Abstract

This study is about analyzing the translation of English financial terms into Indonesian. The aims of this study are to identify types of financial terms found in the English financial statements based on the basic principles and to analyze the translation techniques applied. This study applies qualitative research method. The qualitative research approach is applied as the qualitative data, English Financial statements and their translations in Indonesian is used as data source in this study. First, the types of financial terms will be analyzed by using financial theory proposed by Hermanson et all (2011) regarding four basic of financial statements. There were four types of financial terms specifically found in each category. Furthermore the analysis of data source in the source language and the target language conducted based on techniques of translation as proposed by Molina and Albir (2002), Larson (1988) to see how the techniques of translation are applied to render financial terms. There are lists of terms that could be classified into those four types of financial statements. There are seven translation techniques used by translator in translating English financial terms into Indonesian. The different types of financial terms have different scope that is different purposes and aims which are to be strived for, both in the ST and in the TT. Eventhough there are differences among types of financial types in terms of its specification, it is inevitably in translating two or more types of financial terms the translator used the same technique. Abstract

Time development will affect the changing needs of graduates. Using teaching materials as one of the factors supporting the learning process is an absolute thing to do so that learning becomes directed. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct this research to prepare highly competitive human resources. This research is a development that aims to produce materials oriented towards analyzing the needs of graduate users. The ADDIE method includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. It was chosen as the basis for developing teaching materials for STMIK STIKOM Indonesia students on Information Technology. The analysis stage is the stage carried out to describe what the learner will learn. Next is the design stage. The purpose of learning, strategies, learning resources, tests are designed. It becomes a supporting factor for the learning process. Development is the next stage where the process of making materials is carried out according to a predetermined design. The next stage is implementation. Submission of material by the results of the development is carried out at this stage. The last stage is the evaluation stage. The revision process is carried out at this stage to assess the designed learning program.Time development will affect the changing needs of graduates. Abstract

ABSTRAKPembelajaran jarak jauh yang diterapkan oleh pemerintah di masa pandemik ini membuat paraguru di SDN 1 Kerobokan untuk berusaha semakin kreatif dalam mendesain pembelajaran.Pembelajaran dalam bentuk video menarik minat siswa sehingga para siswa merasa lebih nyamansaat belajar dengan mendengar suara dan wajah gurunya. Banyak guru yang masih belum bisamendesain video secara mandiri sehingga dilakukanlah pengabdian masyarakat dengan judulPelatihan Pembuatan Video Pembelajaran Menggunakan PowerPoint dan Camtasia di SD Negeri1 Kerobokan. Kegiatan ini dilangsungkan sebanyak empat kali dengan metode daring. Tujuandari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan wawasan pengetahuan serta keterampilan tentang teknikpembuatan video pembelajaran. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah guru-guru SD Negeri 1 Kerobokan.Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah metode praktik,ceramah, diskusi,tanya jawab dan pelatihan. Para peserta sangat antusias mengikuti kegiatan ini karena sebagianbesar guru belum pernah melaksanakan kegiatan pembuatan video pembelajaran. Setelahmengikuti kegiatan ini para peserta dapat membuat video pembelajaran sesuai dengan matapelajaran yang diampu.Kata kunci: pelatihan, video, pembelajaran, guruABSTRACTThe e-learning lessons applied by the government during this pandemic force the Public PrimarySchool teachers in Kerobokan (SD Negeri 1 Kerobokan) to be more creative in designing theirlesson materials. Learning session in the form of video attracts students’ attention and make themmore comfortable during learning session because they can see and hear their teachers clearly.Most of the teachers were unable to create their own learning video which made the workshopon Making Learning Videos Using PowerPoints and Camtasia has been carried out at SDN 1Kerobokan as one of the community service activity. This activity was conducted four times byvirtual meeting. The purpose of this activity was providing knowledge and skills on technique ofmaking learning videos. It was targeting teachers of SD Negeri 1 Kerobokan. The methods wereused in this workshop include practical methods, lectures, discussions, questions and answerssession, and training. The participants were very enthusiastic in the activity because most of theteachers lack of knowledge and practice of making learning videos. After participating in thisactivity, the participants are able to make learning videos on teachers’ teaching subjects.Keywords: training,video, learning, teachers
