Abstract

Kabupaten Mesuji merupakan salah satu kabupaten yang berada di Provinsi Lampung, Indonesia. Kabupaten Mesuji berada di ujung timur laut dan berbatasan langsung dengan Sumatera Selatan. Desa Kejadian mempunyai potensi untuk memanfaatkan lahan pekarangan sebagai salah satu sumber mencapai kemandirian masyarakat dengan budidaya tanaman organik. Budidaya tanaman organik yang akan dilakukan berbasis sumberdaya lokal dengan memanfaatkan potensi lingkungan sekitar. Penggunaan pupuk juga dengan memanfaatkan sampah organik, seresah daun tanaman sekitar serta sisa peternakan seperti kotoran sapi yang banyak. Kompos adalah bahan-bahan organik (sampah organik) yang telah mengalami proses pelapukan karena adanya interaksi antara mikroorganisme (bakteri pembusuk) yang bekerja di dalamnya. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 16 November 2024 di kantor Balai Desa Kejadian, Kecamatan Way Serdang, Kabupaten Mesuji, Provinsi Lampung. Transfer teknologi pembuatan pupuk kompos memberikan manfaat yang besar bagi warga yaitu adanya peningkatan pengetahuan tentang manfaat bahan sisa sampah organik sebagi bahan baku pembuatan pupuk kompos. Sehingga diharapkan kedepannya warga bisa membuat sendiri pupuk kompos dari bahan-bahan organik yang ada disekitar mereka. Hal ini juga dalam rangka untuk mencapai kemandirian masyarakat untuk memanfaatkan potensi yang ada disekitar sebagai bahan baku pupuk organik untuk tanaman sayuran, buah, pangan dan perkebunan.

Abstract

Tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum L.) is an important commodity in the Indonesian economy, but plant growth and production are often hampered by environmental factors such as climate change and suboptimal soil conditions. Organic mulch can be a solution to improve soil quality and support plant growth in adapting climate change. This study aimed to test the effect of various types of organic mulch on the growth and production of Besuki Na-Oogst tobacco plants in Lampung Province. The study was conducted at the Lampung State Polytechnic from September to December 2024 using a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with various types of organic mulch treatments (sengon litter, cogongrass, and oil palm empty bunches) and analyzed using analysis of variance at the 5% level and continued with the Duncan multiple ring test (DMRT) 5%. The results showed that Palm oil empty fruit bunch mulch gave the best results, with an average dry stalk reaching 248.4 grams per stem, an average plant height reaching 101.8 cm, and an average number of leaves of 15.0 leaves at 3-month plant age observation, better than the control. However, the use of organic mulch did not show a significant difference in stem diameter, the impact was more visible in other components such as the number of leaves and dry stalk.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of producing an E-module based on Active Learning on physics subjects for class XI SMA. This research was conducted in 7 high schools in Palangka Raya City with the total number of respondents being 186 students. The research method used is the development of ADDIE with the stages including Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The analysis of the data used in this study is based on the results of the recapitulation of the feasibility test scores obtained from media expert validators and material expert validators. The results of the recapitulation of the feasibility test scores obtained from media experts amounted to 92.07% with a very decent category. While the results of the recapitulation of the feasibility test scores obtained from material experts are 91.85% in the very feasible category. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the Active Learning-based E-module in Physics class XI SMA is very feasible to be used as one of the learning media for students.
