keywords: electronic documentation; nurses’ satisfaction; information system

Abstract

This study aims to identify the role of the leader in deciding how telenursing will be used in the medical field. The research method used in this study is a literature review using the Scopus database, clinical key, and research plans using nursing terms. The results of this study highlight the importance of digital leadership. Nursing information technology can improve the standard of care. In conclusion, telenursing benefits patients, nurses, and the government. The nurse's knowledge and skills must complement this. To use telenursing, nurses must be familiar with current technology. As information technology develops, here the role of the leader is vital in increasing team members' knowledge on how to use telenursing to provide nursing care services to patients. Abstract

This study aims to identify fall management problems in psychiatric patients, conduct analysis, develop a plan of action, implement psychiatric fall management innovations, and evaluate the use of appropriate assessment tools in the psychiatric population. The method used is a case report using the ADDIE approach. The research results showed that the attitudes and involvement of nurses in fall management were high (99.42% and 98.86%). However, the results of the focus group discussion (FGD) in the psychiatric room found data that the fall risk assessment tool currently used, namely the fall Morse scale (FMS), has not accommodated the condition of psychiatric patients, namely there is no assessment of psycho-pharmaceutical drugs, sedative drugs and activity and patient elimination. Evaluation of the successful implementation of appropriate fall risk assessment tools in the psychiatric population is seen from the nurses' opinions about the ease of use of the tools, the ease of assessing a patient's risk of falling, and the devices that can accommodate the conditions of psychiatric patients. The result is that 62% recommend using the Wilson-Sims Fall Risk Assessment Tool (WSFRAT), and 38% recommend using the Edmonson Psychiatric Fall Risk Assessment Tool (EPFRAT). In conclusion, using appropriate fall risk assessment tools in the psychiatric population can reduce the incidence of falls and make it easier for nurses to assess the risk of falls in psychiatric patients. Abstract

This study aims to improve the application of unit quality indicator reporting through a digital system that makes it easier for nurses to access so that reports can be submitted quickly and accurately. The method used is a literature review of 11 kinds of literature and various other literature on improving the quality of nursing through the reporting system. The research results show that the basis for nurses in supporting the work program of the Department of Nursing is to maintain the quality of nursing services, which is guided by hospital patient safety. One of them is implementing a technology-based and information system-based nursing quality indicator reporting system. In conclusion, reporting unit quality indicators becomes more accessible, faster, and precise. It becomes an effort to determine the quality of performance and nursing services in each nursing unit, which benefits health workers, hospitals, and the community. Abstract

Nurse managers play an important role in evaluating medical records through management activities, namely planning, organizing, actuating and controlling (POAC) that are carried out conventionally. Nurse managers play an important role in evaluating medical records through management activities, namely planning, organizing, actuating and controlling (POAC) that are carried out conventionally. Now medical records have evolved into integrative Electronic Medical Records (EMR). This review aims to explore the usefulness of EMS technology for nurse managers. Literature searches use two database sources namely ProQuest and Google Scholar with boolan search "Electronic Medical Records for nurse manager". Identified 9 articles worthy of review. The total participants of the entire article were 1539 people consisting of doctors and nurses (implementers and managers). It found that EMR is very useful for nurse managers, can increase productivity, facilitate the documenting of nursing care and improve the quality of care through an integrated system
