Abstract

This research aims to determine the differences in the ability to think creatively between natural science students who used the Guided Inquiry learning model assisted with Mind Maps and students who were taught by using conventional learning on fourth grade elementary school students. This type of research was a quasi-experimental research with Non-Equivalent Post-test Only Control Group Design. The population of this research was numbered and the sample was 61 students taken by random sampling technique. Data collection was done by essay test technique. Data were analyzed by using inferential statistical analysis (t-test) with t-count = 3.021 and t-table = 1.671 Based on testing criteria, t-count> t-table (3.021,> 1.671). From the analysis of the data it was found that there was an influence of the Guided Inquiry learning model assisted with Mind Maps to the creative thinking abilities on the fourth grade elementary school students. The implication in this research was to use Guided Inquiry learning model assisted with Mind Maps could make students more active and happy because the Guided Inquiry learning model directly involves students in conducting experiments or research on a problem given by the teacher.

Abstract

This study investigates irrelevancy within multilingual tourism reviews, focusing on how off-topic or ambiguous user-generated content can undermine reliable insight for travelers. A consolidated dataset is constructed by combining a publicly available resource from Kaggle with additional posts acquired from X (formerly Twitter). Each review is manually labeled as relevant or ambiguous to capture instances where the content fails to clearly address travel or hotel-related topics. We employ a multilingual BERT embedding model to encode the diverse language inputs, enriched with a sentiment vector derived via knowledge distillation from twitter-xlm-roberta-base to DistilBERT. A gating mechanism then fuses the semantic and emotional signals, highlighting parts of each review most influenced by user attitudes. The final classification stage involves fine-tuning a BERT-based network to distinguish between unambiguous and ambiguous content. Experimental comparisons with a Monolingual BERT approach and a baseline (multilingual embedding without sentiment) reveal that incorporating sentiment features yields consistent improvements in accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. This outcome underscores the importance of capturing emotional cues to mitigate errors arising from partial dissatisfaction, unclear references, or cultural nuances. From a practical standpoint, the results point to potential applications in automated moderation, improved recommendation systems, and policy guidelines for tourism platforms. Overall, this work demonstrates that sentiment-aware, multilingual models can enhance detection of irrelevancy and ambiguity, fostering more trustworthy and context-rich online review ecosystems in the travel domain.

Abstract

This paper explores the use of the AdaBoost classifier to evaluate service quality metrics in the restaurant industry, specifically at Restaurant X. The study focuses on how machine learning, particularly ensemble learning algorithms, can improve the understanding of customer satisfaction by analyzing various service attributes, such as food quality, staff behavior, wait times, and ambiance. By applying AdaBoost, the model combines multiple weak classifiers to create a stronger, more accurate prediction model that identifies key factors influencing customer experience. The research highlights the importance of real-time data and customer feedback in refining service quality metrics and suggests that incorporating sentiment analysis and other dynamic data sources can provide a more comprehensive view of customer satisfaction. The findings suggest that using machine learning algorithms, like AdaBoost, can enhance operational decision-making, improve customer service, and contribute to overall business success. Additionally, the study proposes the continuous updating of the model to reflect changing customer preferences and trends in the competitive food service industry. This approach can lead to better service, customer retention, and a strategic advantage for restaurants seeking to meet the evolving demands of the market.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPembelajaran jarak jauh yang diterapkan oleh pemerintah di masa pandemik ini membuat paraguru di SDN 1 Kerobokan untuk berusaha semakin kreatif dalam mendesain pembelajaran.Pembelajaran dalam bentuk video menarik minat siswa sehingga para siswa merasa lebih nyamansaat belajar dengan mendengar suara dan wajah gurunya. Banyak guru yang masih belum bisamendesain video secara mandiri sehingga dilakukanlah pengabdian masyarakat dengan judulPelatihan Pembuatan Video Pembelajaran Menggunakan PowerPoint dan Camtasia di SD Negeri1 Kerobokan. Kegiatan ini dilangsungkan sebanyak empat kali dengan metode daring. Tujuandari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan wawasan pengetahuan serta keterampilan tentang teknikpembuatan video pembelajaran. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah guru-guru SD Negeri 1 Kerobokan.Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah metode praktik,ceramah, diskusi,tanya jawab dan pelatihan. Para peserta sangat antusias mengikuti kegiatan ini karena sebagianbesar guru belum pernah melaksanakan kegiatan pembuatan video pembelajaran. Setelahmengikuti kegiatan ini para peserta dapat membuat video pembelajaran sesuai dengan matapelajaran yang diampu.Kata kunci: pelatihan, video, pembelajaran, guruABSTRACTThe e-learning lessons applied by the government during this pandemic force the Public PrimarySchool teachers in Kerobokan (SD Negeri 1 Kerobokan) to be more creative in designing theirlesson materials. Learning session in the form of video attracts students’ attention and make themmore comfortable during learning session because they can see and hear their teachers clearly.Most of the teachers were unable to create their own learning video which made the workshopon Making Learning Videos Using PowerPoints and Camtasia has been carried out at SDN 1Kerobokan as one of the community service activity. This activity was conducted four times byvirtual meeting. The purpose of this activity was providing knowledge and skills on technique ofmaking learning videos. It was targeting teachers of SD Negeri 1 Kerobokan. The methods wereused in this workshop include practical methods, lectures, discussions, questions and answerssession, and training. The participants were very enthusiastic in the activity because most of theteachers lack of knowledge and practice of making learning videos. After participating in thisactivity, the participants are able to make learning videos on teachers’ teaching subjects.Keywords: training,video, learning, teachers

Abstract

The volatility and speculative nature of cryptocurrencies present significant challenges for accurate price forecasting. This study evaluates the performance of the AutoRegressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) model in predicting Dogecoin (DOGE) prices based on historical data obtained from reputable cryptocurrency platforms such as Binance, Coinbase, and CoinGecko. The ARIMA(5,1,0) model demonstrated strong performance under stable market conditions, achieving a Mean Squared Error (MSE) of 0.0006656 and a Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) of 0.0258, effectively capturing linear price trends. However, the model’s limitations in handling high volatility and non-linear dependencies—common characteristics of cryptocurrency markets—were also identified. To address these challenges, the study explores hybrid ARIMA–neural network models that integrate statistical and machine learning approaches, improving predictive accuracy during periods of market instability. The results suggest that while ARIMA provides a solid baseline for time series forecasting, hybrid and sentiment-aware models incorporating social media and blockchain metrics offer more robust and adaptive solutions for dynamic cryptocurrency markets.

Abstract

The Lecture Program Unit (SAP) consists of determining learning objectives, the material to be discussed, how to present it, supporting media and learning resources that can be used. At the end of each teaching and learning activity, for the purposes of monitoring and evaluation, teaching staff are required to write SAP realization in a teaching journal. At STMIK STIKOM Indonesia, the process of writing this teaching journal is done manually. The lecturer filled out the material given in class in a teaching journal. The process is done manually resulting in the process of monitoring and evaluation can not be done regularly. In this research, a Web-based monitoring system for teaching and learning process was developed in STMIK STIKOM Indonesia. From the test results obtained, the system built can facilitate lecturer coordinator lecturers to monitor the course of the teaching and learning process. In addition, the system built can also facilitate lecturer coordinator lecturers in conducting the recapitulation process of the suitability of SAP with the realization of SAP written by lecturers supporting courses

Abstract

Bali merupakan salah satu pulau di Indonesia yang terkenal dengan keindahaan alam dan juga kebudayaannya. Salah satu bagian yang mencerminkan budaya Bali adalah kesenian. Kesenian merupakan salah satu sarana untuk mengekspresikan rasa keindahan dari dalam diri manusia. Saat ini, banyak orang yang menyatakan penting mempelajari kesenian Bali, namun di era modern seperti saat ini pengetahuan mereka akan kesenian Bali masih sangat minim. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan media pembelajaran untuk mengatasi hal tersebut. Salah satunya adalah aplikasi media pembelajaran kesenian Bali berbasis website. Aplikasi pembelajaran kesenian Bali ini mampu melakukan pembagian soal secara acak, dengan mengimplementasikan algoritma fisher-yates shuffle. Algoritma ini mampu mengacak data yang bersifat dinamis. Pengujian aplikasi menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi mampu melakukan pengacakan soal dengan baik, sehingga dapat dikatakan aplikasi ini ini dapat berjalan dengan baik.

Abstract

Lagu daerah adalah lagu atau musik yang berasal dari suatu daerah tertentu dan menjadi populer dinyanyikan baik oleh rakyat daerah sendiri maupun masyarakat lain. Salah satu contohnya adalah lagu (gending-gending) Bali. Terdapat beberapa jenis lagu Bali, salah satunya adalah Gending Rare. Gending Rare pada umumnya terbagi menjadi tiga kategori, yaitu Gending Dolanan, Gending Janger dan Gending Sang Hyang. Dari hasil survey yang dilakukan terhadap 30 responden yang berumur antara 13-50 tahun di tempat publik kota Denpasar, didapat hasil 63% kurang mengenal tentang lagu daerah dan 37% mengenal lagu-lagu daerah Bali. Dari survey juga ditemukan bahwa kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang lagu daerah Bali tersebut disebabkan oleh kurangnya media informasi yang memuat tentang lagu-lagu daerah Bali. Pada penelitian ini penulis mengembangkan suatu Media Informasi berupa website responsive yang dapat menyimpan lagu-lagu daerah Bali beserta berbagai informasi terkait dengan lagu-lagu daerah Bali. Pada media informasi yang dikembangkan juga terdapat soal-soal yang dapat digunakan untuk menguji pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai lagu-lagu daerah Bali. Pada penayangan soal digunakan algoritma Fisher Yates Shuffle sehingga soal yand ditampilkan adalah bersifat acak. Dari hasil pengujian blackbox yang dilakukan didapat hasil bahwa segala fungsionalitas yang diharapkan dari sistem sudah dapat berjalan dengan baik.
