The present study is dealt with An Analysis of Relative Clauses Made by the Eight Grade Students of SMP Negeri 3 Selat in Academic Year 2017/2018. The researcher was interested in making an analysis of Relative clauses made by the students under study. The present study is intended to assess the acquisition of relative clauses made by the eighth-grade students of SMP N 3 Selat Karangasem in academic year 2017/2018. In other words, this study is to figure out the ability of the subject under study in understanding relative clauses. The present’s study which use ex-post facto research design with descriptive analysis was intended to answer the following research question: to what extent is the acquisition of relative clauses made by the eighth-grade students of SMP N 3 Selat Karangasem in academic year 2017/2019? In order to answer the research question before, the data were required for the present study which in the form of raw score is showing the ability of the students in mastering relative clauses, were collected by administering the valid and reliable research instrument in form of multiple-choice test items. Then the data is analyzed by using Norm-Reference measure with five standard values. The populations of the present study are the eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Selat which consist of 206 students. They are considered to have heterogeneous characteristics. In this study 30 students are considered as a sample of the study by using random sampling technique. The data of the study is clearly showed that: (1) there are 4 students or (13.33%) out of 30 students under study who showed excellent ability of relative clauses. (2) There are 4 students or (13.33%) out of 30 students under study who showed good ability of relative clauses (3) there are 10 students or (33.33%) out of 30 students under study who showed sufficient ability of relative clauses. (4) There are 12 students or (40%) under 30 students under study who showed insufficient ability of relative clause. (5) No one students or (0%) out of 30 students who showed poor ability of relative clauses. In the result of the study were used as the basses to assign level/grade to the subject under study, there are 12 students or 40% out of 30 students under investigation who fail in learning and acquiring relative clauses. It means that 40% of them still have low ability. The finding of the present study can be used as the basses in planning much better language teaching especially in mastering grammar or relative clauses.

The present study is dealt with the effect of guided writing strategy through first semester students in STMIK STIKOM INDONESIA. The method of analyzing data in this research was conducted by the descriptive analysis. Before that, simple random sampling was used to determine the sample. Two groups were treated differently. One group treated by a guided writing strategy and the other treated by a conventional writing strategy. The data in this study analyzed solely in a descriptive way. The descriptive analysis of the study includes measures of central tendency or averages (mean, median, and mode) and measures of spread or dispersion (standard deviation, variance, and range). The result showed that when the students were treated by guided writing the mean of the result was 80.08 meanwhile when the students were0 treated by conventional writing skill was 76.77. Strengthened by the descriptive analysis, it was found that the mean score of writing competency tests for the students who treated by using guided writing strategy was 80.76 and the mean score of writing competency treated by using conventional writing strategy was 76.76. From the mean score finding, it can be concluded that according to learning strategy, the group of students treated by using guided writing strategy was better than the students treated by using conventional writing strategy.

Proses Absensi STMIK STIKOM Indonesia saat ini telah menggunakan mesin pengenalan sidik jari. Seperti kita ketahui bersama output dari mesin pengenalan sidik jari telah dilengkapi dengan software yang dapat menyajikan laporan absensi. Namun laporan tersebut belum sesuai dengan kondisi kerja di STMIK STIKOM Indonesia. Kondisi yang dimaksud adalah shift kerja yang berubah-ubah, sehingga mengharuskan operator mengubah data shift kerja yang terdapat dalam software setiap perubahan terjadi. Dari segi efektivitas pekerjaan, hal tersebut kurang memadai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan laporan absensi yang dibutuhkan oleh manajemen STMIK STIKOM Indonesia serta untuk mendapatkan rancang bangun ETL data absensi yang dapat digunakan sebagai materi pembelajaran pada mata kuliah Data Integration. ETL adalah kependekan dari Extract Transform and Load. Dalam pengertian sederhana, ETL adalah sekumpulan proses untuk mengambil dan memproses data dari satu atau banyak sumber data menjadi sumber baru. Proses ETL yang dilakukan telah berhasil mengolah data absensi yang bersumber dari mesin fingerprint ke dalam laporan rekapitulasi kehadiran, jam kerja kurang, jam kerja lebih dalam sebulan serta laporan rincian absensi yang berisi jumlah jam kerja perharinya.

ABSTRACTDescriptive qualitative with analytical methods are used in research about the effect of Kahoot! on the results of grammar learning. This method is done by collecting data on 30 students of English class through online classroom. Data collection is based on Google Classroom and the use of Kahoot! as a benchmark for grammar assessment. The first data retrieval showed the class average value was quite low and is followed by the results of the individual student scores which were relatively low. After practicing grammar using the simple past tense through Kahoot as a learning medium, the class average results increased from 44.53 to 55.60. The highest score of students who initially was 75 increased to 85 as well as the lowest score from 30 to 55. In addition, the percentage of C and D scores at the beginning of the online class was 70% decreased to 60%, which meant that there was a decrease of 10%. Meanwhile, the percentage of A and B scores increased by 10% from 30% to 40%. Questionnaires were also distributed after the application of Kahoot! to find out students’ responses and the result showed that 80% of students chose to use Kahoot for various reasons, such as Kahoot was more interesting and made students' interest and concentration increased. Therefore, it can be concluded that Kahoot was able to change students' thinking about grammar, there was an increase in class and individual average scores and Kahoot visual effects were able to build interest and increase student concentration.Keyword : Kahoot!, Grammar, English LanguageABSTRAKPenelitian tentang pengaruh Kahoot! terhadap hasil belajar grammar dilakukan dengan menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode analitis. Metode ini dilakukan dengan pengambilan data terhadap 30 mahasiswa kelas bahasa Inggris yang dilakukan secara online. Pengambilan data berdasarkan dari Google Classroom dan pengunaan Kahoot! sebagai tolak ukur untuk penilaian grammar. Pengambilan data yang pertama menunjukkan nilai rata-rata kelas yang cukup rendah serta diikuti dengan hasil nilai individual mahasiswa yang relatif kurang. Setelah latihan grammar yaitu menggunakan simple past tense melalui Kahoot! sebagai media pembelajaran maka diperoleh hasil rata-rata kelas dari 44,53 menjadi 55.60. Skor tertinggi mahasiswa yang awalnya 75 meningkat menjadi 85 begitu juga dengan skor terendah dari 30 menjadi 55. Selain itu persentasi nilai C dan D yang di awal kelas online adalah 70% menurun menjadi 60% artinya ada penurunan 10%. Sedangkan presentasi nilai A dan B naik 10 % dari 30% menjadi 40%. Kuisioner juga dibagikan setelah penerapan Kahoot! untuk mengetahui respon mahasiswa dan hasilnya 80% mahasiswa memilih menggunakan Kahoot! dengan berbagai macam alasan salah satunya adalah Kahoot! lebih menarik dan membuat minat dan konsentrasi mahasiswa meningkat. Oleh karena itulah dapat disimpulkan bahwa Kahoot! mampu merubah pemikiran mahasiswa tentang grammar, adanya peningkatan nilai rata-rata kelas maupun individual serta efek-efek visual Kahoot yang mampu membangun minat serta konsentrasi mahasiswa meningkat.Kata kunci: Kahoot!, Grammar, Bahasa Inggris

Kecakapan berpikir tingkat tinggi adalah kemampuan yang harus diajarkan pada proses belajar di sekolah demi mempersiapkan mahasiswa menghadapi abad ke-21. Dalam Bahasa Inggris, HOTS dapat diintegrasikan melalui pembelajaran yang mencakup 4 keterampilan yaitu mendengarkan, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis. Dengan adanya wabah COVID-19 yang mengharuskan kegiatan pembelajaran dilakukan di rumah (Learn From Home), guru harus merencanakan pembelajaran yang tetap mengintegrasikan HOTS dan mengasah kreatifitas mahasiswa. Salah satu caranya adalah dengan menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. DSTP berbantuan google classroom adalah model pembelajaran yang mengadaptasi model pembelajaran berbasis proyek (PjBL) (Kriwasss,1999 dalam Fragoulis 2009) Menulis berbasis proses (Hyland 2003), taksonomi digital Bloom (Crurches 2009), proses pembelajaran berbasis teknologi (Lee and Owen 2004) serta pembelajaran lewat LMS www.classroom.google.com. Proses pelaksanaan proyek ini meliputi beberapa langkah antara lain: (1) pemilihan topik, (2) organisasi ide/mind map, (3)Pengembangan/evaluasi, dan (5) publikasi. Produk yang dihasilkan dari penerapan proyek distell ini adalah mahasiswa dapat menghasilkan video monolog bertemakan descriptive text yang sesuai dengan struktur teks, unsur kebahasaan dan fungsi sosialnya. Hasil dari penerapan proyek distell terintegrasi google classroom ini dipercaya bisa (1) membuat mahasiswa senang dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris, (2) Meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap teks descriptive, (3)Meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara mahasiswa, (4) meningkatkan keterampilan TIK mahasiswa terutama dalam pembuatan video digital dengan menggunakan aplikasi editing video dan (5) pengintegrasian HOTS dalam DSTP mampu meningkatkan pembelajaran teks descriptive mahasiswa STMIK-Stikom Indonesia

pilih. English for Spesific Purposes (ESP) adalah kemampuan Bahasa Inggris yang dikhususnya untuk tujuan tertentu. Writing skill adalah salah satu skill yang memiliki capaian kurang maksimal dilihat dari nilai hasil pembelajaran Mahasiswa STMIK-STIKOM Indonesia. Di era seperti sekarang ini dimana teknologi digital menjadi konsumsi dan kebutuhan vital dari masyarakat, media sosial adalah salah satu hal yang amat disukai para anak muda. Berangkat dari hal tersebut maka penelitian ini akan menggunakan media sosial kususnya Instagram sebagai media pembelajaran dan dapat memotivasi mahasiswa dalam belajar Bahasa Inggris. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah hasil tulisan baik pre-test maupun post-test, serta observasi, dan dokumentasi. Untuk mengetahui keefektifan media sosial Instagram sebagai sarana belajar akan dinilai dari hasil kuisioner dari mahasiswa. Sampel dari penelitian ini merupakan 30 mahasiswa jurusan Teknik Informatika, STMIK-STIKOM Indonesia. Tahapan dari proses pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini meliputi; (1) observasi kepada subjek penelitian ini, (2) tahap sosialisasi dengan mahasiswa tentang bagaimana tata cara pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media sosial ini khususnya dengan menggunakan Instagram, (3), pelaksanaannya penelitian ini, pada tahap ini mahasiswa akan diberikan materi pada awalnya dimana mereka tidak hanya menerima materi tersebut tetapi harus mencari materi pendukung lainnya, serta berdiskusi dan menerima saran serta masukan dari dosen maupun teman- temannya, (4)Tahapan terakhir adalah tahap pelaksanaan penggunaan Instagram sebagai sarana diskusi serta hasil.

Pandemi COVID-19 memaksa pendidik untuk dapat menyelenggarakan pembelajaran secara daring. Kondisi tersebut menimbulkan permasalahan di SMK Restumuning karena sebagai besar tenaga pendidik belum dapat menggunakan platform pembelajaran daring yang berdampak kurang optimalnya pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring. Untuk membantu menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut diselenggarakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilaksanakan oleh tim dosen STMIK STIKOM Indonesia (STIKI Indonesia) dikemas dalam skema STIKI Social Engagement yang bertujuan memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan tenaga pendidik di SMK Restumuning dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran daring. Pelatihan dilaksanakan dari bulan maret sampai juni dengan jumlah peserta 27 orang yang merupakan tenaga pendidik SMK Restumuning. Pelatihan yang diberikan meliputi pengelolaan kelas secara daring, penggunaan peralatan video conference dan penggunaan learning management system (LMS). Hasil pretest yang dilakukan setelah pelatihan menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta pelatihan dalam melakukan pembelajaran daring.

This present study dealt with An Analysis of Elliptical Construction Made by the Ninth Grade Students of SMPN 3 Selat in Academic Year 2016/2017. This present study was conducted by answering the research question: to what extent is the acquisition of elliptical construction made by the ninth grade students of SMPN 3 Selat ninth in academic year 2016/2017? The aim of the present study here was to analyze of the elliptical construction acquisition made by the ninth grade students of SMPN 3 Selat in academic year 2016/ 2017. The present study made use of ex post facto research design or non experiment research with descriptive analysis. This present study was conducted by recorded the student answer in the test. The investigation was focused on the analysis elliptical sentences made by the subject under study. After got the data the researcher got important result. The result that could be showed as follow: criterion, that (1) there was no one (0%) out of the whole subjects under study showed excellent ability in mastering elliptical construction, (2) there was only 9 subjects (26.47%) of the whole subjects under study showed good ability in mastering elliptical construction, (3) there was 19 subjects (55.88%) of the whole subjects under study showed sufficient ability in mastering elliptical construction, (4) there was 5 subjects (14.70%) of the whole subjects under study showed insufficient ability in mastering elliptical construction, (5) there was only 1 of the subject (2.95%) of the whole subjects under study showed poor ability in mastering elliptical construction. This finding showed that the acquisition of the ninth grade student of SMPN 3 Selat in academic year 2016/2017 in mastering elliptical construction was average. The subject under this study needed to improve their ability to construct the elliptical sentences whether outside or in the classroom because it was very useful for their study.
