Abstract

The problems of this study are: (1) how does the teacher conducts the simulation  game, (2) How is the students activities during the learning process, (3) How can the simulation game enhance the learning result (4) How can the simulation game enhance the students motivation, (5) How do the students response this simulation game. This study applies the Class Action Research while the data collected trough questionnaire, test and documentation. This research is done in two cycles. The subject of this study is the XI APK class students of SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Gresik. The result of this study shows the students learning motivation increased after applying the simulation game method. It is proved by the students motivation questionnaire, before this method applied the students motivation is 49,5% and after applying this method, the students motivation become 78%. The studentsÂ’ average point is also increased in each cycle, the first pre- test is 70,37%, the second pre-test is 92,59%, whilst the first post-test is 77,78% and the second posttestis 96,29%. Furthermore, the questionnaire shows that students agreed with the implementation of this method in the archives lesson.

Abstract

This study discusses the important role of character education in exploring the potential for creativity and innovation at MTs Miftahus Sudur Campor Proppo. Character education plays a key role in shaping moral values, positive attitudes, and ethics which form the basis for individuals to optimally develop creativity and innovation. In this research, several important aspects involving character education are analyzed in developing the potential for creativity and innovation. Things such as building ethical and moral foundations, developing an open attitude and critical thinking, strengthening independence and initiative, encouraging collaboration and cooperation, overcoming fear, and integrating imagination and problem solving are the main focus in understanding the role of character education in developing potential creativity and innovation. . This research provides valuable insight into how character education can be an effective tool in creating a supportive environment and facilitating the development of creative and innovative individuals.

Abstract

Implementation of a learning approach based on local wisdom at MTs Miftahus Sudur Campor Proppo increases students' interest in learning through connectedness to local culture, the relevance of learning, and strengthening cultural identity. The research method used is qualitative with interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed high student enthusiasm, better involvement, and development of critical and creative abilities. Practical recommendations include teacher training, curriculum development, school-community partnerships, and the use of information technology. This research makes an important contribution to local wisdom-based education with in-depth understanding and practical guidance.

Abstract

Studi ini mengkaji pembaharuan politik Islam di Indonesia dengan fokus pada relevansi pemikiran Nurcholish Madjid dan Abdurrahman Wahid. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain historis-komparatif, penelitian ini menganalisis konvergensi dan divergensi pemikiran kedua tokoh intelektual Muslim yang berpengaruh tersebut dalam konteks sosial-politik Indonesia dari masa Orde Baru hingga era Reformasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun berangkat dari latar belakang intelektual yang berbeda Nurcholish Madjid dengan tradisi modernisme dan Abdurrahman Wahid dengan tradisi pesantren kedua tokoh ini mencapai titik temu paradigmatik dalam beberapa aspek fundamental, yakni: desakralisasi politik Islam, reinterpretasi tradisi Islam untuk modernitas, kompatibilitas Islam dengan demokrasi dan hak asasi manusia, serta pluralisme sebagai nilai esensial. Perbedaan signifikan terdapat dalam pendekatan dan strategi perubahan: Madjid lebih tekstual-doktrinal dengan preferensi pada pembaharuan kultural, sementara Wahid lebih kontekstual-praksis dengan keterlibatan langsung dalam aktivisme politik. Kontribusi utama penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi bagaimana dialektika pemikiran kedua tokoh telah membentuk diskursus politik Islam moderat di Indonesia, serta menawarkan kerangka konseptual untuk menghadapi tantangan kontemporer seperti kebangkitan konservatisme, populisme berbasis identitas keagamaan, dan pengaruh Islam transnasional. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa sintesis kreatif antara elaborasi doktrinal Madjid dan kepekaan kontekstual Wahid dapat menghasilkan kerangka pemikiran yang lebih komprehensif untuk mengembangkan politik Islam yang demokratis, pluralis, dan berkeadilan di Indonesia kontemporer.
