Abstract

This article aims to explain the importance of maintaining character education, especially for early childhood to cultivate a sense of reading through the media of picture storybooks. This article uses the Literature study method by examining library data such as books, magazines, documents, historical stories, or related research objects. The formation of characters like to read children is very important because to prepare children to face the elementary school level. Early childhood growth and development is very rapid. Then the ability to read in children needs to be considered. By reading children will gain new information, knowledge and experiences. Remembering the childhood is a true adventure and learning that is full of honesty in realizing his thoughts and expressing his feelings. All parents certainly want to make their children happy, seeing them grow up healthy, intelligent, and successful in their lives actively in moving so that children are healthy both physically and spiritually.

Abstract

Anxiety is an unpleasant feeling of fear and worry that occurs in many psychopathologies and is a major aspect of many disorders. One of the methods used to reduce anxiety is the method of giving motivational films. This study aims to determine anxiety before watching motivational films and after watching motivational films as well as physical and psychological anxiety before watching movies and after watching films. The subjects in this study were prospective new students who came from organda (regional organization) Hipermata. The subjects were selected through non-random sampling with purposive sampling technique with 6 subjects. The research method used is experimental research using within subject design, namely one group pretest-posttest design. The measuring instrument used in this study was the pretest and posttest scales. The analysis technique used in this study is the Wilcoxon test using SPSS 22, which shows that the hypothesis is significant 0.014 <α 0.05, the hypothesis is accepted, so it can be concluded that anxiety before watching a motivational film is higher than after watching a motivational film

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of playing coloring pictures against reducing stress levels in full day school students of SD Islam Roushon Fikr Jombang. The hypothesis proposed is that there is an effect of playing coloring pictures on decreasing stress levels in full day school pupils. The population in this study was grade VI students of Roushon Fikr Islamic Elementary School aged 11-12 years. The sample taken was a sixth-grader of 52 students with purposive random sampling technique, consisting of 26 students as a control group, and 26 students as an experimental group. The free variable in this study is playing coloring images, while the dependent variable is the level of stress revealed with the scale. Data analysis used T-test analysis between groups. The results of the t-test between A1-A2 found that t = 9.664 with p = 0.000 (p < 0.01), this shows that there is a very significant difference in terms of stress between students who do not participate in drawing coloring games and students who follow drawing coloring games. The stress of pupils who follow coloring games (A2) is lower than that of pupils who do not participate in coloring games (A1). These results suggest that the hypothesis proposed in the study is accepted.

Abstract

Technology can be something that benefits us and can be something that is detrimental to us. We can feel the impact too. Especially when we look at this era, many young people are anti-social because they are too preoccupied with their world on social media compared to the real world, many young people are addicted to gadgets, a lack of culture, many young people and minors dress style they have also experienced many changes starting from very minimal clothing, sadly they are proud of that. The increasing number of online dating sites and pornographic content that are of interest to young people and can be accessed freely, so it's no wonder that there are more and more cases of sexual violence and even murder, originating from social media. So this is the background of the researcher to study this matter. The data collection technique uses the literature research method where data collection comes from articles, journals and books as study material. This research aims to provide readers with an understanding of the impact we feel from the media and the importance of the role of parents in accompanying and directing their children through their teenage years so that they can minimize the negative impact of social media.
