Abstract

Indonesian Naval Academy (AAL) is tasked with organizing the first education for Indonesian Navy volunteer officers at the academy level which produces Indonesian Navy officers who are tanggap, tanggon and trengginas. The purpose of education at AAL is to educate and train cadets to become future Indonesia Navy officers who are professional, able to adapt to science and technology, have a Sapta Marga spirit, and have the skills in accordance with the demands of the initial assignment on the Republic of Indonesia Warships (KRI) and Platoon Commander in the Marine Corps in order to support the duties of the Indonesian Navy. To realize Superior Human Resources, the Indonesian Naval Academy builds an Education system that is oriented towards the Tri Basic Patterns of Indonesia Armed Force Education, namely through Teaching, Training, and Nurturing Methods (Jarlatsuh) which cannot be separated from one another. Based on existing problems evaluation, assessment and development of the AAL education system need to be carried out. Evaluation is carried out using a system dynamic approach and Game Theory, namely by identifying the variables that affect Jarlatsuh and building a causal loop diagram followed by building the main model and its supporting submodels, to develop the AAL Graduate Quality model which consists of 4 (four) sub-models which include: AAL Graduate Quality Submodel. Teaching Submodels. Training Submodels. Nurturing Submodel. then implementing scenarios for intervening variables that need attention and determining policies using the Game Theory method with an approach to cooperative games by adopting the existing system in Japan's NDA. Abstract

Improving the quality and quantity of livestock production can be achieved by creating a comfortable and safe environment for animals. The use of closed-house pens is one of the methods employed to control temperature, humidity, airflow, and the cleanliness of the living space for animals. Close-house pens are equipped with Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), including the combination of an Evaporative Cooling Pad (ECP) and an exhaust fan. The characteristics of the shape and material composition of the ECP components influence pressure drop and the flow pattern entering the room. This research focuses on reviewing papers related to the development of numerical simulation studies of close-house pens and ECP. The design of numerical simulations and the selection of boundary conditions enhance the precision and error level of predicting fluid flow distribution in closed-house cages. In addition to numerical simulations, the application of energy management calculations provides recommendations regarding the combination of HVAC design and environmental control parameters that need to be considered.

Abstract

The agribusiness sector faces complex challenges, ranging from high volumes of production waste, dependence on limited natural resources, to pressures on environmental sustainability and food security. The still-dominant linear business model worsens this condition, while the implementation of Circular Economy (CE) has not been systematically integrated into the agribusiness value chain. This study aims to analyze the application of CE principles in strengthening sustainable agribusiness through a Systematic Literature Review. The research approach refers to PRISMA (2020) guidelines and the PICo framework (Population, Interest, Context) to ensure the accuracy of literature selection. A total of 26 selected scientific publications were thematically analyzed using the Triple Bottom Line framework (Economic, Social, Environmental) and Resource-Based View perspective. The analysis results indicate that the implementation of CE at every stage of the agribusiness value chain—from production, processing, to distribution—provides significant contributions to resource efficiency, waste reduction, and ecosystem regeneration. The main driving factors for implementation include policy support, technological innovation, and consumer awareness toward sustainable products. Conversely, the main barriers include limited technical capacity of smallholder farmers, digital divide, and weak coordination among stakeholders. Conceptually, this study generates an integrative model showing that CE success is determined by the configuration of valuable resources, rare capabilities, and collaborative relationships that are difficult to imitate. This research confirms that CE is not only a technical strategy, but a development paradigm for agribusiness oriented toward innovation, social inclusiveness, and long-term resilience.

Abstract

The construction service industry in Indonesia plays a crucial role in national economic growth, contributing significantly through major infrastructure projects. However, the increasing competition among construction service companies has made it essential for businesses to adopt effective marketing and reputation-building strategies. This study aims to analyse the effect of Word of Mouth (WOM) and digital marketing on the decision to use contractor services, with brand image as a mediating variable, especially at CV. Adicitra Karya in Yogyakarta. This study used a survey of 20 consumers of CV Adicitra Karya, with data collected using a structured questionnaire with a Likert Scale. Data analysis was conducted with Partial Least Squares (PLS) to test the validity, measurement model, and structural model. The results show that WOM has a significant effect on brand image, which in turn affects service utilisation decisions. Digital marketing does not have a significant effect on service utilisation decisions, and its effect on brand image is also limited. This research is useful for businesses in the construction industry, digital marketing, and service-based industries. This research provides insights into how WOM and digital marketing influence consumer decisions, especially in service industries such as construction. This research enriches knowledge by exploring the interactive relationship between WOM, digital marketing, and brand image in the context of construction services. This research provides a unique perspective on how WOM can influence consumer decisions through brand image, especially in a sector that relies heavily on trust and reputation.

Abstract

Defense organizations face complex and unpredictable security threats, demanding not only technological advancement but also transformation in human and organizational dimensions.  The purpose of this study is to formulate a conceptual model called the synergic performance enabler model which integrates four strategic variables organizational culture, transformational leadership, institutional trust, and work motivation in improving performance and human resource development in national defense organizations. This study uses a systematic literature review approach, analyzing 40 reputable national and international journal articles indexed in Scopus, SINTA, and Google Scholar between 2015 and 2025. The sources were selected based on relevance to defense sector performance, leadership transformation, organizational behavior, and institutional development. The literature synthesis shows that organizational culture and transformational leadership are consistently associated with increased organizational performance and adaptability, particularly when supported by institutional trust and high intrinsic motivation. These four factors form a mutually reinforcing framework for achieving sustainable defense reform. The proposed synergic performance enabler model addresses gaps in prior research by offering an integrative perspective on human capital management in the defense sector. This study is the first to conceptualize a defense-specific organizational development model that combines leadership, trust, motivation, and culture into a unified strategy.

Abstract

Background: Digital transformation in hospital systems has accelerated globally, embedding electronic health records, clinical decision-support systems, interoperability platforms, and performance dashboards into governance architectures. Leading institutions, including the World Health Organization and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, position digital health as central to system resilience and efficiency. However, growing scholarship highlights unintended consequences, including documentation burden, alert overload, and clinician cognitive strain. This study develops a governance-oriented interpretive model linking digital work intensification, digital fatigue, performance paradox dynamics, and multilevel human resource (HR) resilience in smart hospitals. Methods: A qualitative secondary analysis was conducted on 28 documents (2020–2026), comprising peer-reviewed articles, international policy reports, and institutional governance frameworks. Reflexive thematic analysis, informed by socio-technical systems theory, performance paradox theory, and workforce resilience theory, was applied to examine documents as institutional artifacts shaping accountability regimes, workload structures, and adaptive capacities. Results: Four governance-mediated dynamics were identified. First, digital work intensification emerged through expanded documentation mandates, dense alert systems, and interoperability-driven coordination complexity. Second, digital fatigue was framed as an institutional risk marked by cumulative cognitive load and relational strain. Third, a performance paradox was evident, with efficiency gains coexisting alongside workforce strain. Fourth, HR resilience, through individual coping, team buffering, and participatory IT governance, functioned as an adaptive moderator but did not eliminate structural workload misalignment. Conclusion: Workforce sustainability in digitally intensive hospitals depends less on technological sophistication than on governance alignment among accountability systems, digital infrastructure, and human capacity.

Abstract

Background: Emerging public health crises expose structural vulnerabilities within national health systems, particularly in governance coordination, workforce sustainability, supply chain stability, and digital integration. Indonesia’s COVID-19 experience revealed gaps between regulatory design and operational implementation across these domains. Strengthening governance alignment is therefore essential to enhance preparedness for future systemic shocks. Methods: This study employed systematic document analysis and triangulated synthesis of national regulatory instruments, administrative records, and peer-reviewed studies published between 2019 and 2025. Using iterative cross-domain coding, four analytical domains were examined: crisis governance architecture, workforce resilience, strategic supply chain capacity, and digital health integration. Results: Findings indicate regulatory completeness but operational fragmentation. Temporary dual coordination structures during the pandemic reflected governance misalignment between central and subnational authorities. Persistent psychosocial strain among healthcare workers signals risks to long-term workforce sustainability. Structural dependence on imported pharmaceutical inputs and uneven logistics infrastructure exposed supply chain vulnerabilities. Although digital integration initiatives have progressed, subnational analytic capacity remains uneven. Cross-domain synthesis suggests that institutional alignment gaps, rather than policy absence, constitute the primary systemic challenge. Conclusion: Enhancing Indonesia’s health system resilience requires structural integration across governance, workforce protection, supply chain strategy, and digital capacity. The proposed Integrated Resilience Management Framework offers a policy-oriented pathway to improve institutional coherence and preparedness for future public health crises. This study contributes to health policy scholarship by translating cross-domain structural gaps into actionable system reform strategies.
