Abstract

Nurses must have full awareness to carry out the risk of falling risk with the knowledge they have and to be obedient in carrying out these activities in order to reduce unwanted events. Objective: To determine the nurse's compliance with the risk of falling with the implementation of an intervention in the patient's risk of falling in the inpatient room. Research methods: This research is a quantitative correlation study with a cross-sectional approach. The study population was all nurses at Bhakti Wira Tamtama Hospital Semarang, with a total of 50 nurses in inpatient care. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling with 44 respondents. Results: The majority of respondents complied to conduct a fall risk assessment (81.8%), the majority of respondents intervened in a fall risk patient (84.1%). There is compliance with nurses conducting a fall risk assessment by implementing interventions on patients' risk of falling in the inpatient room with a p-value of 0,0001. Conclusion: Compliance in falling risk assessment and implementing intervention of falling risk patients by nurses will reduce the incidence of falling patients. Keywords: compliance of assessment; risk of falling; intervention action

Abstract

Introduction: The provision of health services to patients involves nurses as caregivers to patients who are sick or healthy through communication. However, there is data providing information that is not optimal to patients, resulting in an increase in patient complaints. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to determine the communication of nurses towards the rights of patients involved in health services participation at Ungaran Hospital. Methods: The research method was quantitative with a cross-sectional approach to 97 samples measured using a questionnaire instrument and analyzed using chi-square. Results: The results of nurse communication relate to the patient's right to be involved in health service participation at Ungaran Hospital with a p-value of 0.000. The need for the ability of patients and families to know information related to their health and the patient's right to obtain information about nursing health actions so that they can participate in improving their health status.

Abstract

Kepala ruangan memegang peranan penting dalam keberhasilan pelayanan keperawatan melalui fungsi manajemen,karena berdampak dalam peningkatan mutu pelayanan di rumah sakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan Rancangan Model kepemimpinan dan manajemen kepala ruangan berbasis Patricia Benner di ruang rawat inap BLUD RSUD Kotamobagu. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain fenomenologi eksploratif dengan metode focus group discussion dan Action Research dengan metode Workshop Pakar. Partisipan FGD adalah 12 orang kepala ruangan, dan Partisipan saat Workshop pakar adalah 24 orang melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa hasil rekaman, catatan lapangan, Hasil Workshop pakar yang dianalisis dengan mene rapkan teknik Collaizi. Keabsahan data dijamin dengan memenuhi prinsip credibility, dependability, confirmability, dan transferability. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi enam tema utama: (1) Kompetensi dalam peran organisasi; (2) Fungsi manajemen yang efektif; (3) Peran kepala Ruangan; (4) Perencanaan dan pengarahan ; (5) Pengendalian dan pengawasan; (6) Manajemen Konflik dan Penyelesaian Masalah. Model kepemimpinan dan manajemen kepala ruangan berbasis patricia Benner Theory ini dapat menjadi panduan dalam Menyusun rencana strategi bidang Keperawatan dapat dimodifikasi oleh BLUD RSUD Kotamobagu guna meningkatkan kemampuan leadership dan kemampuan mengelola fungsi manajemen keperawatan kepala ruangan.

Abstract

Sanitasi Total Berbasis Masyarakat atau lebih dikenal dengan istilah STBM adalah pendekatan untuk merubah perilaku higiene dan sanitasi melalui pemberdayaan masyarakat dengan metode pemicuan. STBM terdiri dari 5 pilar diantaranya yang pilar pertama Stop Buang Air Besar Sembarangan, pilar kedua Cuci Tangan Pakai Sabun, pilar ketiga Pengelolaan Air Minum/Makanan Rumah Tangga, pilar keempat Pengelolaan Sampah Rumah Tangga dan pilar kelima Pengelolaan Limbah Cair Rumah Tangga. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif, desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-experimental design dengan pendekatan one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 35 masyarakat Desa Sarude Kecamatan Sarjo Kabupaten Pasangkayu Provinsi Sulawesi Barat. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis univariat dan bivariat dengan uji wilcoxon (uji-t berpasangan). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengetahuan pre dan post test, nilai P 1 > 0,05. Hasil sikap pre dan post test, nilai P 0,068 > 0,05. Hasil tindakan pre dan post test nilai P 0,013 < 0,05. Kesimpulan ada pengaruh penyuluhan terhadap tindakan masyarakat sebelum dan sesudah diberikan penyuluhan, namun tidak ada pengaruh bermakna pada pengetahuan dan sikap masyarakat sebelum dan sesudah diberikan penyuluhan di Desa Sarude Kecamatan Sarjo Kabupaten Pasangkayu Provinsi Sulawesi Barat. Sebagai saran diharapkan bagi pihak Desa dan Puskesmas setempat bisa untuk selalu mensosialisasikan program STBM kepada kader dan masyarakat sehingga masyarakat mendapatkan informasi tentang penting dan manfaat penerapan STBM terlebih untuk mencapai Desa ODF (Open Defecation Free) 100%.

Abstract

Background: Toddlers are a vulnerable group in terms of nutrition and are at a high risk for disease. Toddlers’ nutritional health might be affected by a lack of nutrient intake. The nutritional status of children under the age of five is critical since it is an indicator of their health and nutritional status. Malnutrition continues to increase in Sukodono where there are currently 54 undernourished toddlers. This is due to the mother’s lack of knowledge. Counseling through leaflets and video screenings is one of the media for increasing mothers’ knowledge. This study aimed to analyzed the effect of leaflets and balanced menu videos on the knowledge, attitudes and behavior of malnourished mothers under five in the village of Sukodono Tahunan Jepara, Central Java.Methods: A quantitative research with quasi-experimental approach. The populations of the study were 54 undernourished toddlers at the aged 1 to 5 years. A total of 32 undernourished toddlers’ mothers in Sukodono were included in this study, and divided into 16 subjects from control group (using leaflet) and 16 subjects from intervention group (using video). Results: There was an effect of balanced menu leaflet media on the knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of malnourished toddler mothers in the village of Sukodono Tahunan Jepara. There is an effect of balanced menu video media on the knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of malnourished toddler mothers in Sukodono Tahunan village, Jepara. There is no more effective difference between giving leaflets and balanced menu videos on the knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of malnourished toddler mothers in Sukodono Tahunan Jepara village with p values > 0.05 (0.434, 0.067 and 0.131).Conclusion: There is no more effective difference between the provision of leaflets and balanced menu videos on the knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of undernourished toddlers’ mothers in Sukodono Tahunan Jepara with a p value > 0.05 (0.434, 0.067 and 0.131.
