Abstract

Abstrak: Penulisan artikel ini dilatar belakangi karena pentingnya hasil pembelajaran untuk diterapkan dalam memperbaiki mutu pendidikan. Guru sebagai penggerak dalam pembelajaran di kelas, tentu harus memiliki kualitas yang mampu mengembangkan penilaian kelas yang inovatif. Pentingnya menguatkan pemahaman guru terhadap praktik penilaian kelas melalui kegiatan pelatihan penilaian autentik. Pelatihan dilakukan di Madrasah Ibtidaiah (MI) Ma’had Istiqlal Kecamatan Klari Kabupaten Karawang Jawa Barat. Peserta pelatihan berjumlah 20 orang dengan kualifikasi pendidikan yang berbeda. Data diperoleh melalui pemberian posttest diakhir pelatihan, analisis data dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa guru MI di Kabupaten Karawang memiliki pengetahuan yang baik pasca mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan mengenai penilaian autentik, serta penerapannya dalam proses pembelajaran. Abstract: The writing of this article is motivated by the importance of learning outcomes to be applied in improving the quality of education. The teacher as a driving force in learning in the classroom, but must have the qualities that are able to master classroom assessment in an innovative way. The importance of strengthening teacher understanding of classroom assessment practices through authentic assessment training activities. The training was conducted at the Madrasah Ibtidaiah (MI) Ma'had Istiqlal, Klari District, Karawang Regency, West Java. There were 20 trainees with different educational qualifications. Data obtained through posttest at the end of the training, data analysis with a quantitative approach. The results show that MI teachers in Karawang regency have good knowledge after participating in training activities on authentic assessment, and their application in the learning process

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that cause high IQ students who experience learning difficulties so that learning outcomes are low (underachiever). This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach to the interpretive-constructivist model. The research subjects were 2 elementary school students who had high IQ but had low learning outcomes under the Minimum Completeness Standard (MCS). Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that the factors causing the underachiever were: burdening with the characteristics of not caring about learning and the inability to do learning assignments and a family environment with caring but possessive parents 'attitudes and parents who were more concerned with learning than facilitating students' potential.

Abstract

This article discusses the psychometric validity of the Indonesian version of emotional learning instruments with a scale of five and four response categories. The purpose of this study is to produce an Indonesian version of emotional learning instrument with an effective response category scale used by Indonesians. The instrument is a modification of the scale of the Learning Environment Research Questionnaire on Emotional Climate Classroom. This study is a survey of 1494 responses of 7th and 8th grade junior high school students. Samples were selected by random sampling and based on considerations of schools implementing the 2013 Curriculum. Modification instruments consisting of 43 items were tested in obtaining validity based on item difficulty estimations and psychometric criteria with Rasch modeling. The results of this study indicate that the Andrich threshold validity testing meets the monotonic characteristics and the Standardized Residual Correlation is higher, so the scale of the five response categories is more effective to measure the Indonesian version of emotional learning instruments than the scale of the four response categories. Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the industrial work practice program at the Integrated Islamic Vocational School through the Context, Input, Process, Product and Outcome approaches. This research is a quantitative description. The method in this study using a questionnaire. The research sample was one principal, two deputy head of industrial relations, one deputy head of curriculum, four teachers who supervised the industrial practice program, and 133 students. The results of the study show the suitability or relevance of the dimensions: 1) Context consists of the goals, competencies and work ethic of students as well as links and matches; 2) Input consists of planning, provisioning, curriculum, students, human resources, infrastructure and financing; 3) Process, consisting of mapping, implementation, monitoring, effectiveness; 4) Product consists of a competency test and certification; 5) Outcome consisted of student absorption and change in attitude skills. The results of the research can contribute to evaluating the overall industrial work practice program from various dimensions, so that it can increase the competency absorption of Integrated Islamic Vocational Schools in the business and industrial world.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce an Indonesian version of the emotional learning online classroom environment survey instrument with a response category scale. Instruments from a modified Learning Environment Research Questionnaire on Classroom Emotional Climate. This research is a survey on 1494 responses of 7th grade and 8th grade junior high school students in four regions of DKI Jakarta Province. The sample was selected by simple random sampling and based on the considerations of schools implementing the 2013 curriculum. The modified instrument consisted of 43 items to be tested in obtaining validity based on the estimated difficulty of the items and the psychometric criteria with Rasch modeling. The results of this study indicate that the Andrich threshold test fulfills the monotonic nature and unconsciously the students' responses form an emotional culture that prioritizes self-awareness in online learning. Therefore, for the psychological scale compilers are expected to compile statement items that are easy to understand and build good interactions with respondent, so that the respondent feels not intervened. This trend may even increase when sensitive issues of concern statement appear in the instrument items. Characteristics of psychologically motivated instruments, written in the statement items intervene on sensitive issues in the learning environment.

Abstract

Abstract Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) based learning aims to improve students' critical thinking skills and creative thinking skills. Teachers need to prepare integrated HOTS questions in learning. The ability to develop HOTS items is one of the abilities that teachers must-have. This study aims to develop teacher competence in compiling HOTS items for classroom learning. This activity is in the form of a workshop in the context of implementing Community Service for elementary and junior high school teachers in the DKI Jakarta area. The workshop participants were 146 teachers (Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics). The ability to understand workshop material is carried out in self-assessment. The results of the self-assessment of the workshop participants showed that there was an increase in the ability of workshop participants to compile HOTS questions using real problems and to understand the development of open-ended questions from closed questions after the provision of material by the resource person and the practice of writing questions. Abstrak Pembelajaran berbasis Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kemampuan berpikir keratif siswa. Guru perlu menyiapkan soal-soal HOTS terintegarsi dalam pembelajaran. Kemampuan pengembangan butir soal HOTS merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang harus dimiliki oleh guru. Tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini untuk mengembangkan kompetensi guru dalam menyusun butir HOTS untuk pembelajaran di kelas. Kegiatan ini berupa workshop dalam rangka pelaksanaan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat untuk guru SD dan guru SMP di wilayah DKI Jakarta. Peserta workshop sebanyak 146 orang guru (Biologi, Fisika, Kimia, dan Matematika). Kemampuan pemahaman materi workshop dilakukan dalam penilaian self assesment. Hasil self-assessment dari peserta workshop menunjukkan ada peningkatan kemampuan peserta workshop dalam menyusun soal HOTS dengan menggunakan masalah nyata, dan memahami pengembangan soal berbentuk open-ended dari soal berbentuk tertutup setelah pemberian materi oleh narasumber dan praktik penulisan butir soal.

Abstract

Hasil Survey TIMMS menunjukkan rata-rata skor prestasi Matematika siswa Indonesia masih rendah. Capaian ini menunjukkan rata-rata siswa Indonesia hanya mampu mengenali sejumlah fakta dasar tetapi belum mampu mengkomunikasikan, mengaitkan berbagai topik, apalagi menerapkan konsep-konsep yang kompleks dan abstrak. Oleh karenanya guru perlu menyiapkan soal-soal berbasis literasi numerik yang terintegarsi dalam pembelajaran. Kemampuan pengembangan butir soal literasi numerik merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang harus dimiliki oleh guru di tingkat sekolah dasar. Tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini untuk menganalisis kemampuan pemahaman guru sekolah dasar dalam mengembangkan butir soal berbasis literasi numerik. Penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif, menggunakan data dari kegiatan pelatihan dalam rangka pelaksanaan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat (P2M) untuk guru SD di Desa Bobojong Kecamatan Mande Cianjur Jawa Barat. Peserta pelatihan sebanyak 23 orang guru. Kemampuan pemahaman materi pelatihan dilakukan melalui self assesment dan instrumen evaluasi. Hasil self-assessment dari peserta pelatihan menunjukkan ada peningkatan kemampuan peserta pelatihan dalam menyusun butir soal literasi numerik dengan menggunakan masalah nyata, dan problem solving setelah pemberian materi dan praktik penulisan butir soal.
