Abstract

Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini memiliki tujuan mengetahui metode dan prosedur dalam menerjemahkan onomatope dari Little Abid Seri Pengetahuan Dasar yang terdiri dari delapan judul buku. Metode penerjemahan yang dipakai secara berurutan dari yang lebih banyak dipakai adalah metode semantik (17) dan metode komunikatif (5). Prosedur penerjemahan yang dipakai secara berurutan dari yang lebih banyaknya digunakan adalah prosedur kesepadanan fungsional (17) dan modulasi (5). Disarankan agar penerjemah agar dapat menggunakan metode penerjemahan adaptasi yang membutuhkan kreativitas dalam mengolah kata-kata dalam bahasa sasaran agar pembaca anak-anak dapat mendapatkankan lebih banyak manfaat dari membaca buku cerita anak dwi bahasa.

Abstract

Tujuan dari analisis tuturan Lara Pangkon upacara temu manten masyarakat Ngantang guna mengetahui makna eksplisit dan makna implisit tuturan. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini menggunakan sumber data tuturan dalam Lara Pangkon, yakni data tulis dan data lisan. Pemerolehan data melalui observasi, wawancara, simak catat, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan cara: (a) transkrip dan penerjemahan data, (b) klasifikasi data, (c) analisis data, dan (d) penarikan kesimpulan hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 15 tuturan yang dianalisis merupakan 7 tuturan eksplisit dan 8 tuturan implisit. Masyarakat Kecamatan Ngantang menggunakan tuturan bermakna implisit selain warisan nenek moyang juga merupakan petuah atau nasihat dalam kehidupan.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan melatih para guru membuat media pembelajaran berbasis powerpoint. Sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah. Metode yang digunakan adalah action research yang terdiri dari 4 (empat) tahapan, yaitu: perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan evaluasi/refleksi. Adapun mitra dari kegiatan PKM ini adalah para guru MI Roudlotul Ulum Mojosari sebanyak 12 orang dan kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan selama 3 (tiga) hari. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu sebanyak 83% dari jumlah peserta mampu membuat media pembelajaran berbasis powerpoint secara tuntas. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan ini dapat memberikan dampak yang baik karena peserta (guru) telah mampu meningkatkan softskill dalam mengoperasikan komputer atau laptop diantaranya dapat membuat media pembelajaran berbasis powerpoint. sehingga media pembelajaran yang telah dibuat tersebut dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran di sekolah.

Abstract

As a product of creativity, slang continuously raises in society used to mark social and cultural differences. This study aims to discover terms of slang used by the community of public transportation drivers in Kacuk Malang, the process of its formation, the meaning it refers to, and the purpose of its usage. Qualitative design is used as the research method by using the following steps in collecting and analyzing data. The observation was done to gain information about using slang in conversation among public transportation drivers and followed up by interviewing ten drivers. The study found that Slang was used for a variety of purposes. Initially, as their code language. As a language for jokes, second. Third, they use Bahasa Jawa (Javanese language) as words or supplementary language to keep the discourse fresh and further demonstrate their Kacuk community identity. Fifth, as a way to get to know one another better. The final one was for their regular discussions.

Abstract

This  study  aimed  to  describe  the  implementation  of  rock  paper  scissorss game  in  teaching  speaking  at  Indocita  Foundation  Malang.  English  is  the  most prime language in the world. Speaking is the core of language learning also one of the most important skills in English to be developed and enchanced as means of effective communication. The approch used descriptive qualitative method where 35 students of junior high school especially nineth grade at Indocita Foundation Malang participated. The data collection used observation, interview and questionnaire. The result showed that  the implementation of rock paper scissors game helped the students to motivate  or treat the students to produce the  voice immediately.  Rock  paper  scissors  game  also  could  motivate  the  students’  to  be brave to speak up in English speaking class. This game in teaching speaking made the students realized that the students might have compete  with other members’ group and the students  got  more  effort  to  be  the  winner  in finishing  the  game soon.  The rock paper scissors took the students attention with the colourful papers in front of them which the students touched while students were speaking up. The problems were faced by the students during the process of implementation of rock paper scissors game in teaching speaking at Indocita Foundation Malang such as 1) cooperation  with  the  member’s  of  the  group  2)  lack  of  vocabularies  3)  lack  of fluency.

Abstract

In the contemporary world, technological advancements have paved the way for online businesses to tap into a broader market using the internet and mobile devices. This implementation of Personal Knowledge Management (PKM) aims to achieve two primary objectives: firstly, training the "Bina Bugis Squads" Youth Community, and secondly, empowering them to engage in online selling through social media platforms, including Tokopedia, which facilitates product marketing across the archipelago. Registering on Tokopedia offers distinct advantages such as effective customer reviews and complaint management (UK), ensuring certification and security (SK), competitive product pricing (HP), comprehensive product descriptions (DP), and reliable transportation options (TR). The enthusiasm to provide workshops to several sellers drives them to embrace online selling through social media and diverse platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and the community itself

Abstract

The point of this article is portraying how the ways Skimming Technique can enhance the primary review understudies' Reading Comprehension Skill on News Item Text at MAN Malang 1. In light of the preparatory study, the specialist found the classroom issues of this class particularly in perusing understanding ability on News Item Text of the primary evaluation understudies of MAN Malang 1. The students got trouble to grasp perusing writings which were given by the English educator. This trouble made 80% of the understudies of this class neglected to achieve the standard least of the school, which is 78.00 in their perusing understanding, and the normal score of this class was just 66.2. In this way, the understudies' perusing cognizance aptitude on News Item message must be moved forward. This study utilized Classroom Action Research (CAR) as the exploration outline. The subjects of this study were one class of the main evaluation understudies which comprised of 37 understudies. The systems of the study secured four stages: arranging, executing, perception, and reflection. The information accumulated was as quantitative and subjective information. The quantitative information was acquired from the perusing appreciation test, and the subjective information was gotten from the understudies perception and agenda and the field note of the educating and learning process.

Abstract

Literary work, especially film, gives life a lot of inspiration. Movie makes the reader aware that the story that happens in a movie is a reflection of a real life. Characters are characters in stories, and traits are the reasons why a character does things. In fact, there are several explanations why in the Movie Script "First They Killed My Father," the researcher was interested in studying literature on cinema, first this film had some amazing characters. Secondly, this film will encourage everybody to fight arbitrariness and anti violent campaigns.. Statements of the problem of research are: What is the physical appearance of the main characters, how is the main character's personality, how are the main characters ' social status, how are the main characters’ social relations. This study is intended to clarify the presence of the main characters, their personality, the social position of the main characters, their social relationship with the main characters. The method used in this study is qualitative research, and the findings of the investigations are all phrases and dialogs between characteristics related to the characterization of the film. The results of this research show that the main characters Loung Ung and Pa, Loung Ung’s Father, named Mr. Ung have made a great contribution to the plot. Characterization concerns the main characters ' physical appearance, personality and social status. Loung Ung’s physical appearance are little girl, slender build, average hair, caramel skin. Pa or Mr. Ung physical appearances are average build, male, moon shape eyes, and caramel skin. Both of the main character have brave personalities, love and care, and love the whole family. For the social status they are moderate family and live in apartment in the city . Pa or Mr.Ung is well educated person because he is an officer. Pa or Mr.Ung has a good social relationship with the people surrounding, but Loung Ung doesn’t have a good social relationship with the people surrounding her because she is passive.
