Abstract

Abstract In an era of increasingly intense business competition, retaining existing customers has become more critical than merely acquiring new ones. This study offers a novel contribution by simultaneously examining the effects of service quality, product diversity, and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty within a unified analytical model a relationship that has been rarely investigated collectively in prior research. The study explores the key factors influencing customer loyalty, specifically focusing on service quality, product diversity, and customer satisfaction. Employing a quantitative approach and Partial Least Squares (PLS) analysis, the research assesses the direct impact of these three variables on customer loyalty. The results indicate that customer satisfaction exerts the most substantial influence on customer loyalty, with a path coefficient of 0.415, a t-statistic of 6.337, and a p-value of 0.000. Product diversity also demonstrates a statistically significant positive effect (coefficient = 0.269; t-statistic = 3.870; p-value = 0.000), underscoring the importance of offering a wide range of products to sustain customer retention. Meanwhile, service quality contributes positively to customer loyalty, albeit with a comparatively smaller effect (coefficient = 0.208; t-statistic = 3.386; p-value = 0.001). These findings highlight that enhancing customer satisfaction should be prioritized as the core strategy to strengthen loyalty, followed by expanding product variety and continuously improving service quality.

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze the influence of government exports, imports, and expenditures on economic growth in East Java Province in the 2017–2024 period. The analysis unit in this study covers 38 districts/cities in the region. The data used is secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of East Java Province. The research method used is a quantitative approach with statistical analysis techniques using EViews software version 9. Hypothesis testing was carried out through t-test and F-test to determine the partial and simultaneous influence of independent variables on dependent variables. The results show that partially, the export variable has a significant influence on economic growth, while imports and government spending also show significant influences but with different levels of influence. Simultaneously, these three independent variables—exports, imports, and government spending—have a significant effect on economic growth in East Java Province. These findings indicate that international trade activities and government fiscal policies play an important role in driving regional economic growth. Therefore, local governments are expected to formulate the right strategies to improve export performance, manage imports wisely, and optimize government spending to support sustainable economic development.

Abstract

This study examines the factors that influence customer loyalty, focusing on service quality, product variety, and customer satisfaction. Through quantitative analysis, this study identifies the direct influence of each variable on customer loyalty. The results show that customer satisfaction has the most significant impact, where higher levels of satisfaction consistently increase loyalty. Product variety also contributes substantially, indicating the importance of offering a wide range of product choices to retain customers. Service quality has a positive impact on loyalty, although with a smaller effect compared to satisfaction and product variety. These findings emphasize the importance of improving service quality, expanding product variety, and prioritizing customer satisfaction as key strategies to drive sustainable customer loyalty. These strategies can be the basis for building long-term relationships between companies and customers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of open unemployment rate, education level, and minimum wage on economic growth in East Java Province during the period 2017-2024. The approach used is quantitative with an explanatory research design. The data were analyzed using panel data regression method that includes time dimension and geographical area, and supported by statistical tests to measure the significance of the influence of each variable. The results show that the open unemployment rate has a negative and significant effect on economic growth. In contrast, education level has a positive and significant effect on economic growth. Meanwhile, the minimum wage also has a significant but negative effect on economic growth, indicating that an increase in the minimum wage that is not proportional to productivity can hinder economic growth. Simultaneously, the three independent variables significantly affect economic growth in East Java Province. The R-squared value of 41.80% indicates that the variation in economic growth can be explained by these three variables, while the rest is influenced by other factors outside the model.
