Abstract

The policy of the jambi regency provincial government regulates the ethnicity of children based on Law No. 6 of 2014 concerning Villages; Permendagri No. 52 of 2014 concerning Guidelines for the Recognition and Protection of Indigenous and Tribal Peoples; and Ministry of Social Decree Number 187 / Huk / 2018 Concerning Determination of Social Empowerment Locations for Remote Indigenous Communities in 2019. Based on these regulations the regency government has issued a program specifically for the Suku Anak Dalam (SAD), namely the Remote Welfare Development Program (PKSMT) . Where there are 5 programs that have been targeted, but of the five PKSMT programs that are running there are only 4 programs, namely: (a) Settlements, (b) Smart Houses, (c) Empowerment, (d) Health.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the effect of work motivation on employee performance at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Kerinci Regency. This study uses quantitative methods, with exogenous variables, namely the work motivation variable, employee performance at the Department of Population and Civil Registration, Kerinci Regency. The data collection technique in this study used a proportional stratified random sampling technique. The population of this study were all employees at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Kerinci Regency. Respondents in this study amounted to 96 samples. The data analysis technique used is path analysis and is divided into 2 paths, namely sub-structure 1 and sub-structure 2. Data is collected through a questionnaire that has been tested for its validity and reliability in advance both in terms of content and empirical test of items in the field. The results of this study have found that the hypothetical model is proven to be used as a new model in improving the performance of employees at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Kerinci Regency. The findings in this study indicate that: There is an effect of work motivation on performance.

Abstract

Penggunaan kartu E-money (BRIZZI) pada awal-awalpeluncuran di UPT Bus Trans Padang ditemukan banyaknya pengguna Bus Trans Padang yang masih belum tahu penggunaan Bus Trans Padang dalam menggunakan kartu E-money (BRIZZI) dan cara penggunaanya yang mana kartu E-money (BRIZZI) yang di terapkan pada tanggal 17 Agustus 2019. Metode penelitian yang digunakan bersifat deskriptif kualitatif.Pengambilan sampel peneliti menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sebanyak 10 orang informan.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: Strategi pelayanan UPT Bus Trans Padang dalam penerapan kartu E-money (BRIZZI) pada Bus Trans Padang sudah berjalan baik. Adapaun kendala yang ditemukan pada strategi penggunaan kartu E-money (BRIZZI) pada Bus Trans Padang antara lain :Kurangnya sosialisasi; Kurangnya sarana tempat penjulan tiket dan top up. Adapun upaya yang dilakukan dalam mengatasi kendala strategi penggunaan kartu E-money (BRIZZI) pada Bus Trans Padang antara lain : melakukan sosialisasi lebih intens tentang kartu E-Money; Mengupayakan dan menambah outlat penjualan kartu Brizi serta meningkatkan kemitraan dalam penjulanan dan top up kartu E-Money.

Abstract

Bandar built village is one of the villages located in the Lubuk Kilangan sub-district, Padang, West Sumatra, Indonesia. Bandar Create Village is also a Village with potential in agriculture, plantations, animal husbandry, and trade in Lubuk Kilangan District, Padang City, West Sumatra Province. Associative causal research methods quantitative techniques. Data collection techniques with questionnaires. The population in this study were all RT, RW in Bandar Create Village, Lubuk Kilangan District, Padang City. With a total of 61 samples that are representative of the existing population. Data analysis used descriptive analysis, classic assumption test, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that the influence on the emotional intelligence variable (X) with Decision Making (Y) was 0.245 or 24.5% while the remaining 20.2% was influenced by other factors not included in this study.

Abstract

Budaya Patriarki Dan Kaum Misogini mempengaruhi pandangan dan perlakuan terhadap janda di indonesia. Budaya patriarki di indonesia menyebabkan perempuan sering mengalami kekerasan dalam rumah tangga, pelecehan seksual, angka pernikahan dini, dan stigma mengenai perceraian. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan analisis semiotika Roland Barthes. Dalam analisis semiotika Roland Barthes ini peneliti menganalisis tiga tanda yaitu visual, verbal, serta audio, yang kemudian akan dihubungkan sehingga nantinya akan didapatkan makna denotatif,konotatif dan mitos. Oleh karena itu penulis akan menganalisis deskripsi pengungkapan Perspektif Budaya Patriarki Dan Kaum Misogini yang digambarkan yang ada dalam pandangan masyarakat terhadap Budaya Patriarki Dan Kuam Misogini ini melalui makna denotasi, konotasi, dan mitos. Penulis melakukan analisis per video yang menampilkan unsur-unsur Perspektif Budaya Patriarki Dan Kaum Misogini dan akan menjabarkan pembahasan secara mendalam mengenai analisis semiotika Perspektif Budaya Patriarki Dan Kaum Misogini Dalam Platform TikTok dengan menggunakan teori analisis Roland Barthes.

Abstract

The Head of Community Empowerment and Social Welfare plays a role in realizing Social Welfare Development, especially in enhancing economic development through community empowerment activities and social welfare. In this context, there are Community Social Workers (Pekerja Sosial Masyarakat) who function as partners for the Subdistrict to enhance development by empowering the community. This research aims to analyze the roles and functions of the Head of Community Empowerment and Social Welfare in community empowerment in Jati Baru Subdistrict, Padang City. The study also aims to identify hindering factors and efforts made by the Head of Community Empowerment and Social Welfare in the distribution of social assistance to the community. The research utilizes a qualitative descriptive method, employing data collection techniques such as interviews, documentation, and theoretical analysis. Based on the research findings, there are several obstacles in the distribution of social assistance in Jati Baru Subdistrict, such as administrative factors resulting in uneven distribution of social assistance, and limited human resources. The conclusion drawn from this research is that the roles and functions of the Head of Community Empowerment and Social Welfare in Jati Baru Subdistrict, Padang City, play a crucial role in identifying, assisting, and improving the welfare of the community. The fair and targeted distribution of assistance is essential to help those in need meet their basic needs. This study also suggests improving the quality of human resources to help reduce overlap in efforts to improve the well-being of the community

Abstract

Children under the age of 18, often characterized by a dull appearance and living on the streets, engage in activities such as selling newspapers, begging and busking to survive. This social problem arises because of social inequality and poverty, which makes it difficult for them to access the resources around them. In addition, a lack of religious education was also identified as a factor influencing these children, making them unable to face the trials. This research aims to analyze and propose solutions to improve the implementation program of Padang Mayor's regulation Number 41 of 2017 concerning procedures for developing street children which aims to prevent and overcome the problem of street children through various activities such as socialization, supervision and control. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method where research provides an overview of individuals or groups regarding the conditions that occur. This data collection technique is through direct observation, interviews and documentation which provides an in-depth understanding of the condition of street children in Padang City. The results of the research and discussion show that in the implementation of Padang Mayor Regulation Number 41 of 2017 there are still obstacles that affect the effectiveness of the program, such as street children's lack of understanding of the regulations and limitations of the socialization approach. To overcome this problem, a more effective and intensive approach is needed in the socialization and assistance of street children as well as the importance of implementing a clear and consistent communication approach in the policy implementation process so that they can understand and follow the regulations well.

Abstract

Media sosial telah menjadi salah satu instrumen komunikasi yang paling berpengaruh dalam hubungan antara pemerintah dan masyarakat di era digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh media sosial terhadap pola komunikasi pemerintah dan masyarakat, serta mengidentifikasi kendala, tantangan, dan strategi optimalisasi pemanfaatan media sosial. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif yang mencakup reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media sosial telah mengubah pola komunikasi menjadi lebih terbuka, dua arah, dan partisipatif. Pemerintah dapat menyampaikan kebijakan dan program secara real-time, sementara masyarakat memiliki akses untuk memberikan tanggapan, kritik, dan aspirasi. Namun, pemanfaatan media sosial juga menghadapi sejumlah kendala, seperti penyebaran hoaks, rendahnya literasi digital masyarakat, keterbatasan kapasitas pemerintah dalam mengelola media sosial, serta kesenjangan akses internet di wilayah tertentu. Untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut, diperlukan strategi optimalisasi yang meliputi peningkatan profesionalisme pengelolaan akun resmi pemerintah, transparansi informasi, peningkatan literasi digital masyarakat, pemanfaatan teknologi analitik, dan kolaborasi dengan berbagai pihak. Strategi ini bertujuan untuk memastikan media sosial dapat dimanfaatkan secara efektif sebagai sarana komunikasi publik yang transparan, responsif, dan partisipatif. Dengan demikian, media sosial memiliki potensi besar dalam memperkuat komunikasi antara pemerintah dan masyarakat jika dikelola dengan baik. Pemerintah diharapkan dapat mengadopsi strategi yang tepat agar media sosial tidak hanya menjadi sarana penyampaian informasi, tetapi juga wadah untuk membangun kepercayaan publik, partisipasi yang lebih inklusif, dan pemerintahan yang lebih akuntabel.

Abstract

Mental health is a crucial aspect of maintaining life balance, particularly amidst increasing social pressures and the complexities of modern life. Numerous studies have shown that music is not merely a form of entertainment but also possesses significant therapeutic functions. As a form of non-verbal communication, music enables emotional expression, stress reduction, and provides a medium for self-expression that cannot be easily conveyed through spoken language. This study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive case study approach involving eight housewives in the Pasar Gaung area, Padang City. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, and analyzed using Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) and music communication concepts. The findings reveal that music is effective in regulating emotions, transforming negative feelings, and fostering motivation and creativity. Moreover, music serves as a universal medium of communication that builds social connectedness and offers psychological support. Therefore, music can be considered an essential coping mechanism and a valuable therapeutic resource for enhancing mental well-being.
